Update: Maxson helped us again with our basement finish by installing a shower, toilet and vanity in our brand new bathroom. The toilet was on an uneven floor, so they had to find a custom solution to get it to sit flat, which they executed perfectly. They were very helpful throughout the entire process in picking out the shower enclosure, the toilet, the shower faucet and the sink faucet. Highly recommend for basement bathroom finishes, as well.

We called Maxson on a Monday about our leaking hot water heater. They were able to schedule us and get us in by Thursday. PJ came and did amazing work. He took the time to explain everything he was going to do and then explained how everything worked after he finished up. He was even conscious about our white carpets when he removed the old, rusty one - so he used beach towels and a tarp. Maxson was responsive, helpful and provided a great value when it came to replacing our water heater.

Maxson came recommended from a highly reliable source and they definitely lived up to the recommendation. I had a new dishwasher installed where there were no previous connections. It takes a while to get an appointment but the plumber was the most professional that I had ever met, he definitely knew what he was doing and did a great job. I only wish that they were more responsive and could get appointments quicker, still 5 stars.

I cannot say enough about how much I loved having Maxson Services out to fix our plumbing issue! We called this Friday morning (6/11/2021) because our sink was backed up and our disposal wasn't working. The tech arrived that same afternoon!! We didn't have to wait at all. He fixed it quickly, was very nice and professional. The cost was SO reasonable. I had a similar thing done a few years ago by one of those big name companies and they swindled me. It is so nice to know that there are businesses charging reasonable rates and providing such great service!

Maxson Plumbing was recommended by several ladies on the O’Fallon Mom’s Facebook page. We needed a new sink hooked up. I reached out to the two plumbing companies that were recommended by multiple ladies, and Anita responded first. Her customer service is exemplary and she scheduled a serviceman to come out and hook up our new sink when we were hoping them to. They were quick and efficient. We were dorks and had them reinstall our old garbage disposal with the new sink to save money —don’t ever do that!!! Now, about one-two weeks later I discovered water leaking from our garbage disposal and called them in a panic. Anita called back and was sweet and sent her husband out immediately. He replaced our garbage disposal and obviously there was no further leaking. We will definitely call them for future plumbing needs and highly recommend them.

I was incredibly pleased with the service we received from Maxson Plumbing. We had our water heater leaking out all over the finished side of our basement, so I called around a few places and landed on Maxson. In speaking with Anita it was clear that they were professional, honest and knowledgeable. She did a great job staying in communion with me all day trying to find the earliest available slot. We were able to get everything done the following morning. I cannot remember the young man's name who came out to do the work, but he was very kind, respectful of our property, and knowledgeable. We did not pay until after the work was completed and the price was very fair. Super pleased with the overall experience!

We originally had the sewer pipes replaced under the house with PVC and the first review reflects that experience. Recently we had a faucet handle replaced and the experience is still great. Anita had one of the guys come out with a modern replacement and it was in place within a day. No delays, no excuses, just solid work at a reasonable cost. Thank you, Maxson.

Anita and everyone at Maxson was wonderful to work with from an estimate to work to billing. If you need any work done at your home or business I highly recommend them.

I was having serious sump pump problems, I called Maxson at about 3:00Pm and had to leave a voicemail message and expected a call back hopefully the next day. I received a call within 1/2 hour, the assistant who called back was very professional, listened to me and set me up with an appointment the next day for between10-12 am. PJ the plumber arrived about 10:30 the next day as promised.
Pj was very polite and and a great plumber!
I had nightmares about what was going to happened because it was not going to be a simple sub pump replacement because of where the pump was located and how the old pump was installed. He was very efficent, his truck was well equiped and he was very talented in fixing my problem in a little over an hour!
My bill was much less than I expected
The next time I need a plumber I won't ask neighbors who I should call, Iwill call Maxson Services and ask for PJ

Very honest and reasonable company. We got some options from another company for repairing a small leak in our pipes in the $2,000 - $8500 range. Justin from Maxson let us know our pipes were fine for now and may never need a repair. He even checked our water meter to assure us there was no major leak anywhere in the house. And all for free! Thank you! Very honest plumber.
Update 8/26/2024: They came to my house and cleaned out the main line for the house and replaced the flapper in my toilet because it was getting stuck open. The service was quick and professional and the price was very reasonable.

