Poor communication and acceptance of it. Excessive charges when it wasn’t explained and the company wasn’t willing to make it right.
-
Honest & on time! This company has been in business for over 80 years!
-
I have used Vogel's over the last 20 years highly recommend
-
Fixed my washer after another repair company didn't fix it. Technician was pleasant and knowledgeable .

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! Large fee to be here- literally 3 minutes, and say problem cannot be fixed, good luck! Not sure I would even trust them to fix it if they could.
-
Have used and appreciated Vogel for several years. They show up as promised and do the work efficiently. Do not hesitate to recommend.

Do not use this company! They blame their customers for poor communication and they caused a lot of damage to our basement because of a leak we were never informed of. In addition they wanted to charge us $200 to install a $35 dollar part.

I would not recommend this company for anything! Had them out today and they charged $175 when they were here 5 minutes to tell me they couldn’t do any repairs. I talked with another repair company after everything and they said they could have diagnosed it over the phone. Pretty sad that they would charge someone for something like this. Also after posting a Facebook review the owner posted many other comments with false information and was absolutely unprofessional. Very poor customer service. They had a chance to make this right and chose not to.

They told me the service fee would be $75 to figure out what was wrong with my washer. Here's what the guy did. He bends over and spins the tub. He then tells me it will be$1000 to fix. He was in my house no more than 5 minutes. He did not take anything apart or loosen one screw. I have no way of knowing if what he told me is true or not since he didn't show me anything. He really should've been ashamed to take my money. They are about 2 minutes away too.

I have had this team out to my house three times in the last 2 years for various fixes. They have always treated us fairly and giving us good service. If their assessment/fix did not do the job the first time we were not charged a service call for them to come back and get it right.

Found out they operate under several company names as the techs showed up with no identification and said they were from affordable appliance(??) then clarified Vogel (whom I called), and Choose your time appliance repair. After noticing the microwave had a blown fuse and couldn’t be tested, one tech asked I explain what was happening with it. Tech stated (w/certainty) what problem was (untested) and I was charged $95 for them showing up and diagnosing from only my description (untested). I called to express frustration with the charge and the owner got on the phone to inform me that I agreed to the $95 service charge for them to “show up” regardless of what took place. Result; another company actually tested the unit and found a completely different part failure from what the Vogel/Affordable Appliance/Choose your time repair/etc..technician stated was wrong. The owner puts “A Christian-owned co.” on their receipts and she definitely wasn’t showing it on the call. Stear clear of them as other companies will credit the diagnostic service call with a repair and actually have uniforms stating who they are (whaaaat)!

Had a technician from Vogel Appliances out today to fix my moms dryer after she had already had someone from The Appliance Repair Man (STAY AWAY FROM THE APPLIANCE REPAIR MAN) work on her dryer. After $468 later they told her it would be an additional $800 to get the dryer to work or just dry clothes. The technician from Vogel had her dryer working in 30mins and he only charged $120. Which I think they felt bad for my mom. I would highly recommend this company. Honest and Ethical....

Hands down the worst appliance repair serviceman I've ever dealt with. They were assigned my claim by my warranty service. The rude man who came out seemed never to have seen a built in refrigerator like ours and repeatedly kept slamming the freezer drawers open to try to access the icemaker. He then stated he had to order a new one and left and I was just informed by the warranty company that it has been reassigned to someone new as Vogel was not able to proceed with the repairs. Honestly for that I'm grateful as god know what kind of damage he would have done during the "repair". Also, the office staff is very unfriendly.
