Plumbing reviews in Marietta, Georgia

I bought a new construction build(a house) 2 years ago and Randal lowe plumbing did most of, if not all of the plumbing for all of the houses in the community(about 50 houses). Several people in the community have had problems with their plumbing including myself. Here is my story.
Our water heater was showing an error code of 12. I called them and they told me that they would charge $295 for an inspection. I paid them for the inspection and they told me that I needed to replace a piece of the water heater and they were going to charge me another $200 to replace the piece(this was for the labor). A Randal lowe technician replace the piece and a day later the problem reappeared. I called them and they told me that they needed to replace yet another piece and they were going to charge me an additional $295. I paid them to replace it because I didn't have hot water for close to 2weeks at that point.
Now 6 months later yet again I have the same issue. I called them and they told me that they were going to have to charge me yet another $295 for another inspection. I tried talking to them and told them that I paid close too $1000 and the problem still persist. They didn't care.
Now I am working with TE Certified and they told me that the inspection is free.
Please don't use Randal lowe several people in my community have had similar experiences. And their customer service is horrible. -
Our contractor used them when our house was built. Our Roman tub faucet was sloppily installed and the handles were completely loose that we couldn't even use our tub until another plumber came out to fix it. The faucet itself was not securely installed either. I would never use them for anything. Obviously, quality doesn't matter to them.

This company does nothing but waste your time, I'm waiting around for warranty work, I've stayed home on 2 different dates, the tech never shows up.
No supervisor or anyone you can contact, the service department isn't aware of anything going on. Complete run around.
If I could give them a 0 I would, HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND - read the below reviews!!!!
**Updated - Leaking faucet after coming out for warranty work -- PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY - 4 appointments later they finally came out and left it in worst condition then before. -
Our new @pulte home was plumbed by Randall Lowe Plumbing. Had a water leak under the sink. We had to tear up the cabinet floor to locate the leak. My plumber could not believe how it was plumbed. Terrible, sloppy job. See pictures for yourself. My plumber friends can comment. See the pictures of terrible plumbing and the right way to do a job. They don't take pride in their work or stand behind their work. There are plenty of honest plumbers in town who would truly appreciate your business.

First I was a little skeptical about using them because of the reviews, but after my first appointment with them it was not bad at all.
Jacob was my tech guy who came out to fix something that was still part of my builder warranty.
He was very professional and knowledgeable.
Due to COVID-19, I request mask and shoe covers warn at all time. They didn't give me any hassle.
Jacob was very clean and tidy ask he does his job.
I even asked him to come back and install a tub for my laundry.
The only thing you have to understand is that they only do work for homes under builder's warranty.
So if you looking for a service plumber, this is not the company.
I think their service was great!! -
Randal put in Hot water heater 4 years ago. Had issue and called them and they said 125.00 to come out and any isuues would be billed back to AO Smith for parts. I called 2 times to make sure that that all I paid and both ladies (wont mention names) said yes. Then they came out and with out calling , my son happen to be home. They after 2 hours on phone with AO Smith said they had to get part tomorrow and it would be another 250.00 for labor. oh,,, I called another compnay that AO Smith recommened and they came out replace parts and were gone in 45 min. Will never use Randell ever.... even if they put there tags up everywhere on the hot water heater.

I cannot say enough great things about this plumbing company! They came out within a day to fix our sewer system, which was a huge relief. The team was prompt, professional, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing.
What truly set them apart was their customer service. They didn’t just fix the issue — they went above and beyond by handling communication with the internet company to coordinate the necessary repairs. That level of follow-through made a stressful situation so much easier for us.
Excellent service, excellent customer service, excellent all around. I highly recommend them to anyone needing reliable and responsive plumbing work! -
We have lived in our home for eight years. However, within the past 13 months, we have experienced four hot water line failures—two of which occurred within seven days of each other back around the end of October. Two of the ruptures occurred above the foundation, while the most recent two were beneath the foundation.
As a result, we were forced to vacate the home and have now been without running water for over 30 days. Significant damage was sustained, including the removal of kitchen cabinets and flooring, as well as extensive damage to the laundry room walls and flooring. In both affected areas, the concrete slab had to be jackhammered to access the failed PEX piping.
Ultimately, the entire home required re-plumbing. We have since learned that more than 500 homes in our neighborhood have faced similar issues requiring full re-plumbing. The process involved cutting multiple access holes in the sheetrock (eight in total) to reroute new water lines, which are now run along the attic ceiling joists.
Based on professional assessments, these failures stem from improperly installed PEX piping that was already damaged prior to installation by Randal Lowe’s plumbing team. Given our experience, I strongly recommend that prospective homebuyers verify the plumbing contractor used in a home and exercise caution when considering this company. -
