Have used MARS for over 20 years because I trust them. I find their honesty and them not trying to upsell me when it’s something minor refreshing. And if the repair will be more than investing in a new appliance then that’s the advice they give. Most recently this happened with my fridge so when I had to buy a new one I called for advice on manufacturers and am so grateful for that advice and explanation for the recommendation.

Prompt, reasonable, courteous. Excellent service knowledge. Local company. I love them.

We had trouble with the dryer putting out only warm air and shutting off pretty quickly.
I called at 08:00 in the morning and the repair person was here at noon!! Pretty amazing!
He immediately pinpointed the problem with the vent on the outside. The flap was clogged. We appreciate the thorough and friendly service . -
Fixed my grandma's refrigerator when it stopped working. She is on a fixed income and they gave her a good price.

If I could give it less stars I would... unfortunately the issue could have been solved very easily. This company wants you to pay for the repairs up front before any work is done. I was hesitant but paid the money anyways. My tv was 6 years old and they were no longer able to find the parts for it, not they're fault it is what it is, but they refused to give me my money back for a repair that never happened. I spoke with the receptionist and the manager for 20 minutes just trying to recoup my loss of money that they basically stole. I'm without a tv and 150 dollars. DON'T USE THIS BUSINESS I'M TALKING TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU TO RECTIFY THIS SITUATION.

The biggest rip off ever first got mud all over my carpet, then demanded a payment up front, after spending 150.00 on a service call, and 125.00 for a board the tv did not need my tv still was left not working. i have yet to receive a refund for any of it. so i was forced to call someone else and found a man on craigslist who offered no repair no charge he come to my house took it apart on my floor said it was 2 caps got it from his truck fixed the tv and charged me 40.00 if you would like his number message me

Samsung screen broke and Telco was very helpful suggesting I call the company even though the TV warranty had expired. Samsung honored it and paid to have it replaced given that it was less than two years old.

Had Telco out for warranty work on my Samsung washing machine. Clint was super helpful very thorough made every effort to diagnose the problem definitely will call them again.

I had a refrigeration problem, no cold air was getting through to the refrigator. Because of an ice maker problem. We changed the filter and solved that problem. But the damage was already done, water went into the vent an froze up. I thought this company Sears used was unprofessional ! The car he came in was not marked, his shirt was not labeled, his bag of tools, all had no logos of where he was from. I new right off what the problem was and asked him to check it he said, he had seen this problem before ,but he dad not seen my problem. He said more or less he didn't want to do it by his lazy actions. He said to unplug the refrigator open the doors and freezer For four days and let all my ice cream and meat thaw and spoil. As I had no where to put them. My husband took it apart and the problem was not to bad, the coils were not frozen. We put boiling water down it to the drip pan and that fixed the problem, why couldn't he have done that, he was just lazy and didn't want to do the job. My husband is a day sleeper and drives truck at night, so this put a hardship on him ! This makes me not want to buy Kenmore any more, or an extended! Sorry Sears, you used to service your products yourself, you have really on down hill!

I haven't had to use the services of Telco Electronics (yet) but just contacted them with questions regarding repair on Samsung TV. I was so impressed with help/service I received on the phone and will gladly take my service needs to them. Exceptional phone customer service. THANKS!

For television repair in Boise, highly recommend Glen and the team. I brought my LCD TV made by LG into for a diagnostics because it was constantly getting errors. I tried resetting and calling the mfg, but nothing. Glen thought it could be an expensive main board, but no, he tweaked a couple items and boom- fixed for only $50!

Their service representative was very knowledgeable and friendly. He answered any and all questions I had regarding my refrigerator. He took the extra care to ensure all of the seals and everything was replaced. He did a great job in a quick and expedient manner.

I brought in a power supply board from a 9 yr old Samsung plasma TV because I knew it was bad (blown fuse, dead short measured with an ohmmeter) and dreading the cost of a replacement or repair. Shane heard me talking to the receptionist and came out to take the board back to his bench for a quick diagnosis. After only a few minutes, he came back with the board and his own meter, and demonstrated that -- with one solder connection removed to break the connection -- *both* output FETS were shorted. He explained the typical mechanism that causes it and what else was likely damaged. He also explained that while he would replace the FETS if he could get the parts (unlikely), he wouldn't even be able identify the other components that might be bad because they're those tiny surface-mount components about half the size of a grain of rice without visible markings. When I asked about replacing the board, he showed me a printed screen-shot from the Samsung web site that showed it couldn't be ordered any longer. As I was about to lose hope, he was ready with a second screen shot from a depot repair company located in the midwest he knew of that would charge a flat fee to repair the board, showing the correct part number and the price. As a former electronic technician for Hewlett Packard, I knew that everything he told me was straight up and correct. I was especially impressed that he explained everything, and was able to offer me a solution that didn't net him a penny. He even refused payment for his time ("it was only one solder joint"). So, I am writing this to encourage anyone that needs quality, HONEST electronic repair services to use Telco. I just wished I hadn't wasted my time on the phone with the other guys I found on-line (the ones with 'electronics' in their name or members of a squad)...

This is a HONEST and RESPONSIBLE company. I made an inquiry regarding our television and the technician was honest, upfront, and saved me money and time. I received an immediate, professional response that answered my questions completely. I have worked with them since the 80s and have ALWAYS had positive encounters. You can't go wrong entrusting your electronic needs to Telco. I just can't refer them highly enough! A+++++

I read all the reviews, and, based on them, will be taking some vintage electronics to Telco. I find that when there are numerous five-star reviews, and then suddenly there is a one-star, a red flag goes up. For Telco to have as many positive reviews as it has, tells me they are top drawer people. From my perspective, the one-star reviews are not worth reading. unless there are some 3 and 4 star ratings along with them. I haven't been there yet, but after I have been, I will post another review, which I am sure, will be very high. I know - my opionion. But based on experience. Thanks in advance, Telco.

This right here is what service should be! My Samsung washer had a recall and this is the company contracted to fix said recall. I cant say enough good about the both the office/scheduling and the service man. There was a mishap with scheduling thru Samsung online and instead of them getting an attitude and being rude to me (which has become the norm anymore) they went out of their way to send someone up to Valley County from Boise in a timely manner. Not only did they show up when they said they would, the service man was kind, courteous and went out of his way to explain what was wrong and even ordered the parts and will be coming back up with parts to install.
In a world where everyone is in such a hurry (myself included) and worried about themselves, it's nice to have some old school integrity and folks who seem to enjoy and care about what they do.
Thanks again guys!!! -
Wow! Jessica called an hour ahead to ask if we would be home. She showed up right on time, was super friendly, answered all of my questions, AND fixed our stove. She is amazing and I would ask for her if I needed anything else done. THANK YOU Jessica, we appreciate it!! :)
