Plumbing reviews in Indianapolis, Indiana

Mark is a Lifesaver! I called mister quick and they said they couldn't get my kitchen sink drain clear. They said they would need a specialist to come out with a camera and then give me more options and they wouldn't be able to do that for a couple days!
I called Mark at Drain Busters and he was confident that he could get it clear and he did! He got to my house right away, did a very thorough job, worked very quickly, and all for a better price than the big retail plumbers.
Not only did he do a great job on my plumbing, but when I was about to leave the house, my whole tire fell off from my ball joints breaking. Mark was still there and stayed with me calling tow trucks and sent me to a repair shop he knows about. He even drove me to the repair shop and to an auto parts store to get the parts.
I cant say enough about Marks integrity, helpfulness, and work ethic. He truly saved me in so many ways.
If you ever need any thing done with plumbing, call Drain Busters! Mark's the real deal! -
Very thorough! Very fast! Highly recommend! Thank you, Mark!

Mark was very professional and took the time to explain what he was about to do. My main drain which is inside my laundry room needed to be unclogged, and he came in, took the necessary steps to protect my walls and appliances then cleaned the drain. He also tested to make sure all the connecting tub and sinks were draining properly, and cleaned up any messes before he left. What a pleasant experience to have someone show your home the same respect they would show their own! Good service and good value, I will definitely have no problem using his services again or recommending him to others.

Called for assistance with a water heater, was told "No thanks", then I was hung up on. Super unprofessional, do not recommend.
-
Can’t recommend them enough!! Mark is the only plumber we use. Honest, friendly, fast, and affordable.

I contacted NuFlow about possibly putting a liner in our sewer line as a preventative measure. Jason was very professional on the phone and with follow-up communications. Mark came to our house, arrived on time, and was also very professional and super helpful. It turns out that due to governmental and/or utility regulations we would be required to add an outdoor cleanout to our line for this job to be completed (despite the fact that we already have a cleanout in the basement). Hence, the cost of the job quoted was much higher than anticipated, so we have decided not to proceed with the work.
-
Nu-Flow was put in a tough situation as my issue was both my responsibility and Citizens Energy Groups(CEG) responsibility. On top of that, the realtor representing the buyer of the house had an ego and thought all his calls to Nu-Flow were much more important than anybody else. I say this because, I was the paying customer to Nu-Flow, not the realtor. The GM of Nu-Flow handled that issue very professionally, and still worked with me in a timely manner. The work passed 2 inspections by the buyer. The process isn't the easiest dealing with CEG, but Nu-Flow made it work and I would be happy to use them again if the need arises.

Overall experience with Nuflow was amazing. They came out, gave us a quote, then a couple days later was out and fixed our main drain under the house. They were honest and extremely nice. Definitely recommend!!
-
NuFlow did a great job scoping and diagnosing our sewer line. They were very thorough in explaining the issues and providing options for remedy. They also went above and beyond to help us find a new lid for the ejector pit when ours was cracked.
-
Our company had several drain lines that were in various stages of disrepair, instead of excavating the drain lines it was more economical to have NuFlow come in and reline the drains. This saved out company thousands of dollars in repair cost and the result were very good.

