Chris and his team are the best. I scheduled a routine visit with another company who said I needed new capacitors on my HVAC system in my rental unit, and they quoted me $700! That seemed high to me, so I randomly called ProTech to ask if that sounded reasonable. A bit later, Chris called me back and spent ten minutes on the phone with me and explained to me that yeah, they were overcharging by quite a bit.

I've since used him to replace the HVAC system in my home, and his team did a fantastic job. He's also since serviced my HVAC system in my rental unit and discovered some very obvious issues that were missed by the previous company, and took care of those for me. And to top it all off, he installed those new capacitors - free of charge.

Chris doesn't just come in and do the work. He takes the time to explain what he's doing, why it's important, and what you can do to get the most out of your HVAC system. You can tell he's really knowledgeable, and he loves sharing that knowledge. I can't recommend this company enough - don't even bother looking anywhere else.

OH, and I forgot to mention! My rental unit was vacant, but I had tenants moving in at the end of the week. I expected the maintenance to have to happen after they moved in, but they were able to find time that same day to come in and perform the maintenance, making it easier for everyone. Incredibly professional!

Chris (the owner) clearly has a passion for HVAC and for ensuring his customers are fully satisfied with his service. His patience with my many questions on the phone and via e-mail was very appreciated. Along with the very competitive prices and his willingness to help meet my budget, he earned my business over several other quotes. I know I got a great new heat pump at a very competitive price. Great experience and great company!

Our heat pump went out during the coldest weather, Chris got back to us within the hour. He asked good questions, requested photos and then provided a detailed explanation of his findings. He gave us options with multiple price ranges. Because he was highly recommended by multiple neighbors, it was a very easy decision. They did the job quickly - we've been exceptionally happy with the new unit. Can't say enough GREAT THIBGS about them!!!!

If anyone needs A/C repair recommendations, I highly recommend Wehn VAC. Woke up this morning with no A/C. They were at my house, diagnosed the problem and replaced the motor by 10:30 AND the price was amazing!!!!

John Wehn and team did an excellent job installing the geothermal system for our new house. They also did a great job on our basement rough in. This is an honest HVAC company that you should not hesitate to work with.

The AC quit in one of our rental properties during the hottest time of the summer. I had been waiting for an estimate from another company for 10 days (yes, 10!) when out of utter desperation I begged a builder friend to refer me to his HVAC team. John Wehn came out that same day, and within a week we were up and running beautifully (when everyone else I called said it would be 4-6 weeks!). I've since had them replace another unit, and they were again a pleasure to work with.

Wehn HVAC was the contractor used to install our systems in our new home build two years ago. And aside from a few mechanical failures (all were covered by warranty ), they had been fine to work with.
Well fast forward to two weeks ago. I called John Sr. about having a humidifier installed.He gave me recommendations and I told him I’d call him back shortly after discussing the options with my wife. Tried calling back that day but got voicemail, no problem I left a message. Hadn’t heard back so I called back later the next day. He said he had to look at his schedule and would get back to me. Well after seven days passed my wife called. He talked to her but said he’d call her back momentarily after he got to the office. He never did and it’s week since. Unacceptable, especially for a returning customer!

I needed a quick repair of my heat pump to fix a couple of problems found by a home inspector prior to selling my house. After finding a coupon online for a different company that came out and gave me a very expensive bid, I decided to look for a local company. I found and contacted Wehn HVAC yesterday afternoon. Wehn came and fixed my heat pump today for less than 1/3 of the cost of the other company. The job Wehn did appears to be high quality. He gave me a detailed write up of what he did that should satisfy the relocation company I'm working with. I am happy and grateful to Wehn-HVAC for providing such quick and fine service a fair price. A quick example: for one small 5 minute part of the repair, the other company quoted me $287. Wehn did that part for $10.

As a property manager I like the fact that with ProActive I am dealing with the highly-experienced owner, Sunil, and not just a technician. Sunil does meticulous work and is knowledgeable about the whole range of HVAC. Now, ProActive does not have the size and coverage to match response and turnaround times of bigger outfits (though often they can),, but for me the trade-off for dealing with someone who knows what he’s doing is well worth it. An added bonus - Sunil is a great guy and fun to work with.
