Corbin was clear at communication. All around a good experience with modern. I felt understood and was treated respectfully. Also, the prices were more reasonable than other quotes I had received.

The Modern team was so responsive! They communicated very well and advocated for me. I had a very old system, so when multiple parts needed a cascade of repairs they kept coming back. They also set me up with a unique temporary repair that allowed me to stay comfortable while I waited for a new system to go through with my warranty. I am so impressed by their commitment, knowledge and service!!

Modern Heating and cooling has worked on a couple of problems that we have had in our home. We had a problem with our air conditioner and the response time was one hour to completely resolved. Six months ago I reached back out because our water heater stopped working. I was able to reset system with a tech from the phone.. You want to talk about customer service. I could not ask for any better! The professionalism that they provided in both encounters was wonderful.

We ordered a furnace and a/c unit through the Home Depot sales company, and Modern came out and did the install. Josh and Braden (sp?) were great! Despite my dogs barking and being dogs, they were very efficient and friendly all around. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any install or service work.

It was a pleasure when his company ran a contest for a new furnace. We won! Him and his wonderful installers arrive removed,and did what they had to place our old one. It has been a great experience and meet all of those involved. I wouldn't go anywhere else for any of their company work, heat and more. Thanks, Shirley, Terry Burger.

Aside from being extremely knowledgeable in their field, six of the individuals I have worked with so far, were very friendly and professional. Their rates are reasonable and my company plans to use Modern in many more projects in the future.
I also used them in my personal house to fix boiler problems I was experiencing. They exceeded my expectations and made my family happy to have a warm home this winter.

Our family LOVED working with Modern Heating and Air; Corbin did a great job talking us through all the options and answering all our questions. Darren H. and Thomas R. showed up ready to get the job done and were respectful and amazing to work with. We are loving our new Heat Pump. They did an emergency HVAC replacement and they made sure we had temporary cooling while the work was being done; and helped us to know how to use those temporary items. This team was the most knowledgeable about new home heating technology. They took the most care in making sure that what they were putting in worked with our specific house; instead of just slapping in whatever they had in the warehouse.

Corbin and the team with Modern Heating and Air are fantastic. Corbin is responsive and knowledgeable and their techs are prompt and efficient. Modern makes it easy to schedule an appointment and they were very quick to come out when our ac unit stopped working in the middle of summer. I'm thankful we have Modern Heating and Air to call when something goes wrong.

The technician arrived on time and was very professional. He explained his work, but I had to hop on a work call while he finished up. He was quick and efficient.

I had a fantastic experience with Modern Heating and Air! I called them out to replace my water heater, fully expecting to have to purchase a new unit. I was pleasantly surprised when the technician, instead of just swapping it out, took the time to inspect it thoroughly. They identified that the issue was just dirty pilot assembly and thermocouple after a good cleaning, my water heater is working like new again! it's so refreshing to do business with a company that is honest and reliable, they're Integrity save me a lot of money, and they definitely earned my business for any future heating air or plumbing needs. My furnace wasn’t working. It was very cold. Once they got the service order, they were here in less than an hour. I am sorry, IJordan P. Was the HVAC man that did the repairs. He was very informative. Explained everything and answered all my question. A very pleasant fellow, polite and helpful. The heat was up and running in no time. Will definitely use again.

I worked with Corbin on a furnace replacement. I was able to get a consult and installation appointment quickly. When the installation team discovered an issue with our (very old) regulators, I reached back out to a Corbin and he was walked me through the issue and the steps I’d need to take to correct it. He kept me updated every step of the way and got a tech back out to our place the same day the regulators were replaced to ensure my new and existing furnaces were both running properly. I greatly appreciated the clear communication and the speedy service. Outstanding customer service all around from Modern Heating!

Best HVAC company we have worked with in the Des Moines area. We had them fix our AC at our old house and when our new house had to replace our Furnace and AC we quoted multiple places. Modern was the most honest and upfront of all of them. They provided their best quote out of the gate which I can't say for the others. They did an amazing job during install and tuning it after. When we said we had some whistling from the vents they came out to adjust them to make sure we were happy. I am happy we have found our HVAC company in Des Moines. Would recommend to anyone looking for a repair or entire system.

I had the Woods Bibbin crew work on upgrading the outdated electrical system in my house to get it ready to sell. They showed up on time, completed the job early and under budget. The house sold (for over asking!) and passed inspection. A+ would recommend to anyone.
