I had the annual maintenance service done for my furnace and air conditioning. Gavin did a very thorough job and also provided a very thorough explanation of what he did and how are units were doing.
We have had Rolf Griffin providing service for us for several years and have been pleased with the products and service we have received.

I had my yearly visit for my furnace and must say that Gavin was the most forthcoming technician I’ve ever had with all the services that were performed and the status of my equipment. He also let me know that Rolf Griffin could assist me in the future with my water heater needs (currently a rental with another company) and also if I had any leaky faucets. Gavin was polite and professional and was very respectful to me and my property.

Ryan Coolman, Sam Seltzer, and Seth Syndram did an excellent job today installing furnace and A/C unit. They all made sure to follow up throughout the process so I was well informed. During the final check and walk through Ryan made sure to reassure and inform me of everything; how to work the new thermostat, what we may smell from the new furnace, filter size, etc. As a consumer this was excellent service and was great to be informed. Would highly recommend the team and will be calling when future work is needed.

Our Rolf-Griffin service man came to our home to service our heating system on Dec. 5. He got right to work and everything was working well. He review all the work he accomplished and suggested we consider replacing our old water heater. It is on the agenda for the future. We had a good conversation about our system. Thank You Matt.

Andrew Arambula & Cody Gamble came for my yearly maintenance on my 2 furnaces & AC unit. Andrew was extremely thorough in his review, especially with my older furnace and provided a detailed explanation and pictures of possible future repairs that may be needed. Cody helped explain my financial options on a new furnace and helped me understand my Aidvantage plan. It was the most detailed visit I have ever had and I really appreciate their attention to details. No hard sell on a new furnace, but Cody did provided me with current deals and financing to make a decision going forward. Great visit!!

Chase arrived right in time and was very courteous and professional. He performed our service, gave me all the information I needed, and cleaned up the work area prior to leaving. Very happy with the work he did!

My furnace had quit working so I made an appointment and I was able to have next day service. (Only best part of this story) Was told my motor seized up and that it would be best to replace my whole furnace due to it being 12 years old. When I asked if I could just have the part replaced instead the final total would be extremely expensive. I was then convinced that a new furnace would be the best option. So I agreed to it and filled out the financial part of it all for a new furnace to be installed the next day. After talking with my father about the price and the situation, something didn't sit right so upon further investigating I found out that my sensors just needed to be cleaned. Nothing is broken or seized up. When I called to cancel the installation the initial guy I talked to at my home didn't seem pleasant that I was canceling. I was fully taken advantage of and now Rolf Griffin leaves a bad taste in my mouth even though it was only 2 people who made it that way. It will be harder to trust them in the future. Bottom line is don't make people pay for something they don't need just to get a bigger paycheck.

Jalen and James came to service my furnace today. They were professional, informative, and are the reason we will be continuing to use Rolf when we move this year. Please make sure that these two gentleman get their proper kudos for the phenomenal experience they provided today. Thank you

Excellent professional install crew. Denny is a TRUE PRO. Install crew is the main reason to stick with RG. The installers make ALL the DIFFERENCE.

Small issue with outdoor compressor placement but 100% guarantee resolution.

**Update - after the great heat and air install, we decided to go ahead and have RG replace the water heater. New crew but again, excellent work. Steve ran brand new shiny copper, new shut offs, overall the installation pic could be on the water heater manufacturers sales brochure. Thanks again RG crew!

New plumbing job completed today by RG. Joel did amazing work! We had all of the drain lines and water lines with new shutoffs under our kitchen sink replaced. Great work. Thank you!

I've used Rolf Griffin for over 25 years. They do all my maintenance and I've purchased 2 furnace/ air conditioner combos. The technicians are always professional and considerate of cleanliness and don't leave the door open. Pricing is fair and they stand behind their products and installation. Any problem was fixed promptly without argument. I have and would recommend them. I don't recommend very many companies.

I have a maintenance plan with Rolf Griffin. Today Joel Acosta came out to do a plumbing check and saw that our water heater tank was leaking and potentially dangerous, with the damp short-circuiting one of the heating elements. He replaced the whole thing within a couple of hours. Excellent service.

The installers took the time to answer any questions we had and did a final walk through, with us, to review the work that was completed. They were very professional and efficient throughout the install.

