We were referred to GRS from a neighbor. We were very pleased with thier service. If you want an honest professional plumber that does not do unneeded work, I would highly recommend this plumbing company. So happy we found themand will use them for all of our plumbing needs.

Gary and his team set the bar for contractors. Not only are they friendly and honest, they set expectations and do exactly what they say they are going to do when they said they would do it. Their communication should get a 10 STAR. A call every morning letting you know they are on their way and a call letting you know when they are finished. Working with GRS is a very pleasant experience without the stress. I highly recommend reaching out to them.

Called for a leak, GRS was quick to respond. The job ended up being less than quoted! Michael was very nice, and professional. Will definitely use them again.

We’ve had a couple of unique projects on our home with renovations. GRS took the time to think through our projects and make them work the way we had envisioned. Customer service is top notch and the work they’ve done is outstanding. They also take the time to explain what they are doing and why. Just a pleasure to do business with.

We bought a property that needed quite a bit of plumbing work done - Gary and everyone at GRS has been great to work with, they show up when they say they are going to, they are professional and do the right thing every time. He has done several repairs as well as installation of a water softener, hot water heater and "instant" hot water system. I would be hard pressed to ever work with another plumbing company - he is our Go To Guy every time!

I was very impressed with this company. Their service was outstanding. They were punctual with the time that was set. They identified the problem right away and was very expedient in getting the problem fixed. I expected a couple of days for the problem to be fixed and it was only a couple of hours. Very professional company. Gary was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Shane was also very professional and did a great job installing my new water heater while taking out the old one. Everything thing was kept exceptionally clean and I didn't have any mess to contend with. This is an AWESOME company.

I’ve used GRS for almost a year for various issues. They have replaced a water heater and installed a garbage disposal among other things. They have the most professional team I’ve encountered for any service in any location. Dealing with most companies can seem like a tenuous negotiation, always wondering if they have your best interest in mind, but these guys have my utmost trust. They are technical experts with great integrity. I will ONLY use GRS from now on.

GRS was so helpful in our home renovation. They were upfront and honest about the labor and work entailed as well as the cost. We had a few options for our job and they were honest in which option they would choose. Even though we didn’t want to spend the money, a complete replumb was what we needed and fixed ALL of our problems. They even gave us advice on our gas line and heating unit. We have been so pleased with their service and could not ask for any better. They are organized and always returned our calls, unlike many other plumbers in Richmond that we attempted to do business with. I recommend them to everyone now!

My initial experience with GRS Plumbing was a number of years ago when I called on them to correct some botched work by another contractor. I expected some long, messy repairs, but GRS corrected the problems quickly and efficiently. Since then I have called on GRS to install toilets (best ones ever), clean dryer exhaust vents, and diagnose the cause of a foreboding dripping like sound from inside the house walls. The sound turned out to be the natural ticking caused by the expansion of pipes when hot water is draining. In every case I have received, at very reasonable cost, prompt, courteous, and professional service from my initial call to their receptionist, Courtney, to the completion of the job. I give GRS Plumbing my highest recommendation.

I have had two excellent responses now from GRS. They are quick, efficient, and have taken care of my problem both times. Eli, Derek , and Jeremy all were wonderful to work with and I felt like they were trustworthy with their professional opinions and expertise.

Gary and his crew are a throw back to the old days, they work hard, are knowledgeable and freely offer advice and alternatives. We were so pleased when they did our new construction installs. We are so blessed to have been referred to GRS Plumbing. The exceptional service started with Courtney in the office. She was very customer service oriented and answered all our questions. She scheduled us for the installation of a gas cook top and overhead exhaust vent that was convenient to us. Gary was the installer on this job.

We scheduled later the installation of a new hot water tank, 2 new toilets, and a kitchen faucet. Vince was the installer on this job.

Both Gary and Vince were the epitome of professionals. They were personable and easy to talk with and answered our questions thoroughly.

I hired GRS to replace my main water and sewer lines, and they did a great job. They were prompt and reliable. They were there the day after I called to give me an estimate, and when I hired them, they scheduled the job quickly. Vince and his crew were there when they said they would be, and worked diligently to complete the job as quickly as possible. Vince is knowledgeable, honest, and efficient! He also communicated clearly what to expect (how long the job would take, how much it would cost, what the end result would be etc.). Courtney in the office was courteous, and a pleasure to deal with! She called and gave me daily updates, making sure I knew what was going on, and what to expect next. They finished the job in a timely manner, and caused us as little disruption as possible. They also kept our house clean when they went in and out, and our yard looked good when they finished the job. They put it back together neatly, and even rinsed the dirt off of the driveway and sidewalk. This is a great company, and wonderful people!! They made something that is quite stressful as easy as it could possibly be. I highly recommend them!

