Brian and Nani are great. We have a washer/dryer combo and the washer is having some issues. They came by and unfortunately the washer cannot be fixed. Brian gave us a recommendation on what to buy and who to buy it from (LG/Best Buy). They were so kind and didn't charge us for their time and expertise. Really good people. I highly recommend them.

I am so happy with Goodwin Appliance Repair. FINALLY a good repair experience. I called and got a next day appointment, he arrived on time, and within an hour had the problem fixed, all for a reasonable amount. The last time someone worked on my dryer he had to order parts and I had to go without a dryer for a month (and had to pay for two service calls). Goodwin only works on washers and dryers and it seems that he must carry a lot of the parts in his vehicle because he was able to replace the parts on the spot. On top of it, he didn't charge an arm and a leg for the parts - just a reasonable amount. Another thing that I thought was funny was that the last repairman complained that there wasn't more space around my dryer, but when Goodwin arrived, he commented that it was great that I had space around my dryer, lol. I couldn't recommend him more highly. Polite, punctual, knowledgeable, cheerful, and very reasonable prices. I will definitely call again.

I called and left a message on Monday and Brian called back promptly. We scheduled an appointment for the following day. Brian was early, finished quickly, and charged $125 plus tax for the repair. As he was finishing, we mentioned the washing machine was having issues as well, but we had been quoted almost $800 to repair it so we were planning to get rid of it. Brian asked a few questions, recognized the issue almost immediately, and got a quote for parts and labor. He let us know the parts were less than $70 versus $600 that the other repair company quoted us. Brian and his wife will be back tomorrow to finish repairing our washer.
10/10! I highly recommend Brian and his wife!

A Rare Find...

First off Brian didn't get to even work on my washer. But if you'd like to know why I wrote a review, here is my review.
1) I called Brian about an our before his closing time and received a call back in under 30 minutes(PLUS 1). Usually its hard to get someone to answer close to closing let alone a call back.
2) After confirming the appointment, the make and model. I informed Brian that I had taken a look under the machine and removed the motor and pump to check if the problem was the coupler which it wasn't. He asked a few questions which I confirmed and it was his recommendation to not fix the machine as it would need a new transmission, motor and possibly a few other parts(PLUS 3). He knew by my description and his knowledge what was wrong. He then did what I haven't encountered from but a few businesses, He recommended I put the money for the repair on a NEW or USED machine. He recommended ROSS appliance if I wanted to stick to the older models that were good for DO-IT-YOUR-SELFER's.
3) Finally he was honest and humble in my opinion and did not ask for this review, But the reviews left by others only confirm what I experienced. while I have been quoted hourly rates from a few other repair services, Brian quoted a flat rate plus parts. (PLUS 1)

As a business owner myself I was impressed, Brian is a rare find and is now in my contacts under APPLIANCE REPAIR.

Brian & Nani were very responsive when I called, came on time the next day, brought parts for my LG dryer & changed everything to make it like new again. They vacuumed all the lint out of everything & went under the house to check the vent there too. The dryer has a slight rattle but is working well. They said one year warranty. Would use them again & highly recommend.

I highly recommend Brian and Nani. They were prompt, professional, and honest. My washer was having issues and Brian diagnosed the problem very quickly. Unfortunately, my washer could not be fixed. Brian gave me a recommendation on what to buy and what to look for if buying a used washer. I also had issues with my dryer that I had forgotten to tell them when making the appointment. They offered to look up the part and come back to fix the dryer another day. They were generous and did not charge us for their time. I will definitely call them again if I have issues with my washer/dryer! Thank you again!

It is rare that I feel compelled to write a Google review, but Brian and Nani are such kind, amazing, honest, professional business people that I just have to. (FYI, they didn't even ask for a review).

When I called, there was a voice message that was kind of an "FAQ" with important information. It is important to listen to the whole thing because the first time I called, it said NOT to leave a message that day, but to call back on Wednesday to schedule appointments for Thursday, Friday or Saturday. So that's what I did. I left a message with my name, issue and phone number first thing Wednesday morning and received a text back within a few minutes and we confirmed an appointment for the next day (today). Super simple!

