We used Viking a few years ago for a leak under the house. They were the only place that answered the phone at 5 am and came out right away. So when we had a few projects to do, we didn’t hesitate to call them again! They came out and did a free estimate. They were able to work with my schedule and came out on time. Johnny was great! A simple job of swapping out bathroom faucets got complicated when we found the contractor had mounted the sink so it covered half of the faucet holes! Long story but we tried 3 different faucets to see if they’d work. Johnny finally had to modify one to get it to work. Otherwise I’d be replacing the vanity top! So helpful and friendly!
When we had another project pop up a few weeks later, I gave them a call again. Again, scheduling was great, Wyatt was on time and did a terrific job and super friendly!
I’ve recommended them and will continue doing that!!

Viking Plumbing scheduled me as quickly as they could. They had to work around my planned trip. Dustin arrived on time, looked at the issues, gave me a quote, and fixed the issues with no problems. He was professional and answered all my questions. He did not charge me for a couple of items (easy DIY items). I was selling my house and was able to fix the items the buyers asked me to correct.

This company is great! They answer their phones, the prices are reasonable and customer service is top notch. I had a cracked back flow which was not only replaced/repaired, but Wyatt the serviceman is very knowledgeable and polite. I cannot give enough praise. Thank you again Viking!

Received 5 star service and installation of a new Kohler kitchen sink. Bill was prompt with pricing and scheduling and Wyatt did a phenomenal job at our house. Highly recommend Viking!

I called Viking today at 4:04 with a non-operable garbage disposal. Wyatt was on his way home and offered to drop by. From the moment he arrived until he left (under 1 hour) he was pleasant, knowledgeable and got to the heart of the issue and even cleaned up everything.

Viking Plumbing has always been exceptional I requested to learn and Dustin explained what he was doing and why every step of the way. He even elaborated on some things to help me be a better care taker of my plumbing. Great service as always!

We were out of the country when our house-sitter called to tell us the hot water was coming out brown! I immediately contacted Bill with Viking and they quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced our water heater within 24 hours. Everything was right back in order. The service was prompt and professional, everyone was courteous, and every area they worked in was left clean. They are great!

Fantastic Service!! I had Jose from Viking Plumbing come for an emergency water leak and he was amazing. Quick, efficient, friendly and helpful! He knew what he was doing and got the job done right and even cleaned everything up. I really appreciate this level of service here in the Treasure Valley. I'd give 10 stars if I could!

I tired replacing the drain stopper but ended up unscrewing part of the drain pipes causing water to leak in our crawl space. I contacted Viking Plumbing and they took care of it within 24 hours! They replaced the waste and overflow quickly so we could use our master bath again. Great quality work at a fair price! The first picture is the damage I caused by trying to remove the old drain stopper and put a new one in. The second picture is the repair job Viking Plumbing did!

March 2023-
I called Viking because my main line was clogged. Turns out tree roots were the culprit. I feel taken advantage of by this company because I am a single female who doesn't know better. They trashed my house, ruined my yard, their communication was terrible, and they are refusing to do anything about it. My street and yard are embarassing. There is mud all over the sidewalk, street, and they even tracked it all over my house and didn't attempt to clean it up. They left my toliet in my bathtub and I had to ask them to reinstall it. They cut my neighbor's powerline and their power went out. My neighbor had to call me to tell me what was going on because the company didn't give me a heads up. I spoke to the owner, Bill, and he could care less about my complaints. If you are thinking of using this company, think again. You will get taken advantage of and become the laughing stock of the neighborhood. Shame on them. I am seriously at a loss and I can't believe a company would treat someone this way.

Update 10/5/23-
Please observe the date of my review and the date Viking finally replied…SIX MONTHS later I finally received a lengthy response. The response is also dishonest, they never offered to fix my lawn. I had to pay a landscaper approximately $1000 to fix it. If they cared, surely they could have responded before now and taken action. They did nothing. Responding half a year later is insulting and an attempt to save face on the internet. Pay me back the money it cost to fix my lawn and then you can consider this resolved and I will edit my review.
I also submitted a BBB complaint which they didn’t reply to AT ALL, even though as an accredited business they are required to reply.

All Star is Boise area's best. They are always on time, courteous and friendly. They prioritize serving customers over making a fast buck. They've done large and small jobs for us and we've always been extremely satisfied.