I am so impressed and happy with GRS Plumbing and Heating!! I submitted an online request for service on a Sunday to assess our leaking outdoor water spigot, and they called the next morning to schedule a service time, which was a few days out for their soonest availability. We accepted. They call us Tuesday saying they have an even sooner opening that day which we accepted and within 30 minutes they are here working on our plumbing issue. Michael and his coworker were our professional, efficient, and polite plumbers who quickly gave us a price estimate and time frame of completing the job in two hours. He explained to me what the issue was, how it would be repaired, and finished the job right under and hour with a smaller total cost than previously mentioned. This company will now our go-to company to call when we have a plumbing or heating issue that needs repair. I had a great experience with GRS Plumbing. Courtney is the nerve center of the company and organizes, assigns the appointments. She is a pleasure to communicate with, very sweet and efficient. I needed to replace my two toilets bought them on-line at my local Lowes store. GRS picked up the toilets at Lowes and brought them to my house and did the replacement. Michael was the plumber installing the toilets. He was very efficient and had a great personality. This is definitely a great company. Courtney even recommended which toilet manufacturer to purchase, and I was very satisfied with that recommendation.

The idea of a full plumbing replacement had been in my mind for a number of years since buying my home. Finally able to seriously consider it, I sought out recommendations from friends and GRS came up as one the highest recommendation. I submitted a request and got a response within a day. Courtney scheduled a visit to get a quote put together quickly. The day arrived, and GRS showed up as promised. They went through everything I wanted to have done and explained to me what they would do as we went through it. By the end of the estimate visit, GRS had a plan together, an estimated cost, and explained everything that would happen if I decided to go ahead with the project.

After speaking with family about it, I settled on a yes. Scheduling took some back and forth due to a vacation I had planned and other jobs GRS had going on as well. However, we finally got to get it all started. It took about four 6-hour days, but by the end, I had every pipe in my house replaced (went from galvanized steel to PEX), the main line to the house replaced, and a whole house filtration system installed and running smoothly. The two gentlemen who did the work were always friendly, professional, and explained anything I had a question about. They stuck around while I went through things to my satisfaction. At the end, they told me that GRS would be back by when the inspection was to take place for line depth, then they would clean up the front yard and reseed the grass that had been dug up due to the line replacement.

If you've read to this point, let me end by saying GRS firmly exceeded my expectations and I cannot recommend them highly enough. As I get closer to the next project I have in mind, they will most definitely be my first choice to ask about the possibilities. Thank you GRS!

I called GRS when I had a clogged drain at my mother’s residence. Due to me leaving town in a few hours, I was in a hurry for service. But at the time of the call they did not have a technician available. In the meantime, I was able to get the drain unclogged. Since Courtney with GRS, knew my circumstance and time constraints, GRS did contact me later and was still attempting to get a technician for my problem. In my experience, most companies completely forget about people after the phone is hung up. However, this is not so with GRS. Although I can’t vouch for their work, their customer service is second to none. I will use them again for my plumbing needs. Thank you Courtney, you were so nice and considerate.

I have found that the only good thing about having an HVAC or plumbing problem (which we've had many of!) is that I know how easy it is to work with GRS and that they'll get us taken care of! Courtney is always so friendly and professional and works to get us sorted out as quickly as possible. Gerry, Vince, Mike and everyone at GRS are really experts at what they do. They do great work, make it affordable, and really look out for your interests as the customer. Would recommend 100%!

I had a clog in my walk-in shower and tried Drano, baking soda & vinegar, snake/auger, and then a plunger. I was able to get the drain unclogged, but I noticed some water had leaked from the shower drain pipe and into my basement. My community Facebook page had several postings recommending GRS Plumbing. I called GRS and spoke to Courtney on Monday morning. Courtney gathered my information, was very nice and kept me updated regarding the estimated arrival time of a technician that same afternoon. Michael H. arrived at my house, inspected the drain pipe, poured 2 buckets of water down the drain, and let the shower run in order to see if there was any water leaking. No water was leaking while running water down the drain, thus it was determined that the seal around the gasket might have been compromised. So Micheal H. resealed it using silicone, giving me peace of mind that the seal was good. Michael H. was professional, honest, neat, and a pleasure to meet. I highly recommend GRS Plumbing and more specifically Michael H.

Gary and GRS have replaced two HVAC units on our home as well as performed some other plumbing repairs over the past year+. They came recommended by the previous owners and in every instance have done quality work as far as I'm familiar with it. They even dispatched someone quickly to check out a bad thermostat on short notice. I was deployed during a portion of this time and coordinating some of the repairs while I was away made a very stressful issue while mobilized much less problematic, knowing they would do their best work to take care of things. Their pricing does reflect the quality of their work and their customer service--Value does not always equal quality. I would recommended GRS and will use them in the future.
