Monthly bill for the comfort club is definitely not worth it. Every time I have scheduled an appointment for a technician to come out I’m given a two hour window and they never show up in that window. There’s no communication from the office as to what time technicians will show up when they are late. It’s a very disappointing service.

Have not returned a call after coming out to look at a problem. They told me what the problem was and how they would fix it and then ghosted us. It has now been two weeks and the promise of 3 managers to call me and we have not heard a peep and we are (soon to not be) Comfy Club Members.

Update: They never called even thought they replied to this review saying they would.

I appreciate all the service. The only problem is it seems like every visit I’m being told of things that need fixed. My house is a little over 5 years old and I’ve talked to other neighbors and they don’t seem to be having issues. The prices almost always scare me too death. Don’t get me wrong I appreciate the service I get. I just can’t afford the high prices I’m being quoted to fix

We've been a member of Fayette Heating and airs comfy club for 8 years. RIC M is our trusted technician and the reason why we stay with this company. Ric is honest, trustworthy, communitive, and gets the job done fairly and correctly. He sold us our equipment for heating and air and has been solid ever since. If you're looking for a technician, I can't say enough about his customer service standards!

Jason was punctual and told me what he was going to check and went right to work! Checked my thermostat and asked if I had any questions. Told me all was good and working well. He was very informative and professional. Thank you Jason for a great check-up! Susan Ritchie

Bryson and David did an excellent job of repairing my furnace. Made sure everything was running properly before leaving and answered any questions I had. Hopefully won’t need any repairs any time soon, but if I do I’ll make sure to use them again.

I purchased a Generac generator. It took three months to get the generator installed, during which time they scheduled multiple installation dates and then just didn’t show up. At one point, they did a partial installation and then didn’t return to finish. Finally they finished the job under threat of my filing a report with the Attorney General. The generator was set on a slant, on gravel with no retainer in place. It began to slide and I had to have another contractor come out and lift it to pour a concrete pad under it for stability. I had purchased a 5-year maintenance contract from FH&A… but I distrusted them so fully by the time the installation was complete, that I chose to purchase a second service contract from another local provider just so I would not have to deal with FH&A again. (I wish I’d purchased the generator from the other company! Their service contract is much more comprehensive at a fraction of the cost. I also learned that I could have saved about $5,000 on the generator and installation by not choosing FH&A. Hard lesson learned.)

What a frustrating (and EXPENSIVE) experience. Stay away if you want things taken care of the first time!

I had them visit my home when my heat went out. The first technician arrived promptly as scheduled, was polite and professional, but ended up billing me over $500 to flip a breaker on the furnace in my attic and “tighten a couple of wires” (his words, not mine). When questioned, he said that was their standard billing amount for “minor electrical work”, which is pretty absurd for less than 45 minutes of work. He did offer a $50 coupon to reduce the cost slightly. He also informed me that the breaker was going bad and would need to be replaced, and they would need to send out an electrician to do this.

Here’s where it gets worse. The electrician came as scheduled two days later, but had not been informed that the breaker needed to be replaced, so did not have the parts to do this. So I got billed an additional $230 for his visit, which accomplished absolutely nothing.

The following day, another technician called to let me know he was on his way. When I asked if he had the correct parts to complete the job, he said that there was nothing in the notes from the previous two visits about replacing a breaker, so he did not have the parts. At this point in the afternoon, the supplier was already closed, so we had to reschedule for the next day. Thankfully I was available, but having to be at home for 4 different visits definitely was not convenient. He was able to get the breaker replaced and get everything up and running the next day, however.

All in all, I ended up paying nearly $1,100 to have a simple breaker replaced on my furnace, which is entirely absurd, and waited 4 days in frigid temperatures. I called in to see if I could get a partial refund because of how unnecessary half of the visits should have been, but was informed that these prices are standard. I spoke with a manager named Alex, who told me he would look into it, but never heard back after more than a week despite multiple attempts to contact him again.

Ultimately I’m extremely frustrated by the experience, and question the business practices of this company. The complete lack of proper communication between their technicians to get what should have been a very simple repair done in a timely manner is entirely unacceptable, and the fact that they billed me for their mistakes and miscommunication is absolutely terrible.

