We were left with no heat after our furnace went out. James was able to come out and fix the problem within 2 hours. We set up an appointment to replace our 23 year old furnace for a few days later. James arrived with his team on time and were done installing the new furnace within 3hrs! Left everything nice, clean, and working great! Will definitely be using this company again.

Logan Heating & Air installed my unit years ago and it is a wonderful company to deal with. The #1 thing is they are honest and trustworthy. I have never had an issue that they have not taken care of that day. Mike built and replaced my dryer vent that was like a roller coaster fire hazard to a steel straight vent that’s going to save me time and money. I would recommend it to my friends, family and neighbors. They are the only company I will ever use. The technician has a wonderful group of employees with the best customer service around which is so hard to find.

It is challenging to fully express my displeasure with this company, but I'll try to do so with enough information as to allow others to make an informed choice about whether they wish to work with them.

I inherited our business relationship with them at our church in Baltimore when I began serving as pastor here in 2009.

Month to month, year to year, things seemed pretty smooth. Responsive on the phone, regular maintenance was decent, competitive pricing.

In 2011, it was time to replace the boiler. They had pulled a Weil-McLain 88 series 2 off a building at a previous job and were willing to install it at the church as a donation (valued at $6,000), with us paying $18.6k for the installation costs. We contracted asbestos removal separately. That all went in at the end of 2011.

Five years later, at the end of 2016, we noticed some leaking coming from the pipes behind the boiler. Pulling away the insulation revealed badly corroded pipes--far more corrosion than was possible in five years. Checked with the company: "Oh, yeah, we just reused as many of the fifty year old pipes as we could when we installed the new-ish boiler." So they come out and replace piping which should never have been used again. They go ahead and complete this work without giving us a quote or pricing for us to approve (despite requests, and a contract that calls for quotes for any repair to exceed $500), then charge $1500 which we did not have readily available.

So, we end our relationship with them, move to a more reputable company.

But the hits keep coming. Three years later, huh, pipes behind the boiler are leaking again. Why is that? Pull back the insulation to reveal still yet old pipes, corroded, connected to the three year old pipes which had been replaced. Meanwhile, the boiler itself fails state inspection because it's corroded in one place and leaking, while seeing lots of water come out from a seal between two of the elements which were poorly installed.

To recap: $20,000 for 8 years of a boiler which should have been good for thirty.

So thankful for Heating and Cooling Services in Baltimore! They were quick to respond when our heater stopped working. The tech was polite and had everything fixed fast.
