Highly Recommend Charley! He came out on a Sunday within a couple hours Of calling and replaced the capacitor on my air conditioning unit. Great guy, great prices! He even showed me how to clean the outside of the unit. Much appreciated!

Charlie and his team are phenomenal to work with! We were without heat for a little over a week after our furnance stopped working. Charlie came out to look at the job, asked my wife if we were going to be okay through the weekend (night temp was 33 degrees on Saturday). Our appointment was originally scheduled for Tuesday Nov. 4 but Charlie called and asked if they could complete the job on Saturday instead of waiting. Thank you to Northway Heating and Cooling for taking care of us!

I called Sunday evening & Charles Jr was at our house by 9am Monday morning. Our furnace was acting funny and he was quick to find the problem. The whole process was simple and quick! Luckily it was a simple fix. We will continue to reach out to Northway's for any future issues. Being professional & kind is definitely the way to go to keep your customers returning.

Charlie JR is a very trustworthy and honest man to deal with. He always communicates when he’s coming and exactly what he’s going to do. I started doing business with his dad and am now pleased that Charlie JR had taken over the business!

Our A/C went out on a Saturday. We called around and the earliest anyone else could get to us was Monday. We called Northway’s on Sunday. They were here within 15 minutes, and the unit was fixed 50 minutes after our initial call. Expected the worst when it came to the bill since it was Sunday, however it was very reasonable with no price hikes for expedited service. Highly impressed and will absolutely use them for any future needs.

Our air conditioner went out on a Sunday. I contacted Northway's Heating and Cooling. They responded right away. They were able to get a tech out the same day for no extra charge. The tech was prompt. He was able to quickly identify the problem and tell us what needed to be done with a price that was VERY reasonable. He got right to work and had us up and running again in no time. I was impressed with how professional he was. We will definitely be recommending and using Northway's again.

Charles came out the day after I called in (offered to come same day), diagnosed the problem and gave a verbal quote on the spot.
Followed up with detailed quote that was over 30% less than a competitor’s quote.
Work (furnace and water heater replacement, and addition of whole home humidifier) was done efficiently 2 days later. Guys were courteous and even talked through what it looked like to start working in the HVAC field, because I asked for my son.
Very happy and would highly recommend!

When my furnace died they came quickly to inspect. Decided I needed a new furnace and again fit me in right away. The price was fair and the workers were great. Highly recommend.

From initial call to them pulling away they treated us like we were life long friends. They were fast, friendly, and punctual. They had the A/C and furnace installed in less than 6 hours. Called Monday morning my furnace was out. They were out to check it by noon, unfortunately had damage beyond repair but they were back the next morning 830am to install. Did not charge for the service check either. Best in des moines metro.

Part of a large tree smashed our outdoor A/C unit. We called Northway to come replace it. They came out the next morning to give an estimate. Two days later they came out and replaced the unit. I was impressed with how quick and efficient they were.

As usual, nothing but excellent service and reasonable prices. One morning I found out I needed to replace my AC. Gavin arrived first thing the following morning and got it done. He even did some light landscaping work - he leveled out the ground to set a pad on it for the AC unit to sit on (my original unit just sat on blocks). I will always support small businesses like this instead of giving it to the big guys that want nothing but your money and take you to the cleaners.

I honestly paid $4,000 less than other companies. To me, that’s a huge savings. I had 4 other options and these guys were by far the best. Let it be known I hate posting reviews but this one I had to. Also after they were done, Cameron explained everything to me that was important for me to know going forward. I’m super pleased.

"Call 515-comfort, we fix it right or its free service legends." Well my new furnace that was installed by service legends doesnt work and heat wasnt fixed right. My house is freezing and had to turn on the space heaters so my water lines dont burst. Best thing they could do was tell them to call back this afternoon to see it works. Really, it had all even, night and morning to work i shouldnt have to bring the space heaters back in
