Grovers Pay and Pack is an exceptionally great store. For many years I have received expert advice and quality equipment here. The staff are remarkably knowledgeable and helpful to a do-it-yourselfer like me. They have assisted me with numerous electrical upgrades, and the installation of sprinkler systems for 5 different yards. Thank you, Grovers!

I went to Home Depot to get circuit breaker for my home. They didn’t carry the one I needed because it was too old. So they referred me to Grover’s.
I went to Grover’s in Boise and walked in. I quickly found the circuit breakers and proceeded to find the right one. I found it! …along with its price of $90.99!! REALLY?!? Are these guys serious?!?!?! I assumed it must be a mistake so I went to the service counter where I had to take a number even though there was nobody in line. Whatever. So I asked the lady there if she could double check the price and if they do price matching with competitors. She couldn’t answer either question, so she called a “salesman”. This guy arrived… and without greeting me, just gave me a dead stare and waited for me to do the talking. Now, I’ll remind my readers and followers that I have over 30 years of experience in working with the public and have trained many others on how to provide the very best customer service. Well, this guy either didn’t ever get any proper training or didn’t give a rat’s furry butt about his job, myself or my need for a breaker. Zero manners…and judging by his age, he was probably a manager ( which would explain his reason for not seeing it necessary to be polite). What a shame. So I left empty-handed and found what I needed on Amazon for $39.99. THAT’S LESS THAN HALF THEIR PRICE!!!! Hmmmm I see how they do business.
I guess I look too young for my own good because this is not the first time that I’ve been taken for “some young buck who’s got nothing better to do than to waste someone else’s time”. (He was probably like three to five years older than me).
Anyhow, I give this place a big thumbs down and recommend that everyone just stick with Home Depot or online stores.

I was at Grovers today to replace my well pump. Micheal helped me. He was so knowledgeable, and all the information he gave me was exceptional. I listened to all he said, got the needed replacement parts and was able to get my well up and running within a few hours. Thank you!

This place is so very awesome. They have just about everything for your plumbing and or electrical. They run a very professional store with staff that knows their business. I have shopped here before and I support local business as when you shop at a local business the currency spent here turns over 7 times in our community so shop and keep our money here.

1-8-2026 Grovers ALWAYS delivers!!!!! Great store and helpful people. No reason to go anywhere else. Today, I met Rob - a Grover's Representative - WOW. Friendly, listened to my needs, open-minded, found all the parts I needed - water filter canister, filter, special fittings, faucet, plastic hose, stainless hose, silicone, etc. Rob showed me how to assemble all the parts and then Rob recommended that I take a photo of the assembly on the counter. SO glad he did. This process would have taken me days, and multiple trips, if I had gone anywhere else. Rob was absolutely fantastic, awesome experience and knows exactly where everything is in his store. What a FANTASTIC representative for Grovers! I will be back and only recommend Grover's because of Robs service. Just OUTSTANDING in every way. Thank you very much Rob.

I had a great experience at Grover’s Pay & Pack Electric & Plumbing Supply Co. Michael was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when I came in trying to replacing my kitchen drain pipes. I brought the old pipes in with me in a bucket, and he took the time to look everything over, match the parts, and explain what I was dealing with.

Instead of just replacing the exact same setup, he actually helped me build a better, cleaner drain system that would work more reliably. That kind of practical knowledge is hard to find.

It’s refreshing to go to a place where the staff really understand plumbing and take the time to help you solve the problem. Thanks to Michael, the repair went smoothly. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re tackling a plumbing project and want real expert advice.