We have used Maxson two times now one to fix our hot water heater and earlier this week we had a new faucet put in. Maxson will try to fit you in same day if they can if not next business day. Very reliable and punctual.

Our entire experience with Maxson was wonderful! No one likes having a plumbing issue, but if you have one, this is the place to call. I called and talked to Anita at the office. I knew that it might be the following day for them to come out, since I called after 12:00 PM. She quickly looked and said that they had a plumber in our area already and may be able to squeeze me in the same day. And she did! PJ and his apprentice (I wish I had gotten his name) were at our home within an hour of when I called, diagnosed the issue and had it fixed very quickly. The price was so reasonable! I have used another plumbing company in the area, who charged me more for simply coming out to diagnose a problem than Maxson charged me for everything. While we hope that we don't have any future issues, they will be our go to if we do. They are wonderful, and I highly recommend them!

Christian was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. He took care of our problem and made sure everything worked before he left. Excellent service.

I can’t recommend this company enough. They’ve helped me out in a bind a few times now. If you need plumbing services, these guys are great and reasonably priced.

I’ve used them a couple times. Will always be the first people I call for any plumbing issues. Anita is great with getting the work scheduled in timely manner. Technicians are knowledgeable, professional and friendly.

I’ve always been impressed with the quality of their work. Their fees are fair and competitive.

The office staff is also very good.

I won’t use any other plumbing service.

Five stars for Maxson!

First time using Maxson Plumbing. Great communication, excellent service, they left my home exactly the way it was when they arrived. Everyone was very polite and they took great care of me and my family, helping to get us back up and running in a timely manner! Tom and Anita the owners were very easy to work with and I 100 percent would recommend their services!

My hot water heater failed overnight. I called the next day and they were able to squeeze me in that day despite being booked solid. The water heater was still under warranty and Christian made numerous phone calls finding the parts and getting the needed authorizations. Due to parts availability issues the repair had to wait until the next day but I was super pleased with the effort everyone put forth. I will definitely be using them again for my future plumbing needs.

Justin came by to fix a water shutoff valve and did an amazing job. He was punctual and very professional. He even noticed a couple other upgrades/repairs that would be a good idea to fix and he took the time to complete them in the same visit. Price was very fair. Will certainly use them again if needed in the future!

Very satisfied with my experience with Maxon Plumbing. The entire team was knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt. Anita answered every question I had (by phone and by email) and offered helpful recommendations to make sure I got exactly what I needed.
The plumbers arrived on time at the agreed upon time and were both pleasant and skilled. They walked me through every step of their plan, explained what they were doing, and made sure all my questions were answered. As expected with an older home, a few hiccups came up along the way, but they kept me fully informed and resolved each issue quickly and professionally.
Before leaving, they made sure I understood how to operate everything they installed, which I really appreciated. Overall, the work was completed correctly, on time, and at a reasonable price. Maxon Plumbing delivered excellent service from a genuinely pleasant team. I recommend them 100%.

Didn't have all I needed but still good place to go.

The services the home depot offers are cheaper than most and use trusted contractors to do the work. I don't have to worry when I use them since the company that's hired won't take my money and not finish the work. The people that work there have also had background checks so I know they won't steal from me.

Three weeks after the laminate floor installation I'm still waiting for the Superior Floor Installers to come back to finish the job - another "no show" installer appointment today! I'm getting nothing but a run-around from all parties involved - lots of promises on the phone but I continue to wait for someone to finally finish this job.
