We live north of Ames, Iowa, yet drive to Grimes to purchase replacement trees that the Derecho destroyed. We have purchased mainly red oaks two years in a row and all are doing well. Had one that they replaced, no questions asked. Followed the instructions on the planting tips and was simple. This year we also added to the trees, a dogwood bush and 7 hydrangeas. They are all thriving. Nice people to work with, so knowledgable! We will be back next spring for a few more trees and shrubs, and flowers! Our driveway is lined with red oaks. They are so personable. A young lady saw me walking around with a few plants and brought me a cart. They're prices are super reasonable and I love the variety they carry.

We love this place for the plants! It was so fun to spend a Saturday morning in the fall here! We got some awesome carnivorous plants, and the team even had a coffee trailer where they provided us with drinks! You can't beat their friendly staff and service!

We purchased 2 Autumn Blaze Maples from Bentley Ridge. They have an amazing selection of trees to choose from! Cody did an awesome job of assisting us with the selection and purchase of our trees! We left with information on how to care for our trees. We had Bentley Ridge plant our trees the crew did an outstanding job!

We purchased a replacement tree for our Ash after the borers killed it. Despite our best efforts the replacement tree didn’t survive the winter. Bentley Ridge gave us a credit and planted that tree. Very satisfied with the process and our new tree is growing nicely.

I came to Bentley Ridge Tree Farms and Nursery to find some ground cover for a corner of my house where poor drainage, erosion, and those dang little cute, annoying, property destroying ground squirrels had destroyed a limestone retaining wall that I had. When I got there all I had was a few pics I took from the internet of some ideas I researched from the night before. Let me preface this, I do NOT like to shop and dreaded being there for hours, and was basically clueless of what to do! Then I was introduced to Jasmarie, she was AMAZING!! She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate, I showed her pics of my house and what I was looking for and then that girl was on a mission!! With little hesitation we were off and running, she already had her vision for my needs! She shared her ideas, asked for my opinion and I was just in awe of her and so delighted she made this dreaded chore an actual enjoyable learning experience for me and being a retired teacher I appreciated it! I just sat back and let her take the reins, as through her knowledge and passion she earned my trust! She showed me how I should organize the plants for when I got home, made me take pics, and continued to answer questions after I got home and started planting. It was an unexpected pleasure to meet and work with Jasmarie I would definitely recommend her for all your landscaping/planting needs!!

Always have such a great experience at Bentley Ridge! Their greenhouse has been a life saver during these cold, dreary winter days. They have a beautiful selection of plants and the sweetest staff. Everyone is super helpful and nice but my favorite is Cherie. She is so knowledgeable and goes above and beyond trying to help you find that perfect new plant! Her expertise is something I truly value every time I go in. Love this place!

Fabulous, friendly staff who are extremely knowledgeable about all the green growing things. Willing to spend time with a customer to offer advice and suggestions or help with planning ahead for next year. Plus they have gorgeous jeweled toned mums on sale right now, they even have tricolor pots so 3 for the price of 1!!

This place should be ashamed of itself selling underwater trees, and vines, then telling me it’s my fault for Trusting their name and buying it When I thought I was buying a good product, 1 month of watering still no recovery. I wont be back here again! This is how all of their grapes look like horrible business needs to b shut down!

We were excited to hire them to trim our tree in the backyard with their great ratings and reviews. At first, the customer service was amazing, which is why we chose them. They were supposed to come on a Thursday, then Friday, then it turned into Monday. I reached out that Sunday as I had not heard anything, so communication declined quickly. When I got home from work on Monday, I balled my eyes out. They did a horrible job; destroyed plants, put big holes in the yard, broke out the window in the tree house, did not trim the tree as low as the proposal pictured. My husband called them on the 23rd of April to see if they would fix the damage, trim the tree lower. They told my husband they would be out to fix the holes in the yard and reevaluate the tree, but that still has not happened weeks later. This has been a horrible experience for us.

My husband had been for some time looking for a dependable and reasonable tree service that would take care of our needs relating to the large tree that had outgrown in the front yard. A representative from Arbor Masters called right away when we enquired about the service, came out on the same day and gave a quote after looking at the tree and asking my husband what he wanted done. Not only did they take care of the needs they picked up the debris and the extra limbs & leaves from the yard. Very professional from the beginning to the end. All four men even looked like they enjoyed doing it.

My poor baby Gypsy was missing for going on 5 days.

Late last night after one last walk around before bed, I finally heard her little meow. Little did I know it was coming from above me as this girl climbed up a massive tree in my neighbor's yard. We called around forever trying to find someone who can help. Fire stations say they only help on TV. Most of my other resources were out of the metro for other projects so I was quickly running out of options After all the calls, tears and defeat (we are predicted major storms tonight)....ARBOR MASTERS showed up. Ryan and Brady were beyond amazing, compassionate and professional. I expressed the importance of this cat to them since I got it when my mom was alive at the very start of her cancer journey and she was the one who named her. We chatted for a brief moment but they were ready to immediately jump in and save my sweet girl. They went absolutely above and beyond.

Ryan, your bravery is insane. You are definitely a hero and I am so grateful for you both!

Professional arborists who are supported by a hardworking tree removal crew. They Went to work and got the 29 yer old sick aspen tree removed, and trimming of shrubs and other trees as well as stump removal was done in about five hrs. I asked to save some of the Aspen trunk and branches, and they complied. Clean up was better than average. Their service equipment is in good shape.

Glad it’s done and done well.
