I rarely leave negative reviews, and I see all the positive reviews for Climate Control below, but in this case I feel it is warranted to share my experience with others. I recently purchased a new home in the Lexington area and before I closed, I had Climate Control come and do a full system check since they have serviced this system for 10 years for the previous owner. I closed on the house later that month feeling confident nothing was wrong with the Geothermal system. Just 3 weeks after closing, my water furnace stops working properly and faults out. Climate Control sends a technician out (which they charged a “site visit” fee for, despite having been there a little over a month ago). After that visit, they present me with a pretty large estimate to replace an evaporator coil and recharge the system. I called another local geothermal vendor for a second opinion (who for review neutrality I will not name here but you can see my other reviews) who not only sent a technician to investigate the system at no cost- but then successfully performed the identical repair (complete evaporator coil replacement and system recharge) for $800 less. Although everyone I worked with at Climate Control was cordial and professional, I have to question my experience of paying for an inspection, then paying for a quote, then having that quote be considerably higher than others.

We honestly have never a better technician in our home!! Seth was so intelligent about our heat and air system. Then add his kind honest respectful personality! This experience was beyond exceptional customer service!! Thank you Laurie for your awesomeness from start go ! We will recommend Greenbox to all family and friends… I am glad to be a yearly customer… many blessings to all the Greenbox team!!

Jordan Harm and his team did a great install of our new Lennox Furnace/AC combo unit. All communication from estimate to install was impeccable. Brandon gave us a fair estimate and gave thorough education so we could make a good decision for our home.

Andrew Wiseman was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. He was was very considerate in keeping his work quiet, since he knew I had a sleeping baby in the house.

This is my second experience with Climate Control. They replaced my furnace 5 years ago and did a beautiful job. Our heating bill dropped significantly and this new unit is so quiet! Recently we bought a replacement 3 ton A/C unit. I love it and the job they did putting it in. Very professional and high quality work. I did not expect our cooling to improve so dramatically, but it did. We love our new high efficiency unit.

We had an AC unit replaced. We went with this company because the sales rep seemed very nice, the prices seemed reasonable, and they took care of getting all the inspection tags. Unfortunately, when the crew came, they installed the unit incorrectly and had to re-do it all (it took the whole day). Then, they left a few screws loose on the unit, and someone had to come adjust it because it was sounding very loud. And the process of getting the tags took months and months. Overall, they were diligent about fixing their mistakes, but many of these mistakes were easily avoidable and should not have happened in the first place.

We recently had a new mini split system installed. We had a very good experience with Climate Control. Everything was professional from the start. Brandon in sales helped us get started. Travis and Christian were our installers. They took care to keep house clean-wore shoe coverings, put down drop cloths and wore masks for safety. The whole job was complete in a few short hours. We are very happy with our choice.

Matt was extra ordinary in diagnosing my system and making the required repairs. Very personable and friendly technician. Would highly recommend Matt for anything related to HVAC. Had to wait for a while for replacement parts but they were installed quickly and professionally.

I purchased a new air conditioning unit and after 2 years the condenser had a Freon leak!

I got an invoice for the labor and the Freon. When I asked about the warranty the excuse was they did not replace the condenser but fixed the leak and charged for labor and Freon. Wow, the ten year warranty is definitely only parts and only words. So, if they glue parts back together; they charge for the lemon unit they sold you in the first place : I think two stars is overrated too.

Brandon Franz, Sales Rep, was compassionate in offering the November special of a free hot water tank with the installation of my heat pump system. I love the comfort and efficiency of the new heating and AC unit. The technicians with GreenBox were excellent and professional. They deserve a raise!❤️

They reinstalled a new gas valve that I took out and ordered. All other HVAC contractors would not do this b/c they wouldn't warranty the valve. I wasn't after a warranty. I was after labor and David did a superb job. They said it would take approximately 2 hours and he nailed it. Also preformed diagnostic checks to insure the unit was good. I ordered the part due to expediancy. Lori helped set everything up. Thanks again Climate Control!

Technician(Ted) was timely, knowledgeable and efficient. He was pleasant and professional while correcting our HVAC issue. Transitional weather temperatures are hard to navigate. Thank you for making this a pleasant experience.

We own a restaurant downtown and last week on one of the hottest days so far this year one of our A/Cs stopped working. After calling around I found Mr. HVAC and even though they were really busy they understood the importance of a restaurant needing A/C to run our business. They came out late that day after working all day at another job and fixed our issue! Thank you for the help and thank you for going above and beyond with the service.

As a property owner with over 12 units, Mr HVAC is now our only HVAC vendor we call when a problem arises. Prompt, fair pricing, professional........all hard to find these days. They are the best!!!

Mr. HVAC did a great job replacing my air conditioning at a good price. They are honest and gave me several options. They were on time and did exactly what they said they would do. I have recommended them to several people who have also had a great experience. I will use them again in the future when I need maintenance or repair of my Heat & Air Cond. system.

Technician was very diligent, found the problem of dead bird/ nest in the furnace and the vent. Told me the estimated cost and fixed it promptly. I am impressed. I highly recommend

My new go-to for anything heating and cooling. Chris did an excellent job and had our AC running again in no time. The other places I called couldn't make it out for 4-5 days and MrHVAC had someone out here in less than 24 hours. Super impressed with the work and the price. I'd recommend them to anyone.