Great company with integrity. I had reports from the town of some roots in my sewer line and Roto Rooter came out and could not get past an offset in the line. NuFlow came out, got past the offset and let me know I needed an offset repair and what type of cleaning once it is fixed. They told me how it could be fixed, including what materials are needed, and even that they wouldn’t recommend using them because it could be done for less myself or with a different organization. Provided some options for reliable cleaning companies.
I was in a very stressful situation and already thinking I likely needed my line replaced or heavy repairs. They certainly could have taken advantage of that but didn’t. They seem to understand how expensive it is for a home owner to do these repairs and want what is best for the customer. From what was shared, they have company policies in place to make sure this happens. I honestly could not recommend this company more. If I find myself in need of a replacement or serious repair they will absolutely be my first call. -
If I could give 10 stars, I would. This will be a lengthy review, but worth the read!
We have an old house in Broad Ripple, and have had the sewer line replaced, at great expense, from the main stack, all the way down to the street.
About 30 months after the last of the work was completed, the floor drain in the basement starts backing up after big loads of laundry. We bring out the company who did the previous work, and they diagnose the problem as actually being between the curb and the sewer main in the middle of the road. Given the nature of the previous repairs, and the clog of the drain line, we were told that we could try to have Citizens fix the problem, but that they would deny liability, and that a repair to dig into the street and fix the problem would cost north of $15k. (LOTS of details omitted here, for brevity)
I called NuFlow to see if their technology might be able to help us. After speaking with a super nice woman who answered the phone, I spoke with Dave the owner (and plumber extraordinaire of 33 years) about the capabilities of the technology. After diagnosing our problem, he said it would be worth contacting Citizens, just in case. And in the event that Citizens did not claim responsibility, that he could beat the price (not that he was trying to take work from the other shop). He had a great, friendly, field-op named Jason call me (in a matter of minutes). Jason already had all the details necessary, and said he was able to get the gentleman from Citizens who can make the appropriate decision about repair, to check out our situation in a matter of hours.
He then called me back about 3 hours later, indicating that Citizens would be starting work the next morning to repair our sewer line, under the road.
Not only did this save us an astronomical amount of money, when I offered to compensate both Jason and Dave (separate phone calls) for their time and effort, they declined and simply said that encouraging words for the company would be the best payment.
I hope we never need them, but if we do - we'll definitely be making 1 and only 1 phone call in the future. To anyone, especially in Broad Ripple, with these sorts of problems, I cannot recommend them highly enough.
The solid 5-star rating that you see is no lie. Honesty, integrity, and due diligence is the basis that this company operates on. -
If I could leave a negative star rating I would. I spoke with a new flu owner at length at the home show. Received a discount flier. Had to take personal time off work 3 times to accommodate their schedule, they don't work on Fridays. Each time they had equipment failures requiring more time off work to reschedule. Gas engine on the trailered equipment, camera broken on two occasions. Was promised to be given a high Def video after clean out. Never got it. They could have downloaded it on a thumb drive or DVD instead use an app that asks for way too many permissions and wants access to everything on your device so I declined. I offered to provide a brand new thumb drive, no reply. After paying two bills I had a contract that I would be credited the $900 for cleaning towards the cost of a lining. Since the camera broke again and they only did a partial cleaning they charged $450 not $900. I apparently have a small hole in my pipe under my slab and need about 26 feet to line the pipe. I was sent an estimate via text message, no written quote. I was not given the $450 discount towards my estimate, let alone any consideration for missing time at work due to there defective equipment and non flexible scheduling.
I've left 2 voice mails and emails with the owner I spoke with at the home show. He was the gentleman I called the first time to schedule and acted like I was bothering him by calling the main number in an attempt to schedule my first appointment.
I will say that the men who showed to work where professional and polite, management could take lessons from them
It's been many weeks with no reply and no offer to stand by our written contract we both agrred to. -
I recently sold my house in Indianapolis. During the process of selling the house, the buyer had the sewer line inspected. The inspector recommended a plumbing company to scope the sewer and assess it's condition. I had my realtor meet with a Nuflow representative at my house while the Nuflow tech scoped the sewer. The tech told my realtor that the sewer had an offset between the clay portion and the iron portion join, he also said this junction didn't need repair. I needed this in writing to show the home buyer that the sewer was in good working condition.
The next day I get an email from Jason stating the sewer needs a liner, cost $3175. He said they carefully reviewed the video and they noticed a problem. They also knew I was the seller and had to communicate this to the buyer...
My realtor recommended to have another company review the sewer, in fact, we had 2 other different professional plumbing companies individually scope the sewer and both said the sewer was in good working condition and did not need repair.
I know people have different points of view but in this case 3 people said the sewer was working well and 1 person (Jason from Nuflow) disagreed and wanted $3175 for the repair. Do what you want with my review but these are the facts. I would not have Nuflow do any work for me as in my opinion they are a dishonest company that just wanted my money. -
Nu-Flow installed a sewer pipe liner at my property and did an incredible job. They saved me a lot of trouble and money by offering the pipe liner option. I would recommend these guys to anyone who needs sewer line repair. Very responsive and helpful group.

The crew from nuflow came to my house and got my drain open and flowing. They found an issue in my pipes with roots growing through and breaking my drain. They were able to diagnose the issue and quoted me options. They came back out and lined my drain and saved me a ton of headache and cost over digging up my yard and removing trees. They were done quickly and everything has worked flawlessly ever since. Would recommend them over anyone!

Nuflow Indy did a great job on our complex project. We initially had another camera company look at our project and I was not satisfied with their service. I called Nuflow and they did a great job diagnosing our problem with several sewer lines running under a patio. They took the time to explain the situation to me. We settled on a liner but ran into some unforseen issues with that some old downspouts.
We utilized Nuflow's excavation division to perform a very deep dig in tight quarters and replace our plumbing lines. Nuflow did a fantastic job for us completing the project on schedule and to my satisfaction also working around a difficult weather schedule. Would love to work with nuflow on future projects.
James G. and Collins on the excavation crew were wonderful individual performers take care of those guys.
Nice work thanks, Ryan -
I solicited 4 different quotes to repair my sewer line. This was the only option that did not require digging up my yard and back porch. Or jackhammering a hole in my basement floor. The cost was also much less than the other quotes I received. I was provided a video that showed what the root invested sewer piped looked like before and after the new liner had been installed. The repair took less than 5 hours. The workers were very professional and there no mess to clean up afterwards. I highly recommend Nu Flo Indy.....

They were very knowledgeable and got me a new water heater installed right away! Also gave me helpful tips to make things more efficient and protect the new water heater. Also installed a new shower head which works great!!
-
I called on Nu Flow to perform a camera inspection of the sewer line. I was able to view the entire diagnostic process, while Service Technician, Mark, offered valuable insight and feedback. He performed added research and consulted with colleagues, to ensure a thorough assessment. In the end, the line was given a clean bill of health, and I was given peace of mind. Definitely recommend the team at Nu Flow!

I cannot speak highly enough about NuFlow Indy. We are working with a large amount of contractors right now and Jason and Bobby at Nu Flow have gone above and beyond and have provided exceptional service. They are hands down the best contractors across all platforms that we have worked with thus far. Jason does one little thing that goes a very long way and that is communication. Jason communicates everything during the process and always at the right time. He is also always available when I have needed to call in. If you aren't going with Nu Flow, I'm sorry. Best experience working with a company and I just can't speak highly enough as I stated in my opening. Thank you, Nu Flow!
