This company is COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL, I wanted to repair my stove and when I called this company on the phone I specifically stated my stove brand name and model number and the exact problem and what's wrong with it. Guy comes out only to "diagnose" my problem which I already know and telling us the obvious. Then offers us a repair that's as much as a new stove top, and tells us to just buy another one. Then charges us $90 for absolutely NOTHING, NO SERVICE has been done and it was a complete waste of time and money. The guy didn't even disassemble the stove because you can tell the problem without having to do that. So he did absolutely NOTHING just fiddling around the stove and the drawer. At the end of the day, the problem is still there, and I paid for a service that was never done. I do not recommend you hire this company for your repairs, as you will be charged useless fees for imaginary "services" that were never done. I will be taking further steps to get my money back, and I am considering filing a consumer complaint.

Rene came by during the time window I was given. I even got a text with an ETA when he was on his way. It was a basic call, and I wasn't told I needed unnecessary repairs or services.

Major Appliance Repair had a difficult task at repairing our stubborn refrigerator. I truly appreciate their professionalism and service in doing so. Would definitely recommend using them.

My old property management called these guys to fix my fridge french door center flap. The flap was not catching the track, so, not sealing the seam between the french doors.

The tech said he couldn't fix it and the part is unavailable.

Tech did not specify what he did to troubleshoot, what part is not available, did not provide any part numbers for reference, just said, to paraphrase, 'can't be fixed, no part availble, that'll be $75"

I'd get fired at my job, which involves fixing things, if I told my peers and managers things can't be fixed without further description.

Turns out it Is fixable. EASILY fixable. With parts provided with the purchase- little 3/4 washers - no tools required even. Just lift thr door up vertically side a spacer on the hinge/pivot, and add as many spacers as you need so the center flap catches the track and seals the gap.

Not only this

But my property management had these guys come out to service a Samsung washer.

There is only one company in Boise eith Samsung certified easher technicians. It's not MARS. The technician sent says it is some sensor, replaces it.

3 months go by. Tenant was out of country since the repair. I now manage the property myself.

Tenant returns from their long work trip. Complains a few months later, again, about the washer not washing properly, and that they are not even sure if it was fixed last time because they had to leave town - but it's not working now.

OK. No prob. I get referred to a certified Samsung washer technician, we book the repair. I show up too. Samsung tech runs two diagnostics - washer is fine. Calls Samsung support, we have them walk us through as well - machine is running fine, despite tensnt complaint. Samsung inquires what was fixed/replaced by the last technician, and I said X part, because I had the previous invoice handy at the time. Samsung technician replies, 'I've been doing this 7 years, and have never seen that part go bad.'
On top of nothing being wrong with the washer, deslite tenant complaint of the same issue MARS replaced a part and charged labor to fix, weren't certified to fix, and my certified tech has says he has mever seen an issue with in 7 years. SUSPICIOUS.

Praytell, how was the issue solved then?

Turns out the tenant was packing the washer to the brim eith three weeks+ of clothes, and running it on the delicate/super efficients cycle - and complaining about his clothes not being cleaned properly.
He didn't understand, you can save the environment, or, have clean clothes. Don't load it to the brim - multiple loads eith the normal wash cycle.

Tenants are idiots.

But MARS are crooks.

Manufacturing problems, not being able to fix issues which are literally spelled out in the user manual with parts included that don't even rewuire tools, and quite possibly replacing parts which weren't faulty to begin with.

Stay far away from this company.
