Unprofessional with Poor Communication!
An appointment was made with Shaw Air on 12/14/23. The technician was supposed to arrive between 3 pm and 5 pm. No one showed up, and i didn't receive any correspondence. After 5 pm, I made several phone calls, where I was told that the tech is still on his way. Finally, at 7:30 pm, I received a text message stating that the technician would have to reschedule. I received a new appointment for 12/18/23, between the time of 11 am and 1 pm. Again, the technician didn't show up, and I had to initiate communication. Again, I was told that the technician was still on his way, but after waiting several hours, the appointment was cancelled by Shaw Air. Better communication could have prevented this.

True story! My home has been under warranty for 10 years, when my AC unit went out my warranty company sent Shaw to my house to do a service call. My warranty company was not gonna cover my unit in full. They were going to charge me upwards of $6000 And give me a remanufactured unit! I was so disgusted with this. I called Shaw back and paid Shaw full price for him to come out here and install my brand new unit with a warranty top-of-the-line equipment! Yes! Shaw’s professionalism , Punctuality, knowledge, his willingness to explain to me the problem and what would happen if I patched my old unit I found it well worth the price to buy a brand new unit from him and know that I had peace of mind for years to come! Shaw went above and beyond any customer satisfaction that I have ever experienced! I’m glad to have met you, and I’m glad to have found me a trustable and reliable, heating and air-conditioning company!

Do yourself a favor and pick up the phone and call Shaw. Richard went above and beyond to get our ac working again after we got the delays and the run around from several of the big companies I’m sure you are all familiar with. This is a company you can trust will do what needs to be done, and at a very fair price. Richard really knows his stuff, and I’m glad I’ve now got Shaw as a resource to keep our hvac running and somebody we can count on in emergencies.

UPDATE 11/18/22: Just had the seasonal inspection, Stephen came over and did an insanely thorough inspection of our system. Detected several areas that needed attention and i opted to fix them. He did the fixes on the spot. Once again, great work, service, and fair price.

ANOTHER UPDATE 6/23:
Had another AC breakdown just as the weather is heating up. Richard offers to show up at 10:30pm on a Saturday night (after working all day on another customer) and worked until midnight to get the problem fixed. I can’t imagine any other service provider in the metro Atlanta area going to such lengths for a customer. And once again, the fee was beyond reasonable. Somebody give this dude a trophy.

Shaw Air is amazing. Richard is guaranteed to get the job done and truly takes care of the customer. I was having worries the issue wouldn’t get fixed smoothly and easy but Richard was able to handle and fix the unit within 20 minutes. That’s impressive… you won’t have a worry with Shaw Air because it is clear they will put the customers and people first! Their is no doubt in my mind who I will call whenever I have a hvac need! You will truly be taken care of…

Shaw Air is Amazing. Richard the owner, I met him almost a year ago when I was planning on getting my AC/HEAT installed and I knew instantly that he is the one! Due to personal issues I couldn’t continue the job until 1 year later. & I am truly satisfied with the work! Richard really goes above and beyond with all of his work and will make sure that the work is done NO MATTER WHAT. POINT BLANK PERIOD! He will do anything until you as a Customer are satisfied! I had a great experience with Shaw Air, very professional and responsive crew. Richard the Boss himself will show up for your job and do what he does best, My HVAC has been acting up for awhile costing me hundreds of dollars until we called Shaw . who had a diagnostic tests and found out we needed to change the who system, we did and we are now fine, I will recommend this business any day anytime.

Paid Shaw to install a mini split for us last Spring. He was highly responsive and quickly came to install the unit for us. We chose him over 2 other companies because of his responsiveness, warranty, and service contract.

9 months later- service contract was never honored, and it took 10 phone calls and over 3 weeks, and 2 no show appointments before having someone come look at it to see why it isn’t working. First we were told the unit was 230V and our power supply was incorrect (even though we paid for a 115v unit). Next we were told the condenser flooded and it needed to be replaced. Then radio silence.

Shaw is wonderfully responsive and quick to work on high laying installs, but if something goes wrong he will not fix it. Also don’t expect your service contract to be honored.

