Plumbing reviews in Norcross, Georgia

I'm very impressed with the entire Roto-Rooter team so far. My Christmas nightmare is much more bearable with their speedy and through response.
Kency was so professional and handled my plumbing issue expertly. He took the time to explain the repairs and was very kind despite having to wait for entry. I appreciate his work ethic and patience. -
Kency was great again!! Checking for the leak in my pipe, he discovered I needed a new PRV for my water heater and promptly took care of an issue I didn't know I had. Once again he answered all my questions so I could understand. I am so very grateful for his help and professionalism.

Jamie is a life saver. We had a bad storm come through and our sump pump gave out. Jamie showed up first thing in the morning and very professionally diagnosed the issue. Explaining in detail exactly what went wrong and how he was planning to go about fixing it. Within 2 hours he went and got all of the parts and had it installed. Once installed he took the time to walk me through what I should do if that problem were to ever happen again. Overall my experience with Jamie was top notch. Couldn’t be more thankful to no longer have water in my basement!

First of all, I was impressed by how quickly they showed up after my call. Vince and his helper quickly identified the problem and gave me a quote up front. They worked together together and had my kitchen sink unclogged. That, along with the advice on how to keep my sink clog free so I wouldn’t need to see him again was well worth a few hundred bucks for peace of mind. I have used roto-rooter many times in the past and have never been disappointed.

I scheduled a free home plumbing inspection with Roto-Rooter on March 4, 2026 after recently moving into a new house in January. I received an email confirmation stating the appointment was set for Saturday, March 7 with an arrival window of 12–1 PM.
No one showed up during that time window, and I didn’t receive any call or message explaining a delay. At 2:56 PM, I had to call them myself to see if anyone was still coming. The representative transferred me to dispatch, who said I was still on the schedule but they were running behind and would call when a technician became available. I waited around most of the afternoon expecting someone to show up on time, so it was frustrating that no one proactively notified me about the delay.
About 20 minutes later, I received a text asking if they could still come or if I wanted to reschedule. I confirmed they could come, and they said a technician would arrive in about 30–45 minutes.
When the technician arrived, I explained that we had just moved in and wanted the plumbing inspected. I also mentioned that our crawlspace was recently encapsulated and we started smelling sewage in the master shower, and that when we first ran the washing machine back in early January, one toilet bubbled and the shower briefly backed up, but it only happened once.
The technician immediately assumed it was a blockage and said he needed to go into the crawlspace, but that it would cost $155. I asked about the free inspection, and he said diagnosing the problem and going into the crawlspace was considered labor and wasn’t included.
He briefly walked to the master shower, quickly shined a flashlight into the drain for a few seconds, and then said he needed to go into the crawlspace to check further. Seemed like he wanted to guarantee he was at least getting $155. I agreed.
After about five minutes in the crawlspace, he came back and said the issue was that the shower drain didn’t have a P-trap installed. I asked if he could fix it that day and he said yes, then went to his van to prepare a quote.
He came back and quoted $745 to install the P-trap. When I said that was too expensive, the price quickly dropped to $700, then $600, then $500, and he asked what my budget was. I told him $300, but he said he couldn’t do it for that price, so I just paid the $155 labor charge and he left.
The most disappointing part is that the “free home inspection” was basically nonexistent. The technician didn’t check water pressure, didn’t inspect other fixtures, didn’t run faucets, and didn’t look at any other plumbing in the house. The only thing that happened was a quick look at the shower drain and a trip into the crawlspace.
After he left, I researched how to install a P-trap myself and bought the parts from Home Depot for about $32. I installed it myself without any issues.
Overall, the experience felt misleading and disappointing. The advertised “free inspection” didn’t actually include any real inspection, and the repair quote seemed extremely high for a very simple fix. -
We used Roto Rooter after a pipe broke behind the toilet. They were able to send someone within hours. Kency was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He was able to fix the issue quickly for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be calling them again for any future plumbing needs.

Response time was decent and the dispatcher was friendly but wouldn’t recommend calling this place. I had simple toilet clog and the technician that came out tried to charge $700 to snake to the street or $300 to remove the toilet without even attempting to plunge.
I only called think they would have a heavier duty plunger or a vacuum. I knew the clog wasn’t bad. Lost $50 for them coming out. Soon as he left I went back to trying it myself and got it unclog. Definitely false advertisement on affordability. Saw an ad for $100 repair which I would of paid willingly.
Only call if an absolute emergency and you are sure it’s the pipes and not the toilet. -
I initially contacted Roto Rooter and set appointment for 830pm to 930pm, it was 10pm no one had contacted me or had arrived. I called their dispatch and they informed me they were behind, I received a call around 11pm that they had to cancel. This was very frustrating, however after voicing my frustration, I was offered 10% discount to schedule for the next morning. This was not a good start and I wasn't happy, but I needed service ASAP.
Jamie with Roto Rooter arrived this morning and he was great and improved my image of the company. Jamie drove up and had noticed my Veteran license plate and informed me of the Veteran discount without me asking( i saw on website and was going to ask about it), which I thought was awesome and very thoughtful. Jamie was friendly and knowledgeable, explaining the process every step of the way. He definitely changed my thought of the company or at least 1 of the individual (him) that professionals are involved with the company, even with a shaky start with scheduling. Jamie thanks for your help and going over and beyond. If I ever need plumbing services, I will 100% request Jamie.
Five stars for Jamie.
Three stars for the scheduling/dispatch team. One critique, be careful scheduling late evening appointments they might not make it with a limited crew at those times. -
Chase and Christian were very experienced and professional. They went above and beyond to find and fix the leak in our exterior water supply line. The price was below other quotes. I highly recommend Chen Plumbing.

