We had a great technician named Zibi for 2 days help us repair some things across our condo in Rogers Park. He fixed a doorknob dent in the drywall, some patching and painting on our sun room ceiling, helped get two sticky doors to shut better, re-caulked and re-grouted our shower, and replaced some rotting wood at our back door deadbolt. Everything looks great and he was easy going and efficient. Recommended.

A project I had been delaying (gallery wall) was finished within a few days of contacting Chicago Handy. I read in other reviews that they are meticulous, and I fully agree. Our main bedroom finally has art on the walls, and it looks perfect. Already making a list for the next round of projects!

I had a great experience with Chicago Handy. Andre knew exactly how to tackle a small installation/repair job I had and seemed to be working in my best interest by making sure we could approached the job in a way that involved the least amount of time and labor. He was detail-oriented and made sure to ask and confirm details of placement and my preferences before undertaking it. I also really appreciate a handyperson business that allows me to book online and upload photos rather than having to call and explain over the phone.

I'm a 4-time customer of Chicago Handy and a big fan of Norbert Sienko. I couldn't be more satisfied with the work Norbert crew has completed for me or how Norbert runs his business. Chicago Handy is priced right, the work quality is high, and they're usually able to send someone out within a few days of requesting the job. I love the flexibility and ease of communication.

On this particular job, Norbert's crew member Charlie came to our primary residence to paint a couple of exterior doors. He was on-time, called ahead of his arrival, was polite and courteous, and most importantly, did a great job painting both of our doors which have exterior window grills, making the job a bit more involved. Charlie's prep work was comprehensive and there wasn't a spec of project debris left over.

I would highly recommend Chicago Handy to anyone who needs handyman work around the house or around their rental units. Will continue to use Norbert and the crew. Thanks again!

My husband and I have had nothing but nightmare experiences with contractors so when it came time to hang a door on our bedroom closet we kept putting it off! I found Norbert on Yelp based on his amazing reviews from others. If I could give him 10 stars, I would!! I honestly wish I would have found him much sooner!! He is exceptional when it comes to good communication, detailed explanation and of course his craftsmanship. He showed up on time, had everything needed for the job (which threw him a few curveballs along the way) and I couldn’t be happier with the finished product! He takes his time to make sure things are done right and I was extremely impressed to see him go back to make a few “tweaks”until they were perfect. He is honest, professional and again does amazing work! I can now see why he’s so booked up (but completely worth the wait!!!) Thanks for the excellent job and I can’t wait to work with you again!

Norbert and his team are absolutely fantastic. Easy communication, transparent pricing, and high-quality service. We had used them to redo our backsplash in our kitchen, which was done very well and in a timely manner (important these days as its difficult to get things done quickly!) We then hired them to remodel our powder room (pictures shown). His team (Andy and Ziggy) did a phenomenal job, with such attention to detail. They showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves, and we are thrilled with the finished product.

We've used Chicago Handy for a couple projects: 1) large, arched curtain rod installation, 2) elfa storage system installation, and 3) re-caulking our shower & bathtub. Each time, we have been pleased with the quality of the service!

Chicago Handy helped us close up a couple holes in our ceiling that had been opened for plumbing issues. Can't say enough good things about them and we'll definitely be using them for other projects as they come up. Kind, easy to talk to, super transparent pricing, showed up right on time, nailed the promised schedule and did high-quality, detail oriented work. Everything looks good as new! We've had a lot of experience with repairs and these guys are the gold standard in my book.

I am thrilled with the work that Chicago Handy performed on my kitchen wall this week. Norbert was patient, kind, and responsive as I went through the scheduling process. Mark completed the work in our home. He always kept us updated as he was working in our home. He is personable, skilled, and extremely knowledgeable. I don’t think I could thank Norbert and Mark enough!

Beware of Chicago Handy. I was charged $1,200 to install a bathroom sink and remove a clog in the pipe. I complained to Norbert about the time and expense it took for a simple job. He defended his pricing by telling me that I didn’t know the high rate that another company would charge. Just as bad, his tone sounded annoyed that I questioned him.

Haven't used a handyman/service before Chicago Handy but I highly recommend. I had a project and was in contact with 5 handyman companies. Norbert from Chicago Handy was the most responsive, but made the process as easy as possible to understand my project/requirements, quick estimate and even walked me through some options that could change final pricing. The actual handyman that came out, Zibby, is a true gentleman and gets the job done with a light and friendly attitude. Would absolutely use these guys again!

Norbert and his team were great! We had a couple of small drywall jobs, and everything was patched up in a timely, professional manner. Really appreciated how clean they kept everything, from taking their shoes off inside our home to laying tarp down for their materials and tools. Would use them again for household/drywall repairs, highly recommend!
