Absolutely Terrible. I was their customer for over 10 years, which included buying a new HVAC. When it broke down, they sent a guy who spent two minutes at my house and told me it worked fine. It was 86 degrees in my house by noon and over 90 by 3 am. I called them all day, they refused to come fix it and hung up on me three times. I paid for their service plan for over a decade. Thank God I called Fayette Air, they came out the next day and fixed it. They also offered some great upgrades I didn’t know were available. Total Comfort should refund my money, there’s no excuse for such unacceptable performance.

Total Comfort has serviced my gas floor furnace for many years. I have for several years wanted a traditional central heating and air system but, due to the construction of my older home, that has never been feasible without extra work and expense that I was not prepared to pay. I recently, howevwas able to have them install a Samsung 3-to-1 ductless mini split system in my home. Prior to my decision, Kendall and other members of the Total Comfort team made multiple trips to my home to discuss my options, to evaluate what would be required, and to advise me on what would be the most efficient choice for me. And I am most satisfied with the end result! I have never been as comfortable in my home of 37+ years as I am today. To simply thank Kendall and his team is not sufficient. Their professionalism, competency, and customer service deserve more than the five stars I am able to give them in this review. I recommend them to anyone who needs the product and/or service they provide. My sincere thank you to Kendall and all the individuals involved in my project!

I needed my 14 year old heat pump system replaced because it was leaking Freon to the point of costing $400 every 3-6 months to recharge it due to the high cost of discontinued R-22. Repairing such an old unit (if even possible) wasn't a smart move. I got 8 quotes for a total system replacement, and theirs was the best (thousands less than the highest one). Usually that's a red flag, but they've been around for decades, and the equipment was a well known name brand that I had in my last house.
I gave them the go ahead on a Tuesday, and they were on the job Wednesday! It was a tough replacement job because the indoor equipment (the air handler - basically the A-coil, a fan, and control board) had been boxed in, with walls less than a foot away on all 4 sides, and only a 4 by 2 foot access panel on one wall. So it definitely took some extra effort and time to even get the old system out, much less install a new one, which was 3" taller. Several guys quoting even said they'd likely have to make the opening bigger. The installers did struggle some, and had to literally cut apart the old unit, but were able to complete the job without any changes or damage to the opening. They did a professional job (I'm an engineer and have owned quite a few houses, so know what to look for), and I only had to sweep up a bit, and program my new thermostat after they left.
Obviously I'm very happy with what they did and what it cost, and highly recommend Total Comfort.

Big mistake hiring this company!!!! Our appointment today was between 10 to 2. It's now 9pm and they still haven't showed up. My husband has called 3 times since 4 pm and everytime dispatch said they would call the technician and have them reach out to us with a time that they would be here. A technician still hasn't called. I really regret choosing this company and won't make the same mistake twice. A whole Saturday wasted spent at home waiting on this company to show up. I can understand if something came up and they couldn't make it but don't tell us all evening that someone is comming and they work until 10pm when they are not. Just call the customer and reschedule!!!!

We had to replace our upstairs HVAC a little over two years ago using Total Comfort. The heat exchange already went bad leaving the new unit out of commission. The folks at Total
Comfort went to bat for us with Lennox and got us a brand new unit installed under warranty within a couple of days. It’s not often companies go that extra mile for you. Total comfort went above and beyond to make this right. Thank you!

If anyone is looking for someone for their hvac needs this is the place that you need to call! When we first bought our house which has been a little over a year ago affordable was the one to come out to check our hvac unit to tell us what kind of condition it was in and if we would need to replace it since our unit is from 96. The guy that came out then was straight forward an very honest about everything he was in construction prior so he even went out of his way to tell us little things about the house which we thought was beyond nice. Here recently we called them back out do to our hvac unit messing up this time Josh came out. Josh is a beyond nice guy he to was very straight forward an honest about everything. We ended up needing a new hvac unit they not only gave us a great deal but they was able to come out an install it in just a few days! When they came out to install it they worked on it all day even had to go get another unit do to the fact the one they got was bent and still got it done that day for us! They have made sure to take care of us the entire step of the way an honestly have went above an beyond! You won’t find anyone else better than affordable!

Their response time was great! Josh was knowledgeable and efficient. I was pleased with the service and the tech, very personable and quick. I will definitely use their service again and recommend them to others.

Brian and Curtis were awesome!!!! First time home buyer and our upstairs unit broke. They were fast and very efficient. Gave us straight up answers to our questions, VERY TRUSTWORTHY!!! I was so satisfied I signed up for their routine twice a year check up and will continue to use them!!

Brian and Affordable Solutions installed a ductless AC/Heating system (mini-splits) in the upstairs of our Cape Cod-style house. I am totally pleased with their work, and the results are what I hoped for! I highly recommend Affordable Solutions! Brian is really great to work with!

I just had a wonderful experience with Affordable Service Solutions! My furnace went out during this cold snap. We got the name of Affordable Service Solutions from a friend of ours. They came right out and diagnosed the situation—which required a new furnace. They installed the furnace today, and we couldn't be happier! They were competent, polite, and very affordable. We will most definitely use them again!

Have had the pleasure of Affordable Service Solutions perform an air handler replacement for one unit and then entire replacement of another. Each staff member has been professional and thorough. I appreciate the way they kept me informed and have been responsive to any and all questions. They know what they are doing and are very customer-focused.

Josh was on time and gave our heat pumps some long overdue TLC. He gladly changed one hard-to-get filter that was up in the attic. Why they put these units in attics is beyond me, but I digress. Affordable Service Solutions responded immediately to provide a quote for replacing my existing HVAC system and when I accepted their quote and gave them notice to proceed they were on top of getting a new one installed. Even ahead of schedule. Work was accomplished in a professional and timely manner. I highly recommend this company.

We were extremely pleased with how courteous and professional Brandon and his team were while installing our heating and cooling system. They went out of their way to be respectful of our home, keeping it as clean as possible while working. We were happy to have such good, reliable heat during the much colder than normal temperatures we experienced during the Christmas holidays.