    UPDATE

Despite what their response to my original review says, Fayette H&A did not, in fact, call me to try to fix this situation. I attempted to reach out after my initial post, and have still not heard back as of 4 days later. It would be nice if a business would take 5 minutes to follow up and at least make an attempt to correct their errors, but apparently this is too much to ask.

Christian is terrific. He arrived on time, was very friendly and courteous, and most importantly fixed the problem with skill and efficiency. He also made a recommendation regarding a possible future bathroom fixture. We appreciate his professionalism and knowledge, and will ask for him the next time we may need plumbing service. Thank you!

I woke up on the first day of the recent snow storm with no heat. I called right away and a technician was able to get out to me the same day. By the time he (technician David Gibson) arrived the road conditions were already poor, but he arrived earlier than anticipated (he called ahead to make sure that was okay), got my heat going again on a temporary basis to get through the weekend and was back first thing when the week started to install the parts for the permanent fix. He was polite, very knowledgeable and worked quickly to get things going. I appreciate the fast response ever during terrible weather.

They replaced pipes due to a clog and left poo water in my crawl space. Now the house smells like sewage. When I pointed the poo water out, they said there was nothing the could do and to clean it up my self.

AJ came to my house promptly as scheduled, he went right to work, he analyzed the problem and had an immediate solution. It didn't take him long to put this solution in place. He was also very personable. I couldn't be more pleased with the work AJ did for me.

Theses fellas were exceedingly professional and polite, answered my questions, and explained things I was unfamiliar with. They were proprietary in their approach and were very thorough; took Great care in moving about the house and did a thorough cleanup behind A themselves. FH&AC has put together a very effective team and I hope you can keep these competent fellas on your staff for a good while. Guys like these are hard to come by in any business. I’d hire them in a minute. Names are Jase and McKinley (Sp?). I originally thought the price was a little high but… thanks for a job well done!

Comfy club membership canceled. After numerous attempts to communicate with Fayette heating and air, I canceled my membership after one of their technicians damaged my duct work. After repeated attempts in communication, and with substandard workmanship I’m still left with compromised heating ductwork. Beware of this company. I’d be cautious of their business integrity. I’d also recommend being present and watching what they do while in your house.

We were extremely pleased with the plumbing repairs that was performed by your company. Both young men was very nice and very professional. They explained everything to us and took their time. We were very pleased with the work they did, thank you both for an excellent job. We will definitely use your service when we need it in the future. We will be recommending you to our family and friends. Thanks again!!!

We were lied to and quoted 13k to replace our sewage line. We were told our pipe was broke in half about 3’ from the clean-out…. Only to discover that our pipe was perfectly in tact. Oh and the technician that was out to bust our clot didn’t have the knowledge to know that issue was a $40 valve in the back flow. And the clog service that we paid $500 for, and never given and itemized receipt….they poke a hole through it and never removed it. Not to mention that the Ai receptionist never actually scheduled us between 8-12, so my wife called into her job, using her PTO….and then no one showed up until 7:30 at night. So even though we were comfy club members, I’m fairly certain we were charged an emergency fee even but we will never know because the invoices are extremely vague. Also to mention, the price started at around $25k but because the manager felt bad about the situation the knocked off $12k.

Always get a second opinion. They were ready to take payment that night and kept trying to use fear tactics about how we could get sued if we sold the house and didn’t report and sewage line needed to be replaced. Further, the tech kept saying, “I’ll be back tomorrow if you don’t fix it”

I wonder what would have happened if someone who didn’t know enough or have resources to investigate further. Perhaps they would have dished out the $13k and emptied their savings or took a one of the crazy finance options.

Update: we have had zero issues and the flow is still great after fixing the back-flow valve.

I highly recommend Watson Heat & Air. I called this morning and they were st my house within hours. Very thankful for their promptness.

Watson's heating and A/C are the best always on time and ready to work. They always take care of their customers. And Rachel always checks on their service!

I had a brand new HVAC system installed last year and they did a fantastic job. Great service and customer support and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a HVAC service.

Dustin was great and I didn’t feel like he tried to sell me anything. He also wanted me there watching and tried to show me proof of what the problem was and what he was doing so I knew what was going on and didn’t just have to go off of his word. Great strat! Would recommend.
