Woah!! Artem was above and beyond anything I have experienced or could have hoped for!
1) He picked up the phone call immediately and was available immediately (after I had not got someone to come to fix my fridge in 2 days!)
2) he never complained about working past his normal hours, nor did he mention any logistical details, always making me and also my tenants feel like his #1 priority
2) besides fixing my fridge, having the parts on hand, and being competitively cheap in his pricing he ALSO waited 20 mins for my tenant to come home so Artem could dissemble their dryer and confirm it needed replacing! He also offered to install the new dryer!
3) the next day Artem agreed to not only install the new dryer for my tenant, but he went all the way to Wahiaw to pickup a brand new dryer i had located on fb marketplace and he PAID CASH on my behalf to the seller and transported it back to honolulu for me! (Of course he was compensated, but he again made me feel like a queen amongst all the chaos!)
4) He shared his personal number and confirmed he was able to work and be contacted for appliance emergencies. What a stellar tech and business owner!

Julian from Honolulu appliance repair cracked the code on my Viking oven. When we purchased our new home the Viking oven was not working and now it is! After Julian did his initial assessment we ordered the parts and in a very short period of time the crew was back to our house to fix the oven. Julian and the crew expertly installed the required equipment and now we are up and running. I initially thought I could watch a YouTube video and do it myself…. No way! My technician Jen arrived a little early and I was really happy about that. She quickly assessed the situation of my Sub-Zero refrigerator freezer, she was able to get it to a point where it will last until I can get a new one. She was quite knowledgeable and helped me to understand that the Sub-Zero had lived the life that it was intended too. It was 23 years old! She also gave me five different places I could contact to start researching when I could get a replacement refrigerator freezer. I did call one of them and their technician is coming out to do exact measurements and get me on the list to get a new Sub-Zero as soon as possible. Not easy in this time of jammed up supply chains. So there was no time to waste. I really liked that Jen was completely honest with me. And didn't candy coat the situation. That is priceless in this day and age. I would recommend this company to anyone that has problems with an appliance that they service. I was only calling about my Sub-Zero, but now that I know that they service almost all of the major appliances that I have, they will be my go-to people that I contact for help! While they were able to come out and diagnose the issue with our Samsung washing machine within 24 hours, their service leaves a lot to be desired.

The staff we spoke to when scheduling the appointment were not friendly. For example, when they called back to give us a window for when the repair tech would arrive I told them I needed to check my work calendar to ensure that time worked for us. In response, I was informed that someone just needed to be at the house to let the tech in. The staff member seemed quite impatient and rude while waiting for me to check my work calendar to confirm the time worked for us.

When the tech arrived, he diagnosed the problem as a fried control board and claimed that "both boards" were bad and even had plastic melting on them. However, he did not show us the control boards. (After he left we took the machine apart and looked at the control boards and did not see melted plastic.) He quoted a ridiculously high price that basically told us we should just buy another washing machine. The work order invoice he left had no details on what the diagnosed issue was or which parts would need to be replaced. It contained only our name and address, brand of washing machine, and a price quote for the repair.

We thought about getting another repair company to come out and diagnose the issue with our washing machine to either confirm Honolulu Appliance Repair Pro's diagnosis or to see if it was possible to be repaired. But given we had already spent $150 for a tech to take 10 minutes to tell us we need to spend $750 on a repair, we figured we would just cut our losses and buy another washer and dryer set. (PSA: Samsung machine reliability is not good; we only had our washing machine for 6 years before it stopped working.)

This experience with Honolulu Appliance Repair Pro left a lot to be desired. We will definitely not be using them if we need appliance repair work in the future and we cannot recommend them due to their lackluster service.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT AFTER READING THE OTHER REVIEWS 4-5 STAR REVIEWS. Needed to have my broken washer repaired. Scheduled an appointment (for the afternoon) but tech called me to let me know he could not make the appointment due to work load and traffic. He apologized for missing the appointment and offered to reschedule for the following morning. While awaiting the following morning for my rescheduled appointment, the OFFICE (Honolulu Appliance Repair Pro) calls me apologizing for the missed appointment and this is when I'm told that only the OFFICE can schedule appointments. Apologies again from the OFFICE but offers to reschedule with a discount for the inconvenience. A new appointment is scheduled (in the afternoon). Came home early (missing work again) to wait for the tech. The appointment window came and went. No calls from the tech before the appointment nor from the OFFICE after leaving a message inquiring about the status of the appointment after the appointment window came and went. Fool me once, shame on you.. Fool me twice, shame on me. I'm placing a star reluctantly because its required to post the comment. After this experience. NOT WORTH A STAR..

Had 2 recent services from Honolulu Appliance Repair Pro. The service was excellent and the technicians were friendly and professional. My only problem is that the tech promised the part on a particular day and gave me a time he would return. I waited a couple of hours more and called. Turned out the part wasn't even in yet. Poor communication.

Addison immediately identified the problem with our washing machine and fixed it quickly after the repair parts arrived. He is professional also polite.

The 2 women I spoke to in the office are very, very rude! Michelle called after the rprman left asking if I wanted to schedule my washer. I told her I had called about my freezer, that she called the wrong person. She kept insisting I called about my washer! Rprman said to fup in abt a week if parts came in (need 3/8 water line). Again, another cocky person Ariana?, "well if no one called the part is not in, check in a week or 2". Mentioned rprman said the part is on island. Her reply was well the repairmen don't know if its here or has to be special ordered. Sheesh he showed me it was just a plastic water line! Called in a week still no part. Finally 3 weeks later, rprman comes out, discovers they gave him the wrong part, so he just cut the broken portion off and put in a connector! Waited 3 weeks for a connector, should've just put it it then! Repairman was really nice. Just saw the bill on my charge, they charged the full amount of the estimate. Will not use them again nor recommend to anyone!

Ok, so repairman was really nice, fixed my freezer, BUT, having to deal with the women in the office is TERRIBLE!!! they are rude! Not trying to make myself look good, just stating what I had to deal with.

After seeing the charges on my credit card, asked for a copy of the invoice. The invoice showed they were charging me for the part that was never installed and $222 labor along with the trip charge. Called the company back asking they refund me for the part. First they said $50, I said part charged was more, they came back with $110 because the repairman gave them the wrong part info and they couldn't return it, which I said is not my problem. After calling again they finally agreed to refund the full amount of the part. When I inquired about the high $222 labor charge they said that because I signed the estimate so that is their labor.

SO WHAT THIS COMPANY DOES IS ADJUST YOUR BILL UPWARDS TO EQUAL THE HIGH ESTIMATE YOU SIGNED ON!!!

Most reputable companies adjust and bill you fairly.
Please, please, check out this company on BBB first which I should have done, they are RATED "F"!

I don't recommend this repair company. My dryer broke so I had them come out to check it out. He was there only 20 minutes to check it out and they charged me $150 and then they said it would be +$350 to get the parts and repair it, that's a total of $500. I asked if I should buy new one and he said he think so, so I bought the new dryer. I felt really uncomfortable that I paid $150 for just checked snd nothing to be repair. Their services are too expensive for not solving the problem.

I can’t say enough good things about Honolulu Appliance Repair Pro. They were very professional, knowledgeable about the appliances(washer and dryer), and willing to work quickly with our schedule. They explained what needed to be done as well as the cost. In addition to the great service, they were so affordable. A few days after the repair was complete, they even called to follow up on the service. Thank you!!