Brian and his sweet wife, Nani, showed up exactly at the scheduled time and quickly diagnosed the problem. He unfortunately didn't have the part in his van (though he has many, many parts!) but found it online and said he could order it at a very reasonable price and it would be here next week. We were going to pay them for the visit, but Brian said there was no charge unless/until they fix it! Amazing. It was an absolute pleasure meeting and working with them. Thank you to all the reviewers before me for leading me to this great company!

This review is late since Brian and his wife Nani came to service our washer on 3/25/22. However, excellent work needs to be recognized.

First of all, I hate it when things break down. Unless you already know someone, it requires research trying to find the right one among the many businesses found on a Google search. Then once you choose one, you hope you made a good choice.

I chose Goodwin Appliance Repair based on the reviews. Brian lived up to those reviews. He returned my call promptly. We discussed what was wrong with the washer and scheduled an appointment.

Brian and Nani arrived promptly and went right to work. He quickly figured out what needed to be done. We thought the repair might be delayed because Brian didn’t think he had the part. Long story short, Brian located the part and finished the repair in less than 30 minutes.

Brian and Nani are a great team - prompt, professional, and very pleasant. Price is reasonable too. I would definitely use their services again. It’s too bad they only do washer/dryer repair because I would have definitely called them for other repairs.

Brian and Nani were friendly and quick in the repair. My Samsung dryer’s part was not available in store, so Brian sent me a link to order it to my house. I highly recommend their service!

Our washer started violently bouncing around during spin cycles. Gave Brian a call, and his knowledge of washer and dryer repair is so extensive, he already knew what the problem was by me just explaining it. Incredibly friendly over the phone too. He charges a flat rate, which is very reasonable, and the cost of the part itself.

The day of the servicing, he kept great communication on when he'd be arriving. Brian and his wife (sorry we never got your name!) showed up exactly when he said he would. They were both very polite, and they finished the repair in no time at all! He also communicated that the part they installed has a 1 year warranty, so if anything goes wrong, they'll do the repairs for free--which I really appreciate.

I could not be happier with my experience with Brian and his work. I highly recommend Goodwin Appliance Repair, and I will call him for all my future washer and dryer repair needs!

Called other appliance co they were demanding and pushy. I found and Goodwin Appliance specialist in washer and dryer. Brian responded quickly to my message, Brian and Nani were professional

I text messaged them and ask for a evaluation, they said $100 plus parts. I looked around & that is at or Below market value. They exceeded expectations by coming early, knowing exactly how to check my dryer, Showing me the problem & proving it was the issue, having the part with them, charging me basically online price for having the right part in hand.
Then changing it quickly & ensuring it worked. They even changed something that would possibly go wrong in the future for only $15.00.
Online the parts are the same price.

They were straight up good humans doing good work.

I am so happy & I will tell everyone I know about them.

It's not often you find a company that is as responsible, knowledgeable, and abundantly fair. We've had the pleasure over the past 10 years to have them come out and service our LG washer and dryer. I cannot sing their praises high enough. When our dryer wasn't starting because I thought it was the door switch, they came out and determined it was the hinges. The parts are no longer stocked and Brian did his best to bend them back into place. They did this for us complimentary (no charge).
I give them our highest recommendations call them now you won't be disappointed.

They were 15 minutes early for our appointment.
Friendly, perfect communication, and was able diagnose my washers problem immediately.
They did a full examination and found other hidden problems.
Suggested a washer replacement instead of repairing as the repairs would cost as much as a new washer.
Could have charged us for the repair knowing it would have more problems, but didn’t. Also, they didn’t charge me for the service callout and diagnosis!

The reviews are accurate. Brian and Nani are the best team ever! Our dryer popped and then wouldn't stay on. I text the situation and within two hours had the next day appointment scheduled. They even changed the time to allow our family to make it to our daughter's basketball game. The cost was a flat rate of $205 like the message said and the cost of parts. They fixed the problem in 15 minutes! Wow! Super Grateful! 🙏 💞