Hands down the best experience I have ever had with an air conditioning company. My air conditioner had stopped working and the day I called... Richard was out immediately. I needed a new AC unit, unfortunately, but it was a no brainer going with this company because of their professionalism and reasonable pricing. I had a new air conditioner installed that exact same day it blew me away (literally).. I am so grateful and thankful to have found this company what a blessing. Thank you so much for your hard work... I have already referred several of my neighbors to you And look forward to seeing you again in the future for my maintenance visits.

I had posted two previous reviews starting in April 2024 pertaining to an issue with one of my units installed by Shaw Air. I was asked by Richard Shaw to remove the reviews and the issue would be taken care of. After two visits from Mr Shaw my unit still has the same issue and all I have received is more excuses. At this point I have no confidence that Shaw Air can or will resolve the issue with my unit. It seems Richard Shaw is mainly concerned with receiving 5 star reviews.

Shaw Air was amazing! I got an email from my nest on Fri night, alerting me to an issue on our airbnb rental. Richard was able to get out there sat and had a new unit installed Sunday! So incredibly grateful for all his hard work to get that done for us asap! Not only that, but he did other kind things around the outside of the house, just to be nice!! I've never encountered such genuine kindness. Very grateful for his work and humanity:) Saved the day!

Richard is absolutely amazing! He was thoughtful, detailed-oriented, and sensitive to my situation. I learned a lot about my own home that I didn't understand after 20 years of ownership. I had the fortunate pleasure of hiring Richard and his team to install a new furnace and AC unit. The installation exceeded my expectations. My home was built in 1939 and furnace was located in the very tight crawl space. Richard and team carefully assessed the space and recommended the most appropriate replacement unit that would maximize efficiency when heating and cooling my home. Richard is absolutely amazing! Out of all the companies I called, Shaw Air was the ONLY company that followed up. Richard went above and beyond what I expected . He was genuinely concerned about the problems I been having with my AC. Richard tested out all the vents and did temperature checks before he left. Richard with Shaw Air came out and accessed the issue and made same day repairs. He was very personable, professional and dedicated to making sure my air conditioner was cooling properly. He even called later that evening to confirm the unit was still working properly. I would definitely recommend Shaw Air and be using them for future services.

I met with Richard Shaw the very next morning after our first conversation. He arrived on time, neat and very knowledgeable of his products. Now mind you, I spoke with six different companies four large companies and two smaller companies. After comparing price, punctuality, service and products Shaw was clearly a company I was willing to take a chance with. They showed up on time, got to work immediately explained everything in detail, replaced the HVAC unit and cleaned up everything after the job. The price was well below the lowest estimate and he still gave a military discount. OMG he even cleaned my dryer vent, it was a disaster, a bird nest was inside… who does that for a new client. It’s has been 24 hours and the system is working great. Can’t wait till about six months for us to install another new one in the basement thanks again Richard for being an awesome technician and owner. Hire this company you will not regret it.

Shaw Air has been my saving grace in my time of need. Mr. Richard Shaw the owner. And Mr. Kendrick put forth all efforts to make sure my Air conditioner and furnace was working correctly and installed nicely and neatly. Out of all the Ac company's. Shaw was reasonable and provided me with knowledge about all the systems needed to have a comfortable cool and heated house.

I highly recommend this company and its services! My AC unit was not turning on and I initially thought is was done. I contacted Shaw Home Services and made an appt for estimates to replace or repair. Even though I went with the repair, I will definitely contact to assist with replacement when the time comes because Richard was so professional, courteous and knowledgeable! He was respectful of my time and my home and completed the work in record time. Such a positive and easy experience! To sum it up, they went above and beyond to resolve the issues! So Rare in today's world.

Got so lucky with this company! Great people very polite and friendly with the children and the pets! Got my units installed at a great price could not have got a better deal! Everything after finished looked very professional and it’s running great! What surprised me the most was after they left it looked like they were never here. Very Clean! I recently had the misfortune of my heating furnace not igniting....very frustrated. Fortunately I found this company online and now I have a warm and cozy home. Richard Shaw was simply amazing, he worked diligently to determine the issue with my unit, told me what parts needed to be replaced and now my home is nice and warm. Furnace is working like a charm! Thank you Richard for taking care of my unit and for the kindness and HVAC education you showed my 10 yr old grandson; you showed kindness and professionalism and we appreciated that.
