Eric came out to replace our water heater. He was knowledgeable, professional, and tidy. The job was done quickly and we got a great warranty! We are definitely returning customers.

We had an issue with our water line. The outside faucet had an icicle the size of my arm, actually. My call was answered on a Sunday and the technician came on Monday. He was capable, efficient and pleasant.

Very sweet and knowledgeable. He’s the one who originally found that my last/old furnace was dangerously to turn due to possible carbon monoxide leaks and he also saw to it that that toilet would get fixed. so he deemed it unsafe so he disabled it. Excellent service very informative. Very nice guy getting me more help tomorrow. Helluva guy!

Attach carbon monoxide leak dornell caught and shut it down until repaired or replaced, luckily I had turned my furnace on yet!

I added a pic of the bracket on the left of vent that dornell added to keep the cold air return from banging. It wasn’t easy. He had to act like a contortionist 😳😂 to get the job done. BUT he didn’t it and it worked

Dick Ray also did a lot of plumbing jobs for me.

There were a few complications because the toilet was very stubborn but luckily Eric came back and took care of the issue.

If there’s any problem there happy to come back. Their goal and promise is customer satisfaction.

Great experience with Dornell Thomas Jr. He explained what the furnace tune-up entailed, what to look for, and preventative actions I can take throughout the year. He was personable, articulate, and knowledgeable. Unfortunate that a subscription is needed to receive the best price, though.

Eric was great; friendly and professional. He was able to come by a couple of hours after the surprise failure (highly recommend a simple water sensor for the floor around a water heater--saved us from a waterlogged basement) and get us swapped out the same day. Water heaters have really exploded in price since my last purchase 8 years ago, but they had a good financing plan that reduced the pain. Thanks again!

This is the first time we've used Dick Ray for a major plumbing issue and I could not be more pleased; both Anthony and JR were friendly, polite, knowledgable and a far cry from the service I've previously received from a competitor. So refreshing! We will definitely call again!

Came out on a saturday and the repairs kept mounting. Eric was very reassuring and relaxing and wanted only to help us the most. He was a fantastic master plumber and one of the few tradesman I have come accross you can really put your faith in. He is the standard.

Superb! Veronica confirmed the night before. Then gave me a call45 minutes out. Two techs arrived. Very affable. They completed a thorough furnace check. Changed the humidifier pad and filter and unclogged the humidifier drain hose, averting a potential water overflow. Couldn’t be more delighted 😁

The review that talks about Clinton is wrong. my technician was Keith Travis and he was great. He found a couple different problems that have been lingering for almost a decade and made the correct fix. It was much more money than I expected, but they are things we need to get done. Keith helped us a little on pricing. I feel like he did what he could.

Vince was amazing! I think I called just to schedule someone to come and look at things and by the end of the week everything was done. Vince was very thorough, explained all of our options, gave us pros and cons, and was just overall enjoyable to work with. He also looked at a couple of other projects we plan to do and gave us advice on those, what we needed to do, and when to call him to come out and do the work on those projects as well. We look forward to working with him on our future projects and any repairs, etc.

Also, the very same day I called, the office called me back and Sam had a cancellation and could come that afternoon. He came, inspected everything, provided options and quotes, and did all the work that day! Awesome experience.

10/30/2025 Vincent did a great and thorough job making a slight adjustment to make sure everything else was still working correctly.

11/2024 Plumbing this time...Jesse & Matthew installed a regulator valve, main water shut off and two sets of under-sink shut offs. They were courteous, efficient, quiet and clean...and cussed a whole lot less (like not at all) than I would have had I tried any of this on my own. Thanks! P.S. Still happy with the HVAC from a couple weeks ago.

10/31/2024 Day 1 and I am very pleased--replaced 24 year-old, still-kicking York 1-stage furnace/AC with York 2-stage furnace and heat pump. Dick Ray (locally owned!) undercut an estimate from another contractor, for similar equipment, by $5000, without knowing the amount of the previous estimate. "Comfort advisor" Kirk was very technically knowledgeable, generous with information, quick to answer my many questions and pragmatic. Installer, Jeffory, and his partner were very professional, focused and efficient--had the job complete and cleaned up in about 5 hours. I feel very confident in my purchase and thankful that I chose Dick Ray.

We were very pleased with our visit with the technician from Dick Ray Master Plumber Hearing and Cooling. They were friendly, courteous, and professional. They answered our questions, and were very informative. The technician had an apprentice with him. We were very pleased!! We are huge fans of Mike Rowe, an avid spokesperson for the trades, so we were also pleased that Dick Ray is actively supporting our young men and women seeking employment opportunities within the trade community!! Thank you so much!!!

Kyle did a fantastic job and diagnosed and resolved issue in minutes.

On another visit, Dornell did a thorough job servicing, explaining current and upcoming furnace situation and how to get more comfort with current system as well as potential upgrades.

This company is a total ripoff. They use deceptive language to get in the door and then they threaten you for higher fees. They wanted to charge $365 clear simple drain that we have had cleared several times by several different companies throughout the area for $79. When talking to them on the phone I said I needed to drain unclogged and they said it was $79 for the service fee. I assume that that was to actually clear the drain since everyone else does it for $79. But when they got here they wanted $365. I should have done more research not even accredited by the better Business bureau that should tell you something. Stay away from these guys at all cost.

Eric installed a water softener, pressure regulator and a valve. answered my questions thoroughly and did a fantastic job. He explained everything he was doing and was very kind and I would definitely hire him again, and plan to do so for another job!

Extremely knowledgeable, professional, and energetic! They explained my home's plumbing needs/ priorities clearly and took the time to ensure I fully understood my options. I truly appreciated their no-rush attitude, allowing me to review and act on estimates at my own pace.

My husband called because of the $79 drain clean commercial. When the tech got here he didn't even bother to tell me his name. He looked around and told me it would be $364 to clear my main floor drain. When I told him I couldn't afford that, he changed the price to 200 without even blinking. Before I could answer he said if you don't pay $200 I'll charge you $79 for looking at it and you will have to call someone else. I feel so scammed and threatened. It sucks working with this company. One star, would not recommend. Not sure if this happened because I was a female home alone or it is just a bad company.
