I have always had a great experience with BDM. Bob is very reliable, gets the repair done efficiently and quickly. He tells you exactly what the problem is and doesn't try to sway you towards unnecessary repairs. I highly recommend BDM Appliance Repair.

Absolutely stay away from this company. We had a refrigerator ice maker that was making ice but would not dispense it through the door ice dispenser. Bob came out to look at it and diagnosed it as a broken motor that needed replaced. Bob ordered the motor and we agreed on a total price of $320.99 for motor + install. While we worked over the next couple of weeks to get our schedules aligned on the repair, we just used the machine manually. We pulled the bin out, grabbed some ice, and put it back in. Each morning, the bin was always full of ice again. On June 7th, 2024, he came and replaced the motor. In the process, the entire ice maker was taken apart, including the water tray, etc. Motor was changed out and all put back together. We put the ice bin (still full of ice that was produced before he came) back into the refrigerator and the ice maker dispensed that ice just fine. Issue solved. The only problem is that after that bin of ice got used up, the ice maker never produced any ice again after Bob was in the house. The tray isn't even filling with water. Upon texting Bob about this, his first response was to make sure the ice maker was turned on. That was our first thought as well and fortunately we had already made sure of that a couple days earlier. After telling him we already tried that, his response was, "Weird, I didn't do anything to the ice maker". Umm......see note above about the ice maker was disassembled and on my counter...... He then said he would be in my area Saturday morning and would text me. After reaching out to him this morning (Tuesday) after not hearing from him, I was ultimately told that if it was a different issue than the motor, he would have to charge us a fee to come back out. I don't think so. If I'm paying more money to fix their mistake, I'm calling a qualified company to fix it.

Bob did great, fixed our issue, was kind and helpful. He had to come back a couple times due to needing more parts but he was apologetic and quick to come out once parts arrived. We are grateful to have our ice maker working!

Bob was able to come out the next day whereas others were scheduling for the next week. He was efficient and able to diagnose and fix our oven at a very reasonable cost. Hope I don’t need a repairman for a while but if I do I’ll be calling Bob!

Bob was great! My assigned tech was running behind so Bob dropped what he was doing and made a special trip to fix our oven. He is very competent and quite friendly. It was a pleaseure to have him in our home. I would highly recommend Bob and BDM Appliance Repair!

Bob has repaired to problems with our washing machine. The repairs fixed the problems and they remain fixed. His communication and availability were top notch. He was there when he said he would be and came prepared with the part that was needed. Will be using him again for any of our appliance repairs. Great overall!!

Electrolux Dryer: When our Electrolux Dryer suddenly stopped working, Electrolux recommended three repair companies in the area. The first said they could get to us in a week, and the labor and trip fee were expensive. Then I called BDM. Bob asked me a couple of simple questions over the phone and did a quick diagnosis that it needed a belt. He looked up the part availability and said he could do the work that afternoon. He had great communication, showed up on time, and completed the work in about 5 minutes. He was reasonable, super nice, prompt and honest. Highly recommend.

Bob came out to our home on short notice (same day) today to fix our LG dishwasher and did a fantastic job getting it back to working after it would not turn on. Bob was here when he said he would be and provided the repair we needed and at a very reasonable price. Thanks so much Bob!

I had a fantastic experience with Bob. After I called the Frigidaire customer support to schedule a technician, I was told that I would be scheduled for the next day with his company. They provided me with the company name and the phone number if I “wanted” to confirm with them… I looked up the company and saw the bad reviews and was instantly hesitant, however, I gave it a shot since I really needed my oven repaired. I called Bob and told him about my situation, he explained to me that their company needed to confirm the appointment prior to the customer service promising anything and I 100% understand that. He scheduled me for the day after and came to my house at promised time frame. He found and fixed the issue while he was still in line for the next representative on the Frigidaire hotline for 3rd party repair companies. I am very pleased with my experience and it was very pleasant working with him. Communication was in point and he was very respectful of our home. Thanks for fixing my oven in less than 20 minutes!

Bob at BDM is great and I would give him 5 stars as his company, though the whole process of dealing with BDM and American Home Shield (AHS) our insurance company is 3 stars. That is because American Home Shield has incompetent employees that do not know how to interact with their contractors and their customers. Bob had to explain to AHS on several times issues but AHS does not document proper notes to process claims, so they can complete workorders. We had to call AHS as well which was so frustrating.

Bob knows what he is looking for and can fix most appliance issues, just let him know all the problems you have ahead of time. He is a one man show and busy so his schedule is hectic. Sometimes you have to wait for a bit for the parts to come in. So be prepared.

I wish I dealt with Bob directly instead of the insurance company as he would have been done a long time ago. Thanks!

My refrigerator stopped working on a Friday, I contacted the company on Monday and they were able to get me scheduled on Wednesday. They communicated when they were on the way and Bob was professional and thorough in explaining what the issue was. We discussed options and I paid for my services and he left. Very honest and straightforward, I would call them again for a repair.

Bob is very responsive and detailed. He performed a washer repair for us in 2023 and we did not hesitate to contact him this year (2024) when our gas dryer stopped working. Upon reaching out, he was quick to get us scheduled and we are thankful to have our dryer up and running within just a few days! Bob is very knowledgeable and professional, in addition to providing great service at an affordable price. We highly recommend him!!

FANTASTIC customer service. Best I have experienced in many years.
A parts representative named Carl saved the day for us by getting a part for our sno-cone machine that they do not even stock ordered and sent overnight to us so we could use the machine for a combined Graduation and Retirement Party the following day. In addition, he even called then next morning to tell me that the part had been shipped and would arrive that day. He went above and beyond to take care of me. I will definitely take all of my business to them in the future.

William is a very nice guy! He came out immediately on Saturday morning to look at my dryer. He came back a few days with parts to try out to fix my dryer. He wasn’t able to because LG is trash. Would def recommend calling for repairs.
