Wares has had the patience of a saint with our large job.

The house we purchased did not have any ductwork, and had to be retrofitted for HVAC. Matt listened to our needs and concerns, came up with a great plan— heat pump for part of the house, with mini-splits for the over garage rooms— including air filters for the ongoing viral/air quality concerns.

He’s been very responsive, even as a separate electrical contractor issue has unexpectedly drawn out the project.

I feel the pricing has been very competitive, and like he has truly placed in our home the same systems and care he would in his own.

They were efficient and came the same day I called. Matt accommodated my work schedule to get my AC repaired! I highly recommend!

Our unit was obsolete and he did a lot to modify the motor so it would work. But the pricing wasn't discussed until the very end and when we were expecting 250 having that changed to 815 and having no discussion of the price jump prior to the payment.

Especially since we would have much rather put that money towards a new unit as opposed to a three week fix. (The fix lasted three weeks and it wasn't the only problem after having another company come out and assess, so 815 for nothing)

I'm thankful he did the work but be prepared to not know anything about pricing until the bill comes due as a five hundred dollar difference doesn't seem to be a big deal for this company.

Our air conditioner stopped working in the middle of the night so we called this place & this guy was more than ready to help us get our air fixed on his way to work! He was very polite & professional I would highly recommend them

Matt and T.J went above and beyond to give us the best services when repairing our HVAC system. They put in countless hours and continued to work in inclement weather to get the job done and make sure it was done correctly! They make a great team and are so friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend them if you need any HVAC services. You won't be sorry!

Matt and his crew were wonderful! They were very responsive and kept me updated through the process. They replaced our unit, all the duct work, added in a return, sump pump and dehumidifier. They were wonderful! They disposed of all the old materials and cleaned up absolutely everything! The crew was very respectful and worked incredibly hard! I have finally found a heating & air company I can depend on! Highly recommend them!

I moved to the Lexington area from out state a year ago and needed to secure a HVAC company for my new home. After reading good reviews about Ware, I decided to hire them to service the HVAC system and possibly put me on an annual maintenance contact. So far, I have been pleased with their great service and communication. Kody has been here the most and he is very professional and knowledgeable. Matt who I believe is the owner, also has excellent communication and is quick to get you on their schedule. Their service contract is a good to sign up for too. Highly recommend.

Ware replaced my home HVAC system quickly and professionally. They subbed carpentry work to improve access to my attic before their installation. All my contact was when I was out of town. Communication was excellent, email, phone, or in person. Highly recommended

My builder hired Ware's Heating and Cooling in 2024 to put in the HVAC at my new construction in Frankfort. Once installed and inspected, I walked in and took a video of the knocking and loud hum coming from the HVAC. I relayed this to the builder who reached out to Mr Ware and asked for him to come back and service the unit. Mr. Ware refused to return and has not to this day. I had to hire a new contractor to come in and service the unit and even add more returns in the floors as they found the system to be inadequate for the home. This cost me $2605.92. At the time and per contract with my builder, I owed a balance of $8,000 (per text messages between Mr Ware and my builder and per the original quote). Mr Ware added another $1120 to that and claimed that I owed $9120 for the broke system he refused to return and repair. Nevertheless, I paid Mr Ware the difference of what was owed (actually $8000, not $9120) and what I had to pay to get the system serviceable ($2605.92). I paid Mr Ware $5394.08 by Ck 1020 dtd 10/17/24. Mr. Ware acknowledged receipt of this check 10/23/24 via text to me. Mr. Ware then filed a mechanic's lien with Attorneys in Frankfort on 11/1/2024 (date of lien) for $9120 totally negating the $5394.08 paid to him and acknowledged by him 10/23/24. I have tried to resolve this matter ever since with Mr Ware and the Attorney's office to no avail. I have since had to replace the entire, brand new Main floor and basement HVAC as it was again found to be inadequate for the home by Contractors finishing out the basement. This cost me an additional $10,800 in lieu of the total of $17,394.08 paid to Mr Ware to date. I finally was able to get my first tenant in the home 7/1/25 who discovered the 2d unit, 2d floor to be unserviceable. It was repaired recently for $1,100 by a local reputable company. I have asked Mr Ware to release the lien and have been told by his attorney he would settle for $3806.60, yet he has not corrected the lien. I have asked him and his attorney to at least correct the amount of the lien to show what Mr Ware was actually paid, I was again told he would settle for $3806.60 and the lien has not been corrected. To date, I have $29,294.08 invested into a system quoted for $20,000 and am still being charged another $9120 (ignoring by $5394.08 payment) on a lien. I am unable to close my loan (finally) due to this pending lien. I didn't even hire Mr Ware but I am left to suffer the consequences.

The guys did a phenomenal job from start to finish! They even answered questions I had along the way. All of the old equipment was taken away and they even vacuumed when they were done. Highly recommend.

Matt is a great guy, plus He's prompt, fair, courteous, and always does an amazing job. If you're "on the fence" about who to call, just make it easy on yourself and call Ware's!! You'll be happy you did!

Mr. Ware installed our unit in 2021 and we have had multiple problems with the duct work. Refer to this most recent photo to see his quality of work and the subsequent response when we call him to fix the issue. Claims it isn’t “his responsibility to babysit our unit” and that he “doesn’t know how long duct work should last.” Very unprofessional and unwilling to assist without a $250 assessment fee. Will never recommend his business to anyone.

Amazing experience with Matt! We were recommended this company by a family member and when our capacitor went out, we called and Matt came right over before he ended his day. Exemplary service! Great price! Respectful and wonder guy! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for their services.

10/10 would recommend Ware’s to any and everyone having a heating issue! Our furnace/igniter went out and our house was freezing! We called them first thing this morning and they were here in less than 2 hours. They are fantastic!!

This was my first time using Ware’s. Matt came to my house within an hour of me calling. He was very nice, respectful and had a good idea of what our issue was. Had everything checked out and good to go quickly. He even helped me with another issue regarding our house just in conversation we were having. Very pleasant experience and I will definitely be using his services for future issues and maintenance.

Matt Ware is a Godsend! Our air went out during the hottest time of the summer of 2025. Ware's Heating & Cooling was booked up, so we called another company who could get to us within a couple of days. The company came out, charged the air, then charged a very high price with a discount if we signed up with their "check up" services. In our desperation, we agreed. We had air for approximately 3 weeks(the refrigerant leaked out).
We decided to try Mr. Ware again. He wasn't available for about 10 days, but was so kind to provide us with a Portable AC unit until he could install a new HVAC system.
We were so appreciative, and cool.
Our air and heat work well. We are very pleased with the service we received from Ware's Heating & Cooling!
Additionally, the cost was affordable.

Excellent customer service from the first phone call until repairs completed. Jonah is our technician and could not be nicer and more professional. Explained and showed me the problem as he worked. I’m signed up now for twice a year service calls to inspect my hvac system before summer and winter. One less thing to worry about thank you Jonah and Titan!!