Chase has been an AMAZING technician! He has been here the last 2 times for my checkups & has always been friendly, answers all of my questions & makes sure I understand everything he's doing and why! Prompt & courteous! Always a pleasure!

Rolf Griffin was very responsive to a weekend service call to my son's house and followed up with him to replace an entire HVAC system on another property. Their work impressed us so much that we bought a new system for our own home. We were not disappointed — fair price, excellent equipment, and a professional installation. The technicians they sent were especially impressive.

Editing my review to mention the effort Gavin the RG Service Tech made in his post checkup on the furnance and AC. He did a thourough effort to sure that everything was correct and in working condition. Good work Gavin!

Cody Gamble came to give us a estimate for a HVAC system today. He was knowledgeable and friendly. He came prepared, on time and answered all our questions. We are still getting estimates but he has put his company to the top of our list! Good job Cody!

We had our maintenance service completed today. Both Cody & Chuck were incredibly professional & friendly. They explained everything in a way that was very easy to understand & answered all of my questions. Both of these guys are clearly a great asset to Rolf Griffin!

We smelled gas coming from our hot water heater. With doing business with Rolf Griffin before and them installing this water heater years ago we called them to check it out. My husband shut off the pilot and cut off the gas line going to it. Benjamin, from Griffin came in the next day and went down and told me he knows what gas smells like and ours smells like exhaust, not gas. He told me that there was no gas leak and it was something called combustion. The only way to stop the smell would be to change from the type of unit we have. Paid him $100 fee. He relit the pilot and turned back on the gas without asking or letting me know. Of course, the basement filled back up with the gas smell. My husband shut everything off again and called Nipsco. They came out and found the gas leak in less than 5 min!!! Nipsco guy said our unit would never cause a combustion smell in the basement and was shocked we were even told that. While we’ve trusted Griffin many times before, I don’t think that will ever be the case again. Ben filled my house up with gas and charged me $100 to do it! If we would’ve trusted him and kept about our way my whole family could be gone! Called Rolf Griffin to speak to a supervisor and got a call back from a scheduling coordinator, Dawn instead. She was very nice and apologized. They sent a different technician to come out and replace the flex pipe that the gas company found a leak in. The Rolf Griffin tech wanted to call his supervisor so that I could speak to him about everything. Jeff, the supervisor seemed very unbothered by this whole situation and you could tell he had no interest in speaking with me. I am in utter shock. His words were, “I can’t really speak on that situation since I wasn’t there with eyes on it” WHAT? Your technician put my whole family in danger. He did agree to refund my $100 fee for the first trip. They charged me $200 for the flex pipe on the second trip. Looked up this flex pipe after they left and it’s $25 at Home Depot. They were here for less than 30 min. Talk about overcharging at its finest! The second tech, Joel was actually great. He pointed out immediately the flex pipe on it currently wasn’t even up to code anymore bc of leaking. Why was this not mentioned the day before by Ben? Joel came and did his job properly. Wish I would’ve gotten him the first time. If you go with Rolf Griffin and get notified that Benjamin is your technician, I would HIGHLY recommend you cancel your appointment. Overall, Dawn and Joel were great, but if you experience any issues, I can’t say that the supervisors will even care. If you value your safety and money I’d recommend going elsewhere. This whole situation could’ve ended so much worse than it did due to their negligence. Their lack of concern over this whole situation is astonishing!

Update: “owner” responded to this review and asked us to reach out. As suspected, it was just for show publicly as they never responded to our email. Just backs up my original thoughts, they don’t care.

James and Rafael, we're here today to try and fix our 30+ year old furnace. They were both amazing, helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. They did get everything fixed and running very quickly and we're able to help us get an order with them to replace our old system. No pressured sales pitch, just an explanation and pros and cons. The best company in Fort Wayne and tonight we will be warm and toasty thanks to them both and tomorrow getting a new furnace and air conditioner at a great price and comfort in the knowledge they will provide 10 more years of continued service and maintainence on the new furnace and air conditioning. They both made me feel a lot better even with thus tough choice. Thanks!!!!

A follow up. We had the new AC and furnace installed the next day. Steve and Keelen were amazing. They worked together so well and explained the new system completely so thank you again!!!
