I regularly work with Synergy HVAC, taking care of all our new construction needs. Whether it be Bryson, Tasian, or Rueben completing our rough-ins or Darrell, Brandon & Scott fine tuning them at completion. Customers are always very happy with their install and any follow-up needs. We'll continue working with them in the future.

⚠️ Unsafe Generator Install • Safety Shut-Off
Synergy Home installed my generator in April. From day one, wiring errors caused failures during multiple outages — several service calls before July, but the real issues weren’t found. In July, water from faulty conduit installation dripped into the electrical box, causing a burning smell; KY Utilities shut off my power for safety.

Synergy restarted it but missed the cause. Weeks later, a Generac load test failed again, with more burning smell — they declared it unsafe. Only then did Synergy send a different tech, who found bad wiring, broken seal, and water intrusion.

After months of unsafe operation, their “compensation” was a 5-year service contract… meaning the same company that created the hazard would be responsible for maintaining it.

NOTE: Don’t be fooled by the reasonable sounding comment if you see it below. Just boiler plate language they add that demonstrates their lack of real acknowledgment of the dangerous situation they created. When I get a real response I’ll update this. I’d love to give you all a happy ending where I change this to a 5 star. That is up to Synergy. Been over a month since this was posted. Months later - Silence from Synergy.

I really appreciate how friendly and how professional Chad was in diagnosing and fixing our geothermal system. I was happy that he suggested that we sign up for the maintenance schedule. I had an outstanding experience with Synergy Home, and I want to especially recognize Drew for his excellent service. He was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was done right. He took the time to explain what he was doing, offered helpful advice, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. It’s rare to find someone who combines great technical skill with such friendly customer service, but Drew did exactly that.

I'm not sure if it's a C or a K but Cramer did an awesome job. Cold air was coming in around the registers and he added some screws and aluminum tape to secure them better. He was thorough and professional and knows his job. He was a pleasure to work with. I will write his name down and ask for him personally if I need HVAC service again.

Justin Dixon did an awesome job with my HVAC check-up. Super friendly, showed up on time, and was very knowledgeable. He checked the whole system, made sure it was running smoothly, and didn’t rush through anything. He explained what he was doing and how we can keep our unit running efficiently. I had a great experience with Gibson Heating. Technician Scott Holmes was professional, patient, and thorough. He took the time to answer all my questions, explained the issue clearly, and made sure everything was working correctly before he left. The same-day service was a huge plus. I highly recommend Gibson Heating!

Gibson was quick to respond to a no heat call to my home on the same day. It was only 9 degrees outside . Scott and Dixon were the service technicians. They are polite, friendly and professional. They were able to get my furnace up and working. I greatly appreciated it. I would highly recommend Gibson H0eating to anyone needing service.

I was without air-conditioning for a week during one of the hottest weeks of the year. I called my friend who works at synergy home. He came out right away for me On Monday and assessed the situation. Determined that I needed A new AC compressor and coil. The owner of the company ended up coming out and helping with the estimate and checking my system over. Such a nice guy and really cares about his clients.

This was on Monday. By Wednesday, they had me up and and running. To say they went above and beyond would be an understatement. A big thank you to Justin, Scott, and everybody involved in getting my air conditioner issue solved. I cannot recommend this company enough! Again, above and beyond would be an understatement. Their customer service is second to none! I will use no other company than synergy Home from here on out. Highly recommended! Five stars all around!

We lost our heat just before the temperature plummeted. Called another local company (FHA) who didn't do a great job diagnosing the issue. I, not knowing better, spent nearly $700 for a small part that solved the issue for a couple hours before the heat went out again. Synergy was incredibly professional and helpful. Thank you to Bryson and Davy for the installation! They were both kind and professional and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. Our tech, Drew, and salesman, Brandon, were very knowledgeable and I could tell they really cared about getting us taken care of. Our heat exchanger was broken, and Brandon pointed out we were at risk of carbon monoxide leaks. He advised we shut our system off and even offered to bring us some space heaters. That part I spent $700 on? Synergy was nice enough to give us a little bit of a discount for having already spent something which was really great. We will certainly be going to Synergy for all of our heating/cooling needs from now on!

We had our HVAC replaced and our ducts repaired. Tasian and Reuben did an excellent job. They are very professional and polite and explained what was going on. We are very pleased with their work. They cleaned everything up before they left. I recommend Tasian and Reuben because they know their jobs. I will call if I need anything them again.

This company , from estimator, to the 2 great fellas who installed (Austin and James )and made the not so easy to connect …. ( thru very small crawl space ) of a Generac generator were wonderful! They were exactly on time, completed the job in less than 1/2 a day, and carefully cleaned up work areas . AND it was a rainy miserable day. Highly recommend this company. Here is your 5 STAR locally owned HVAC ( plus other things) go to company.

I'd give this company a 100 stars out of 5 if Google would let me.

One of my AC units messed up and I called a different HVAC company in Lexington to come give me a quote on getting it repaired. I was told that it would cost over $2800 to repair my unit, but was strongly urged to purchase a new HVAC system, as the malfunctioning system is over 10 years old and was likely to just turn into a money pit.

Now, for context, I had used this other HVAC company to replace a different HVAC unit about 18 months prior, and had paid almost $13,000 for the unit & installation. I didn't get any other quotes for the job, and that's on me.

Now fast forward back to this week, and I was quoted out the exact same heat pump unit as I had gotten 18 months before, with a less efficient furnace (80% vs 96%), but instead of $13,000, it was going to be over $17,000 this time.

I felt that this $17,000 quote was just egregious, so after doing some research on Reddit, I found someone recommending Comfort Technologies Heating and Cooling. I called them on Tuesday morning, and was able to schedule an appointment for Wednesday afternoon for Josh Moore to come out and take a look at my system.

Josh was at my house for less than 20 minutes, and was able to repair my malfunctioning AC unit for a few hundred bucks. Within 5 minutes, he had diagnosed the issue and determined a single part is all that needed to be replaced, vs the $2800 worth of repairs I had been quoted the first time.

If you're in need of HVAC services, do yourself a favor and call this company immediately. I guarantee they'll be the first company I call when it does come time to replace my HVAC system in the future.

Their drivers like to cut you off in traffic, then slam on their brakes to try to get you to hit them, then when you don't, they'll flip you off. Very unprofessional!