Have been without plumbing for 5 days, these jokers were sent out. Showed up 1 1/2 hours late then said he needed to go get a different tool and would be back. Instead said that the line needs dug up in yard after being here for only 10 minutes. He never even looked in a drain. Now I have to wait even longer. Also, one of their people was out yesterday morning and said they would probably need to do the same thing, so why wasn’t this guy prepared for that? He showed up with a snake that was too large for normal household plumbing and was planning on just snaking the drain but then without even attempting to do anything he decided we need to replace pipe. I guess these guys are psychic or something. I am only allowing them to come back because I rent and this is who the property manager called.

On April 16, 2019, C came to check under sink water leak. The Garbage disposal was changed out. We paid for that.
On April 17, C attempted to snake copper tubing through the plastic line...sure, no problem. It did not work. We paid an extra 125 dollars for that.
On April 24th, we used our dishwasher for the first time. Suds and water overflowed onto the floor.
On April 25th, C came back and removed the plastic “knock out” on the garbage disposal that allows water to drain into the garbage disposal and then to the sewer line. No written invoice was given to us to tell what he did, although he used a hammer to beat the knock out from the disposal. Suds and water is still over flowing onto the floor. Called to speak to Brian. Haven’t received phone call yet. C is a nice young man. Everyone makes mistakes. We are not angry with him.
We did not have problems with water overflow from our dishwasher before all this happened.

Same issue as many of the other people with this company. Jennifer sets up appointments and no one shows up, she claims plumbers will call and no one calls, you have to constantly call her to get service if you actually get service. This place is highly unprofessional!! Do not recommend.

It began as a typical Saturday morning, but all of that was about to change. One of a homeowner’s worst nightmares had happened: I discovered a hot water line in the crawlspace that had been leaking for over a week. After I discovered it, I immediately turned off the hot water and then began searching for someone to help. I found All Star Plumbing and Restoration while doing a Google search; checked their reviews, and decided to give them a call: they arrived in less than an hour!
Tyler arrived and went down into the humid swamp-like crawlspace and quickly discovered the problem. However, when he came back up, he had some other, more distressing news to give me. He stated that the joists and insulation were totally saturated and that I had better get in touch with our insurance agent. Needless to say, I was floored! I have never had to deal with anything like this before and had no idea what to do. Tyler took the time to walk me through the entire process: from repair through restoration, and what would happen during each step. I was very impressed that he would take the time and thoroughly explain the entire process. Tyler then went back down and completed the repair. Oh, and in case you’re wondering, the bill for the repair was much less than what I had expected, especially for a weekend job.
While I was told I could choose any company, I decided to choose All Star Plumbing and Restoration to do the cleanup and drying of the crawlspace and the subfloor in our living room. Once we got the “okay” from our insurance adjuster, Tyler and Tony arrived and the first thing they did was protect the floors leading to and from the crawlspace entrance, (a minor thing to do in the scope of what is happening, but I feel that this demonstrates a high level of customer service). Tony then suited-up in hazmat gear and mask, then went down into the hot and humid crawlspace, where he spent the next several hours removing the saturated insulation, spraying antimicrobial agent on the subfloor and joists, and setting fans.
When the insurance adjuster came to inspect the damage, Tyler also came by and explained to him what had happened, the repair that he made, the damage that occurred, and the restoration procedures they employed.
I want to take this time to give a big thank you to Tyler for all his work and support through the entire process. I want to thank Tony for all the hard work he did during the restoration phase. He worked for several hours in a very hot and humid environment and got the job done. I also want to thank Jennifer for her help in working with the insurance company and for explaining the claims process to me.
In short, I would highly recommend All Star Plumbing and Restoration for any of your plumbing & restoration needs. They were fast to respond, performed the repair quickly, and the fee was very reasonable, especially since this occurred on a weekend. The professionalism and caring of everyone involved gave us the peace of mind, which helped make this very stressful situation much easier to endure.

Had a big bathroom issue, not just plumbing but subfloor rot which had been hidden for years, someone was actually using the toilet when it bent forward through the floor. Not just a toilet leak but the tub valve as well and leaking around the tub surround. Brian came and gave a fair estimate and agreed to start in about 2 weeks. I received a call the next day asking if they start early, which they did. They had to replace more than 3/4 of the subfloor, and remove most of the old plumbing. Then they placed 2 large fans and a dehumidifier in the bathroom, for a week, to dry everything out. One of their crew showed up everyday to check the dryness level. All new subfloor, new toilet, new tub and surround. Then the finish carpenter Jim from Treasure Valley Tool Box took over. I have to say he was quite meticulous. I know it cost more than the original estimate but the damage was extensive. Great job the bathroom looks Super! I would recommend these folks highly.

Available on short notice to repair leak in rental. The guys went above my expectations by also treating a small moldy area, quick for them, but saved me a trip & earned them my future business. Thank you. Will call them again.
