I recently used Norbert and his team to complete some work around the house. The work ranged from simple fixes to shelving / doors, heavy appliance removal / installation, and ceiling drywall repair / painting. Both Norbert and his colleague were extremely professional, easy to work with and practical in their approach to getting the job done. I would highly recommend them for any job you need done, and will certainly be using them as needed for any repairs that I need in the future.

Chicago Handy REALLY helped us out when we recently moved into the area & needed work done on our new condo. He is VERY professional and VERY communicative!!! We honestly could not of finished our home without him!! Anyone he works with or that he refers us too, are just as professional!!! He deserves 20 stars!!! Thanks again for everything!

I am so glad that I recently used Norbert of Chicago Handy to do some work in my condo. Once I filled out the request online, I received a reply from Norbert containing a proposed date and an estimate for the work. He then also followed up via phone and email to ensure he had all the information about the tasks he would be completing and the supplies he would need. On the day of, he arrived promptly on time, wearing a mask and immediately changed his shoes upon entering my home. He also had a drop cloth that he carefully laid out. He was so careful and efficient and kind. He installed two light fixtures and hung a mirror. His prices are completely reasonable and his work was superb.

Hiring a handyman or anyone to do work in your home can be a stressful experience, but I am so thankful I found Norbert and Chicago Handy!

They did a great job correcting mistakes that my bathroom remodel contractor had made. Norbert sent his technician Mark to complete the job and he was super friendly, meticulous and took his time to make sure the job was done correctly. Our condo association uses Norbert and his crew for a lot of our maintenance & repair issues, so I did not hesitate to trust him for a few repairs in my individual unit. In a span of a week, his crew helped remove mold and repaint a bathroom, replace/rebuild rotting deck boards, and resolve an electrical issue with my breakers. I have no doubt that all the fixes will last for many years.

A friend recommended Norbert at Chicago Handy to me for a kitchen backsplash installation. He was quick to respond and communicated well. His quote was fair and was around what I anticipated. His team worked efficiently and did a great job with the backsplash installation. Jamie did some drywall repair behind my dishwasher and also did a great job. I highly recommend Chicago Handy! Norbert was very easy to communicate with. First, he was helpful in diagnosing the problem we were having with our kitchen faucet. This was with an easy phone conversation. We decided to replace our faucet and we hired Norbert to install it. He was prompt, professional, kind, and provided excellent work! He tidied after himself and everything was just super easy. Norbert is a pleasure to work with.

I was turning over my condo to new tenants and needed to get some touch ups done on the unit, including a fresh coat of paint on the walls, replacing/fixing closet doors, re-caulking the shower and other miscellaneous items. Norbert was very prompt in his response, came out to the unit the next day to take a look and provide a better estimate on time/cost and his technician Mark began the work a couple days later. Norbert was always very transparent and kept me up to date on the work/timing and Mark did a fantastic job with everything. Would definitely use them again for future needs!

I’ve had great experiences with Chicago Handy! Norbert is always super quick to respond, he can usually schedule someone for a visit the same day, they get the job done quickly, and at a fair rate. We had an issue with a light fixture in our condo and he was able to diagnose it over the phone and save us service call! So nice.

I contacted Norbert to repair my ceiling and some walls which were damaged by a water leak, as well as fixing a leaky sink.

Norbert was very responsive when I contacted Chicago Handy. he came over the same day to assess the damage and gave me a quote. His team came in just a couple of days later and the transformation is unbelievable! The holes were patched and painted, and the team even matched the paints on my walls and ceilings. You can't tell there was ever any damage. They also fixed up the sink, and the cabinet underneath is dry as a bone.

I am incredibly happy with Chicago Handy. The responsiveness, quality, and professionalism of the team is top-notch. I will always call them first, for any handyman job I need in the future.