I called Chen Plumbing having discovered a 'wet patch' where there shouldn't be. Tim & Otto came out that day, found the leak (under the front of the house) and very quickly organised to have the whole front line replaced.
I could not have been more impressed with (a) how easy and quick it was to make an appointment, (b) how efficient and effective Tim was in diagnosing the problem and getting a digger out to our house *same day*, (c) how well oiled the admin team coordinated with Tim & Otto on the ground to make sure waiver docs were signed & everyone was clear on the quote etc. (d) how diligent Tim & Otto were in making sure the job was done and done right, and (e) how good their communication was with me (I had to leave for work in the middle, and got text messages to update me on the work progress).
When we moved in several years ago we were quoted a price to have the front line replaced - compared to that, what we paid Chen Plumbing was very affordable (Tim threw on a bunch of discounts that I guess I might've known about if I was collecting mail coupons).
I live in Tucker, and I also love that Tim is a local guy. Happy to support real local Atlanta business - the last 'local' business I called was actually based in Athens(!). Thank you Tim & Otto. It's a big weight off my mind! Looking forward to our water bills going back down again. I'll be using Chen Plumbing again. -
This was our first time using Chen Plumbing. Kevin Nguyen was prompt and courteous. He explained everything quite well and did a good job with repairs. We will recommend highly to friends.

Have used Chen Plumbing at our home and at our business (restaurant). They are always prompt, professional, and effective. Dawson was awesome!
-
Cody came out to repair a broken drain. He was able to discuss with me my options and get the repair done fairly quickly. Amazing!
-
It was an 4-hour job, fixed multiple plumbing issue at the residence. Really good experience. The technician Braulio did an excellent job, from explaining the issue to carrying out repair/replacement, while kept the site clean. The result is is what we are looking for.
-
Chen Plumbing is always our first call. We know we can trust their work, whether it's an install or repair. They are responsive, efficient, and deliver high-quality service. Everyone should have a plumber they trust!
-
We've used Chen Plumbing twice now! Awesome service both times. Friendly, informative, and very professional. Braulio and Brylen both did a great job.
We had a new water put in, our main supply valve replaced, and a rough in shower/tub valve replaced. I've already recommended them to our downstairs neighbors. -
Shane was great in terms of service, professionalism and being prompt. However the company is very pricey. Was charged $176 for a simple fix of a clogged garbage disposal that probably should have cost less than $100. I know next time to use YouTube first to try to figure it out.

I had three visits from Chen Plumbing. Cody was the first plumber to come over, and Dawson and an assistant came back for the second and third visits. We had to diagnose and fix an underground leak before our insurance would approve the work. Once the repair was approved, Dawson and the assistant returned to complete the job. Both of them were incredibly professional and left our home in better condition than when they arrived. I was pleasantly surprised by how they managed to keep our place clean during their visit, considering the repair was done under our kitchen floor. I am truly grateful to both of them, and they definitely deserve a raise!

One call was all it took!!
Mr.Chen responded immediately to coming out to give inspection & estimate. Returned as promised same day with crew & backhoe. Replaced 54 y.o. backup, cracked, and root-bound sewer line in just a few hrs.
I had read so many positive reviews for Tim Chin Plumbing on NextDoor and Google. We couldn’t be more grateful to Tim Chen and crew. I feel like I won the golden ticket!! -
It all start with a leaky spigot (inside of the wall) and ended promptly when Chen arrived.
Victor and his crewman did a great job, very quick with the estimate no nonsense. Best of 4 bids by nearly $500. Much higher quality replacement than was originally installed. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves and as any one who has had a plumber in their house knows that is a rare occurrence.
If you have plumbing needs I would highly recommend you start with Chen. -
My second experience with Chen Plumbing was as pleasant and seamless as the first. The plumbers are consistently professional, knowledgeable, and provide clear explanations of the issues and the solutions. Aside from that, they are also friendly and careful to leave the work area neat and clean. Immediately, you know that this is a company you can trust
