Had a sofa bed cleaned and protected by this ServiceMaster. They were prompt, professional, polite and worked fast.

I had some water damage occur in my kitchen; Floors were ruined, drywall was ruined, and cabinets were ruined. I put in a claim with my insurance, and they sent out Carlos and Jerry.

I had the best experience with these Carlos and Jerry. They came in and looked lover all the affected area that had water damage. I thought I would be getting an estimate, but they were able to rip up the wet floors and remove the wet walls within the same day.

We did run into an issue where Serviced Master found what was presumed to be asbestos tile in the affected areas. I felt like it was the end of the world, because we know all know it's crazy expensive to get that taken care of; But Service Masters work with a 3rd party company - Bluestone Environmental, Inc, who were able to come out and confirm, that it was asbestos. and they were able to set up times and dates, and a time frame of when things could get rolling with the rest of the removal.

Carlos and Jerry were so nice, and explained everything that had to happen, down to a "T". They answered all of our questions, let us know what the next steps would be and gave us a heads-up that we would be getting notified about moving our stuff out of the house to that they could work. Carlos and Jerry set up dehumidifiers and fans to dry up all the water (over a span of 4 days). They took away all the destroyed materials, which was lovely, because it wasn't sitting in our driveway. And they sprayed the affected areas with a liquid to prevent mold from growing.

Like I said, my boyfriend and I loved the experience we had with them, and we would call upon this team, heaven forbid, we ever needed a water mitigation team again.

I called ServiceMaster restoration by Zaba when my parents basement flooded on a weekend and they were very professional and respectful over the phone and in person when they got to my parents home. They took care of everything and it looks and feels brand new I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. Jerry one of service pros was very knowledgeable and was very kind. This company is great. They don’t price gouge! Prices are more than fair. I would recommend to all my family and friends.

Their staff was incredible when we had a tricky double-insurance claim on our basement when a plumber left a sewage pipe cap off (twice!) in the span of 3 months. It was several months of back and forth with insurance and their staff, Brittney especially, went to bat for us, helped walk the field agents through the estimate, did 3-way phone calls, and even met and did a follow up review of the estimate on-site with their adjuster. They never dropped a ball, and were quick and tidy with the remediation. We can't thank them enough for the perfect customer service when navigating a really rough insurance claims process.

I just want to thank Fernando and his crew. They did a great job working in my house. Several shingles fell off the roof during the recent windy days and I didnt realize it until heavy rain caused water damage in my attic and second floor. They treated all my personal belongings with care and were very professional, the office team was also great and submitted everything to my insurance company.

We had flood damage. We didn’t know how to go about getting our basement cleaned and covered by insurance. Our insurance agent recommended Servicemaster. They arrived promptly. Fernando was fantastic explaining the entire process to us. Ryan lead the team in packing up our belongings while removing carpeting and placing fans and cleaned and disinfected our basement.
They then put our basement in some sort of order as much as they could. I highly recommend this team.

ServiceMaster was highly recommended by a friend, I had a flooded basement a few days ago and discovered I did not have flood insurance. Unfortunately I had several inches of water. Fernando and his crew cleaned up our basement and removed all the wet drywall, they did a great job. I did have a lot of damage, and a lot of personal belongings were damaged. This last week’s flood was a nightmare, especially for a family with one member dealing with pulmonary disease and another with MS. The water and sewage was not something I could even think about cleaning up myself. My finished basement, carpeted and furnished was a disaster…as well as much of my daughter’s personal items that were ruined and needed removal. I was put on a waiting list by FIVE restoration companies, most of which never even called me back. The fumes drifting up to my home were already challenging and so I took a ride around the neighborhood. Luckily, I happened on a team working on a neighbors home and asked them if they might help me. They were a company from the Chicago area, ServiceMaster by Zaba & of Buffalo Grove and that very day they came to start the water mitigation. Fernando and his team were amazing and within a couple of days, the water, fear of mold and bacteria, carpets, sofa, and all other items that needed disposal were all efficiently and professionally remediated. His team was not only efficient, but compassionate, somehow knowing that this was an emotionally difficult experience. Yes, they were very expensive; it’s a huge team with a lot of expensive equipment, but they were the hardest working team I’ve ever witnessed. They were absolutely amazing! A special Thanks to each and every one, but especially to Fernando and Ryan who made sure it was done well (and quickly) and Natalia, an incredibly strong young woman who had the sensitivity to open a box before disposing and rescuing the baby blanket my grown daughter was brought home from the hospital in. Thank you all, you will forever have my gratitude!

Service master provided me with excellent customer service. They responded quickly to my water issues and answered all my questions and concerns in a professional manner. I never experienced this type of home issue before and they were able to fix my water problems without adding additional stress. I would definitely recommend this company to any person experiencing water damage in their home. In today’s day it is very difficult to find a trustworthy and reliable company that can do a good job. Service Master is definitely the company to call in a water home emergency. I would definitely use them again for any future restoration issues.

I was out of town over the weekend and returned to several burst pipes, there was ice on the walls, ceilings and floors. Although I left the heat on 70 and exposed as many pipes to heat as I could, my heater decided to malfunction at some point. I received an alert on my app that the heat was off but I was already flying home and did not expect anything to freeze. This is not what you want to come home to at 8pm at night. The only one that answered the phone and was able to come out that night was servicemaster. We went over the process of water damage remediation, insurance and how to manage the chaos. Servicemaster was also able to get me a heating guy to repair the system and discuss it with my insurance company as they were skeptical that I had any heat, fortunately servicemaster assisted me with the documentation I needed.

The worst part about renting are the things your landlords don’t tell you.
Little did we know upon move in, but there was a way for water to get into our unit thru the roof, and sure enough after a particularly heavy snow we started noticing water damage in the ceilings, which was a clear indicator of larger problems.
Lucky for us (and our property manager), ServiceMaster was able to guide us thru effective mitigation and helped save our new space. Not only were they fast and effective, they were extremely caring and understanding.
I could not recommend a company more, especially when you’re in need of work done effectively and expediently.

Our summer home in Wilmette experienced several burst pipes due to the cold temperatures, regardless of the high heat kept in the home, the cold breeze came in under the doors and froze pipes overnight. I called Servicemaster at the direction of my insurance and they were able to handle the disaster that was left behind after all the pipes leaked. I highly recommended them.

ServiceMaster Chicago took care of my water damage services, we also needed to pack all of our belongings in order to do the repairs and they packed our stuff for us. The repairs took a while to get on schedule but mainly because our insurance adjuster dragged his feet, I was really happy that servicemaster advocated on our behalf to get everything covered on the repairs, the insurance adjuster didn't want to pay for anything. Our home looks beautiful and the repair process was painless. Also, a big "thank you" to the office staff who accommodated my request for some boxes that I needed to grab from their storage facility in Chicago, it was really easy to work with them.

These are the folks to call. Fast, efficient, and professional. They came over quickly, showed me what was needed and gave me an estimate. Fernando was great, a real pro and a nice guy. They left everything spotless and made sure everything was ready for the new dry wall and plastering. They made the whole process seamless. It was a water leak that's now just history.
