Constraction reviews in Niles, Illinois

I had a wonderful experience at this store while purchasing a sink. David assisted me and was extremely attentive, patient, and helpful in guiding me through the options. Thanks to his support, I was able to make the right choice. Excellent customer service!

I bought new carpet and the part joining 2 rooms was supposed to have a seam that would not be visible. The installer decided not to do a seam and leave a gap between the carpet segments. It looks awful. It has been a month and they still have not even scheduled anyone to fix it! They keep saying, be patient, they contractor installer will do something. I could not be more disappointed in the final product and the customer service.

Krys and CHJ always deliver what they promise, and don't leave you hanging like other contractors. I appreciate their attention to detail, and they offer good suggestions based upon their years of experience. Have had them do several jobs, most recently my basement. Thanks Krys!

CHJ has completed several projects in my home. I have always been very happy with the results. All the work was completed in a timely and professional manner.

Chris was excellent to work with, very professional; work done on-time, within budget and exactly as we had discussed. He made suggestions where I needed help and ran any extras by me in terms of impact to cost. Plus, just a real nice guy.
I’d hire him again.

They were incredibly accommodating and professional from start to finish. Fair pricing, quality work—I highly recommend and will definitely call again!

The company remodeled our condo: did wall/ door / trimmings painting, installed wood and vinyl flooring, performed full remodeling of bathrooms and other repairs. We are very happy with the results. Reasonable pricing and good value. Good communication. Highly recommended. Thank you!

Excellent work. Kitchen is beautiful. Very professional work and very reasonable. Could not have a better result for the price. Would definitely recommend! 😀

Chris came out in less than 24 hours and on a Saturday, assessed the situation, and went over and above his remit to fix an urgent issue with my garage to leave me and my family in a good place. Highly recommend and I will be asking CHJ to provide quotes on two projects this fall.

CHJ did an amazing job with a renovation/painting project we had at home. Very competitive pricing and quality work.

Hired for interior painting and electrical work—the team did a great job, were timely, and very professional, all at a competitive rate.

We recently bought our home in Niles which needed some work. We then found out that my parents were planning to fly in and visit for Christmas. A neighbor referred us to CHJ Painting. Chris and his crew were able to paint our upstairs and make repairs in the kitchen and bathrooms and make our house beautiful for the holiday with very short notice. We will definitely call them this spring to paint our exterior. They were fast and efficient and most of all cleaned up wonderfully.

Thanks CHJ

I had CHJ painting paint the entire interior of a three-bedroom house in Evanston. Then I had them completely clean the house and wash all the windows, inside and out. Then I had them selectively paint worn or flaking spots on the exterior of the house. The workers were fast and professional, the work itself was beautiful, everything was protected during the work. I would definitely hire them again.

Extremely happy with Chris and his entire crew. We've used their services twice now and would highly recommend them. Their prices are competitive, they show up on time, do a professional job and leave the house as clean as before they started.

CHJ Painting and Remodeling did excellent work as usual at our home! I have worked with CHJ several times for projects large and small, and the team is always professional, thorough, and efficient.

CHJ Painting Painted our Wilmette home interior complete. I was amazed how quickly the got the job done. They were on time, professional and polite. They cleaned up so well which thrilled me because i thought there would be a need to take out garbage or something. They were reasonably priced. I will recommend them to everyone.

Chris was very responsive to email and came out to our condo in Rogers Park quickly to assess and prepare a quote. The written quote was turned around within a couple days and was both detailed and reasonable in price. The quality of their work and professionalism was far above the average painter. Definitely recommend!

On very short notice and at the recommendation of our realtor, we contacted Chris at CHJ Painting to paint our living room, dining room and ceiling. As we have put our house on the market, we needed it done quickly.. They gave us a very fair quote and showed up 2 days later, much to our delight. They worked 10 hours on both Friday and Saturday to finish ahead of schedule.

The two painters could not have been nicer or more professional. They did such a good job of taping off the rest of the house that we had no dust or debris anywhere. The quality of the paining was excellent. Could not recommend them more highly.

I hired CHJ Painting for my kitchen, living, and dining room remodeling project. Last time I hired a cheaper guy, but in the end cost more than CHJ, and the work wasn't nearly up to my standards.

This time, I went straight to CHJ having learned from experience, and I am completely satisfied that I did.

The renovations: Chris did not just do the painting, but demoed the kitchen and ugly ceramic floors, removed a wall and installed a header above the ceiling, painted and installed trim. He referred me to his electrician who was also top notch and worked with Chris on timing to get the job done as quickly as possible. He even brought in his engineer to ensure the best design to remove the wall, install the header hidden in the ceiling, and fix the sag in the ceiling.

Professionalism: Chris is very transparent on costs by providing a written estimate and a timeline on everything. Him and his guys also came back on several occasions to re-finish and touch up everything after we completed the renovations, and has an eye for details. More items were added during the course of the project which also wasn't an issue. He is a good guy to work with, and I will hire him again soon.

Chris Jusczyk and his team of painters at CHJ Painting and Remodeling answered all of our questions in a timely way AND were efficient, organized and dependable (the price was reasonable as well). We won't hesitate to recommend them to our past and present neighbors. Thanks CHJ team!
