I just want to share what a great customer experience I had in seeking a replacement switch for my air compressor. I spoke
with Rob on the phone and thought It was the part I needed. When I arrived I saw that it would not work. But his knowledge and customer service was top shelf. My compressor is fixed and I would recommend Grovers to anyone.

Grover's is one of the rare places in this world that I enter with a smile - knowing I'll enjoy my visit - and leave with a smile because they always have what I need, and the experience is so pleasant. Unmatched customer service.

All I needed were a couple tiny gaskets for a leaky tap. The associate not only replaced them on the threads, but took the time to grease it, too! They don't have to do that, but I left knowing it was done right :)

Everyone in this store does a great job except one older bald gentleman that I seem to routinely get assisted by. He is there very regularly and two different times this week he has sent me out the door with the wrong parts. Seems like doesnt pay enough attention to the photos or pieces that I bring in so I have to make a second trip and end up sorting it out myself. Everyone else that has helped me in the past at this location was great and was more than willing to spend a couple minutes helping me.

Very good plumbing supply store in the Boise area. Great quality brands of PVC and ABS DWV fittings. Grovers have gotten much better now in 2024 and 2025.

Went in looking for a gasket to fit the water supply to a bathroom sink. Was advised they don’t carry gaskets. I don’t know why a plumbing store wouldn’t have such a basic item but they referred me to Standard Plumbing

I ordered an LG Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve online and it arrived with 3 of the hose connections still having remnants of the original hoses stuck inside so I was unable to insert the hoses already on the fridge into the connections to complete the installation of the new valve. I went to Grover in Boise for help getting the remnants of the hosing left in the new part and it was among the top decisions I’ve made. Not only did they care, but Mack brought out small tools that were able to reach inside the hose connections and we together were able to remove those pesky little pieces. Mack is so awesome and I really hope he’s blessed or promoted soon for both his knowledge and superior customer service! The fridge I installed the valve on works great as a result of Mack’s help. Don’t go anywhere else if you want personalized plumbing or electrical help. 5/5 or 10/10👍🏼👍🏼

Returned some plumbing parts and the store manager was extremely rude and short. For being the store manager, his attitude and business etiquette sucks. If something can’t be returned just say so. No reason to get an attitude just cause you’re having a bad day.

Don't waste your time going to the big box stores. Take pictures of your plumbing or electrical issues (or bring in the bad parts) and bring them to the experts at Grovers. You'll save time returning the wrong parts and get even more advise/tips than you expected. The guys behind the counter are well versed in plumbing and electrical issues. 10/10 recommend.

I have searched many retailers and supply shops looking for a solution to a plumbing challenge.

I finally made my way down to Grover’s, and arrived before they were open. As I sat in my truck waiting for opening, I was surprised when a gentleman opened the door and waived me in. He then took great care to understand my challenge and helped to find a solution.

Rob, thank you so much for being so friendly, helpful, and for being the reason my Friday will be great! Your customer service was EXCEPTIONAL!

I highly recommend starting at Grover’s for any household projects. Even if they don’t happen to have something you may be looking for, I have full confidence that they will be able to point you in the right direction.

Stopped by today to fix an issue the expansion tank on my hot water heater. I was greeted by Michael and he took the time to talk me through step by step on what I needed to fix the issue. Super nice guy. Over the top service. Thanks again.

We purchased a water softener about a year ago. It worked great until a salt bridge formed. Once we fixed that, we just couldn't get it working. I called Grover's to see if they had a plumber they could recommend. I spoke with Rob. He gave me some great suggestions, which included contacting the manufacturer for support. Sure enough, the water softener is working great again and it didn't cost me a penny! Great customer service!!! Thanks Rob!

Michael was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely eager to help. He took the time to understand exactly what we needed, explained our options clearly, and even gave us a few helpful tips with regard to our bathroom sink not properly draining. It's rare to find someone who not only knows their stuff but also cares about customer service at that level. Thank you, Michael!!

Grover’s is our Go-To place for all our electrical and plumbing needs. All their employees are knowledgeable and offer good advice on our project and on the products they offer.
One employee has been exceptional! Janeen (at the Boise store) has always provided us with excellent customer service. She assisted us in planning and purchasing all the lighting for our kitchen remodel. She was respectful, friendly, fun and professional. We were very happy with the outcome and the pricing of the products. Everyone compliments us on our new lighting! To sum up our experience, we would highly recommend Janeen for consideration of a raise!!! She is so valuable to your customers.

I love this business. I’m a total zero when it comes to home repair but the staff at Grover’s got me through my kitchen sink faucet replacement. They had everything I needed - the faucet, supply line extenders, and the adapter thingy so the new faucet still connects to my free standing Kenmore dishwasher. They are so patient and so knowledgeable. Truly a community resource!

Bought a small transformer for doorbell and try to return it at the Boise location and told me since their computers are not tied in together to their Nampa store they couldn't return my item it's 2026 what companies nowadays don't have the electronics systems in order? you guys need to figure this out, it is inconvenient to travel to another city to return a small item.

Phenomenal customer service! Knowledgeable and explained things well and to my level (didn't talk town to me - as a female that was nice).

Totally will go here for any electrical, plumbing, or fixture needs from here out.

Also - well priced and LOCAL!

I had a leaking frost proof facet. I called a plumbing company to get an estimate. They wanted almost $200 to come out and give me a free estimate. I went to Grover's because they have very knowledgeable employees. The person that helped me grabbed an gasket repair kit and a frost proof facet similar to mine. He took me to a work bench and showed me, step by step, what I need to do. I was able to repair the leak. It cost me around $6 dollars for the repair kit and saved me hundreds of dollars.

Thank you to Merle for talking me through how to replace my broken hose bib with a pex loop. He walked me through the process and showed me what parts I needed. A plumbing company quoted me almost $500 to replace the spigot. I was able to replace it with $100 of materials in about an hour of time. Thank you so much for your help, Merle!

My husband wanted me to give a shout out to Zach at Grovers for, not only diagnosing the problem we had, but his tool recommendation was spot on. You can never go wrong here at Grovers. Exceptional customer service!

Most of the time I’ve been in, the employees are helpful and knowledgeable.

However, I’ve also been treated with some underhanded snarky remarks when I lamented they didn’t have the common irrigation part I needed. Tony said, “You should go to an irrigation store then.” Gave me a big fake smile and then walked away. I don’t know if he thought I wouldn’t pick up on his condescension or not, but I’m disinclined to ever return.
