Called on a weekend and knew I'd have to pay more for the service call but was surprised when they said it was only $150 for the service call. The real surprise came when they had to replace a $20 part and I was charged $200 for the part!!!! I understand they have to make money but 10 times the price on parts! My husband told the technician that we were not pleased with a $350 bill for a 10 minute job and he said "I could care less what you write in your review!" Really??? That's how this company talks to their customers? No thank you!!!! I will NEVER use them again and definitely won't be recommending them!

Called to request a quote on a new unit and immediately upon arrival, the sales rep noticed an issue with our existing unit. He made a quick repair which saved us a TON of money on utility (which we’d spent months pondering the reason for increase, after a repair from another company). He quoted us an amazing price on a new unit
and was absolutely great. Highly recommend!

No stars because these people are parts changers service guy changed parts on my furnace that didn't need to be changed because of a burnt wire cost me over $500 for a New Part when the only thing that was wrong with it was a burnt up wire. I called their office talked to owner of company said he would get back with me with my part that the guy took out that was still good .Never did call me back. Till this day my furnace still doesn't work right

They was very polite and professional. They installed a new hvac system for us and they was very quick on coming out and replacing our old one. They made sure everything was working and running before they left. I highly recommend them to anyone and will continue to use them.

Highly recommended heating and cooling company. A repair place in Huntington said I needed a new unit for $10,000. I'm glad I got a second opinion; it was fixed for under $100. Very honest people; I will use them again.

I called Polar Bear after i was giving a quote of over 3k by another company that said it needed the coiled replace and i had a leak but it turned out the inside coils just needed cleaning not replace .. a Big shoutout to Scot Wilson for saving the day !!!

I just want to say how satisfied I am with Polar Bear Heating and Air! I want to express how transparent this review is, as I don't review things very much unless they've truly outdone themselves! I can definitely say Polar Bear Heating and Air definitely outdid themselves! I can say that my husband and I are truly satisfied with the service that we received today! Michael Hurst went above and beyond for us, he was able to diagnose our gas heating unit. On top of that he was able to get it up and going as of today! We had a local company come in on Saturday and they told us that the gas valve and the circuit board would need to be replaced, and they stated it would be over $1,000 to do so. Then they stated that they could not provide an estimate till Monday, nor could they fix the issue till after they have given a quote in order to all the parts. We could be a week without service..We gave polar bear a call for a second opinion. We were quickly scheduled a free dianostic for Monday! Michael called ahead and even showed up 30 minutes early. He was very thorough and already have the part in his van, and was able to get the situation resolved within an hour. Not only that, but Michael was able to test the circuit board and confirm that the issue was only the gas valve and that the circuit board was working as it should be. Polar bear Heating and Air saved me over $1,000 and was able to get my heat up and going the same day! The people from the other company never did call me back with the quote as they promised that they would do. I find that polar bear heating air was very trustworthy, honest and fair in the handling of their customers! We will definitely be using them again in the future!

Guys arrived on time, very courteous and professional. Fixed issues with duct work and thermostat and replaced my whole system in a days time. They didn’t leave until they made sure everything was running properly. Would highly recommend. Anthony was the service tech that initially came out for the service call and was very knowledgeable. Jarrod, Kameron, and Charlie came to install my new unit and were top notch!

During the annual servicing of my gas furnace it was discovered that the combustion chamber had a crack and was allowing carbon monoxide to escape through the air vents in my home. Braydon Wilks and his crew installed a new furnace in a very timely and professional manner. I am very pleased with the work done and happy to recommend Polar Bear Heating and Air to anyone needing help. The crew was very courteous and professional and I will continue to use their services.

This is going to be a long review, definitely an honest one and worth the read. So I purchased a 3 ton unit with ductwork from Anthony, after having 2 others might as well say 5 star companies. I’m all about reviews… They blew the other estimates out of the water ! So I had questions on the unit and picked the best one that suit our needs, I asked if the other guys was good and took pride in their work. With us having a new born we really needed it done fast but we needed it done correctly and with pride in their work. With any type of service work there is always hiccups, took them 4 days to complete the job but it was well worth the wait. A week and a half later my emergency heat stop working so I called polar bear back and they was out on a Saturday just to look at my unit ! Of course the only thing wrong was a loose wire so quick and easy fix. Anthony and Charlie took great care of everything my wife absolutely love them, ment a lot to me because I couldn’t be there. They went over everything with her and made sure that she knew how to operate everything. So hats off to polar bear heating and cooling ! You earn my business can’t wait for summer for our normal maintenance!
