Awesome company. I had a client who had a problem with their heat. A&K had someone out there within a couple of hours and they were very fast and honest about the issue. I will definitely call them again the next time we have a need in the area.

Mr. Kenneth came out and did a fantastic job! I called slightly unsure what the issue my ac was having and he came out addressed it & serviced it quickly. He was able to make it out the same day I called, giving me updates when he was heading my way. He was very personable and Knowledgeable. Thankful to have cold air blowing now!🌬

My HVAC unit was making a loud motor-type noise. Of course, it happened when we got the snow last week. That was on a Friday. The next day, I noticed the fan stopped spinning. So, I called A&K. The tech was at my house within an hour. After testing a few things, he discovered that the compressor died and needed to be replaced. The compressor, alone, was gonna be $3,500...OUCH! On that Monday, he called to see if the warranty expired and found out that I had 6 months left. Whew...that was a blessing. Reaching out to Carrier about the warranty, wanting to save me money, was the more impressive than his work. He picked up the new compressor and my HVAC was fixed on Tuesday. He was such pleasant person. I gave his card to my neighbors immediately. He came out on Saturday, confirmed my warranty coverage on Monday, and fixed the issue on Tuesday...absolutely amazing!!
There's NOTHING bad I can say about him or the company. I hope I don't have to call him again. However, if I do, I won't hesitate!

I called several different businesses getting quotes and information on my unit, but out of them all, Ken was the most professional and punctual. He showed up within the hour of my call and had my ac unit up and running the very next day. If you’re looking for an honest businessman he’s definitely the person for you. I will definitely recommend A&K Heating and Air. Kenneth White came to my home this morning due to my heat not working. I got a few quotes and was told I need to replace my furnace $3500-5000 it was over the life expectancy not one person tried to fix or see if something can be fix. It was all about making a quick sell.
Kenneth ask me do I want him to replace it or repair. I was surprised that repairing was even an option.
Being a woman with kids and knowing nothing about heating and air, we fall victim to being taking advantage of.
The weight lifted off me when he told me he can repair my furnace. That was nothing but God and he used Kenneth and my brother (who recommended Kenneth) and placed him right at my doorstep early this morning. Kenneth was able to repair my furnace, he replaced the glow and lighter plug, sensor plug, and flame rod. The repair did not cost much 🙌🏽
I now have heat!!! Kenneth was in and out my house in under two hours.
Too add the icing on the cake he even told me to get carbon monoxide detectors and replace furnace in a few months, this gives me time to save up.
I am forever grateful and will be calling A&K Heating & Air back when I am ready to replace. You have gained a loyal customer and I will definitely recommend

Kenneth White did a wonderful job he was able to find out what the problem was and resolve the situation with in a matter of time he also informed me on what to do in the future to prevent the problem from ever happening again he also pointed out a lot of great details that lead to the problem that the company that I uses before this company looked over and he was on time

The HVAC unit died on Sunday, Monday Kenneth comes first thing in the morning to check it out, Wednesday same week is all new installed and running! Great work, all cleaned after it's finished, looking good and running quiet 😺 makes sure everything is right before leaving the site. Added extra wire as existing one wasn't up for the job.

Our AC unit was over 26 years old. Back in 2023, my husband called A&K Heating when the unit wasn’t working. Mr. Kenny came out early that morning, even though he was fully booked. He didn’t know us at all, yet he fixed the unit and didn’t charge anything extra. He also recommended that we repair the wiring due to the age of the system.
Later that same year, my husband called him again. Mr. Kenny came back with a smile, knowing the unit was well over 20 years old, and he repaired the wiring just like he said he would.
Three years later, the unit finally went out—but by then, my husband had passed away from cancer. My husband left me a list of trusted people to call if anything happened, and Mr. Kenny was on that list. While searching for his number, I even saw where Mr. Kenny had sent herbs to help my husband during his illness. That meant more to me than words can say.
A&K Heating came out and replaced both units. I could have chosen a cheaper company, but reliability, kindness, and integrity matter to me. Mr. Kenny has always been dependable, on time, and genuinely caring. I paid exactly what he asked because his customer service is worth it.
Even after the job was completed, he followed up to make sure everything was working properly. I asked him to leave the old unit so I could check with my insurance company, and when I later needed it picked up, he didn’t even charge me—despite the inconvenience.
Once again, Mr. Kenny saved the day. I highly recommend A&K Heating to anyone looking for honest, reliable, and compassionate service.

I must say R&A Cooling is my go to for life. I called them regarding an issue with my heat and they came out the same day within hours and performed a diagnostic of my heating/ac unit. They were very professional, timely and provided me with the issues and several affordable options to resolve. Let's just say I was back up and running within days with no stress nor hassles. It's never good when you're AC is on the blink. Robert was able to make the repair within 24 hours of contacting him. I would recommend R&A to anyone who appreciates skill, knowledge and professionalism.

I decided to turn on my air early to ensure my unit was working properly inside and outside. The air for my upstairs level was not working properly and I'm glad I caught it early on before the summer heat kicked in. I called my home insurance and was assigned R&A Cooling, LLC. The tech (Shawn) showed up at my residence the next business day as promised by my home insurance. Shawn was punctual and very professional. He wore the proper attire when he entered my residence and explained each step of the process while he was here. I'm really big in working with minority-owned businesses and they showed me how trustworthy they are and should be called upon by anyone needing their services. Thank you for being prompt and explaining in detail what was done while you were here.

VERY professional. My A/C started leaking & was referred by friend! Everything was explained in a way that was easy to understand. I was given recommendations for future maintenance, + I especially appreciated receiving a detailed work order, explaining the diagnosis and also being able to make the payments online via their electronic invoice, I didn’t need to be there etc. Seamless & up to date technology, made my life easier!!!! Highly Recommend

I called American Home Shield on a Saturday regarding my heat not staying on. They sent out a request, but the company AHS referred me to was not open on the weekends. I called AHS back and they were able to connect me to R&A Cooling who said they could service me the same day. R&A gave me a window of 12-4pm, but they came on the early side. I was able to track (in their app) where my technician was located, his progress towards my house, and his ETA. Shawn arrived shortly after 1pm and wore the proper shoe protectors to enter my home. I explained what the issue was and he went to work. Within about 30 minutes he had diagnosed and repaired the issue. He was able to answer additional technical questions I had and was professional in his consultation. This was my first experience with this company and I'm SO glad they performed. I appreciated most importantly that they were able to accommodate me on the weekend/same day (and he was over 30 minutes away from me), they were timely, professional, and able to fix the issue (dirty sensors) in the same visit. Our heat went out on Christmas Eve(the coldest day of the year)Of course everyone was closed so we couldn't get anyone out until Monday. I spoke with Shaun(I think) and they were able to squeeze me in on that same day. Robert came out and he was very professional and was able to diagnose the problem in no time. He then informed me that they may not have the part and either was they would communicate that with me(if they would be able to come back out Tuesday or Wednesday) I spoke with Ashley on Tuesday and she informed me that Robert had our part and he would come out Wednesday to install it. Needless, to say we are with heat again thanks to R&A Cooling.
