I have used Perry Hall Heating and Air throughout the years when I have any type of HVAC issue. They are easy to work with when it comes to scheduling, and I believe they are always fair and trustworthy. They have fixed the problem every time, given me a thorough explanation, and do not try to sell me things that I do not need.

If you’re looking for an honest company, I highly recommend Perry Hall Heating and Air.

Great service technician Renee. Very pleasant personality and very professional and explained everything to us in great detail in regards to our outside AC condenser unit.

I had a number of estimates for a heat pump done. They seemed to have the best combination of good reviews and affordable price. They did an excellent job with the installation. Unfortunately, it seemed to have been a lemon unit. They went back and forth a couple times replacing various parts, but eventually fixed the unit, and it's been running well ever since.

The service has been great. They're attentive and come quickly to diagnose the issue. I would definitely recommend them.

My go to when I'm I need of HVAC services. I've used them a few times in the past few years, and they’ve always been friendly, honest, and fairly priced—no price gouging. I just needed their help again this week, and once again, they came through. Huge thanks to Woody for getting our unit cooling the house again.

Our AC recently died—perfect timing as I enter into my 9th month of pregnancy. We reached out to a few local HVAC companies, and Perry Hall got back to us right away. Rob gave me a call to better understand what we had going on, and then scheduled a time to come out and assess, which I really appreciate because I like the face-to-face interaction and having someone see what systems we already have and how we can improve our set up. They got us a quote which we found to be reasonably priced compared to the other estimate we received. Then they got us on their schedule, and I was pretty pleased with how quickly they were able to get out to do the install (again…9 months pregnant and reaaaally needing AC right now as the days are warming up and baby is on the way). Install went super smooth, and the team was professional, efficient, and respectful of our home. Left everything the way they found it (just with two new beautiful units).

We ran into some of our ductwork making some buckling sounds when the unit started up after the install, but Perry Hall came back out right away and the technician Brennan was able to resolve the issue with some bracing. Soooo incredibly thankful for the quick problem solving.

Overall, A+ experience and would use their services again, as well as recommend to any friend or family member.

They did a full 2.5 ton Trane Air handler/heat pump and outdoor condensing unit for a reasonable price, quoted $500 lower than the next guy but that's not all.

They actually charged me $400 less than that AND they threw in a free Ecobee thermostat! Very professional and hardworking guys.

The price of the service was awesome. The installation went well. And the team was very professional.

However, years after my service was complete I get a bill in the mail for a warranty I did not agree to. When I call for support... turns out it's an advertisement for more warranty.

Do better Perry Hall, you offer good service and pricing. Why mess that up with shady advertising. It's worse than the fake car warranty mailers we get all the time.

Changed review to 1 star due to snarky response on google. You're advertising is shady. Don't get upset for being called out.

If this was an amazing offer it should have stated something like "Hey we have this amazing thing for you." Not a "invoice" that looks like a bill.

Perry Hall H&A are by the far the best in the area. They do fantastic work and very reasonable with their pricing.

Brand new system installed in December 2023. I called today for service and it will cost me $250 for them to walk through the door before they even look at the system. Ridiculous! I will also be posting this information on our neighborhood website. It is clear they installed faulty units.

Perry Hall HVAC installed a new multi-zone split system in our 100 year old house. The whole team was friendly, professional, creative and detail oriented. They were a pleasure to work with. The project was completed well within their timeframe and the pricing couldn’t be matched by their competitors. We are extremely pleased to have selected them and we highly recommend them for any HVAC projects or services.

They have always been efficient and professional with their workmanship. We had a leaky HVAC coil for what seemed like forever. Finally decided to compare prices and replace the entire older Trane unit to something far more energy efficient. It's now been months and the unit has been overall trouble-free. Thanks!

My 15 year old furnace stopped working before the snow storm. The first HVAC company came out once, said they fixed it, had to come out again and told me I needed a part. I waited for a week without heat, then they came out and it was the wrong part and they said I needed a new furnace. Perry Hall came out and immediately diagnosed the problem, determined the damaged part (different part than the first company) was under warranty, ordered it and installed it when it came in. I signed up for a service contract and will not use the other HVAC company in the future. Competent and honest technicians.

Rob was great with a detailed estimate and answered all my questions. They stuck to the schedule and Charlie and Anthony
were polite and professional. They explained the new system and cleaned up like they had never been there. Office staff is top notch as well. Will continue to recommend Perry Hall!

Highly Professional Installation by Perryhall Heating

A few months ago, Perryhall Heating installed a complete Trane system in my home, and I couldn't be more impressed with their work. They truly went above and beyond.

The outdoor unit was placed on a 2” cladlite pad with 4” legs, which is an excellent detail that keeps dirt out. The indoor unit was installed with meticulous attention to detail, featuring neat piping and wiring. The team's leader, Mr. Rich, even crafted a custom cover for the air filter—something I had never seen before.

While their prices may not be the lowest, the quality of their work is absolutely the best. Additionally, their salesman, Mr. Jerry, was very nice and knowledgeable, making the entire process smooth and pleasant. Their crew, including Mr. Rich, Chris, and Wayne, did an excellent job with the installation and used all new parts, unlike other companies that reused old parts.

The professionalism and quality of their work have exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Perryhall Heating and Air Conditioning for anyone needing HVAC services.

So called for a no heat call and tech showed up on time and I showed him the furnace. I explained what I have tested (I forgot to cancel him but thought I figured out the problem and since he was there I figured I might as well verify I was right since he is the professional). Symptoms - furnace would light, run for a minute or and then shut down. Error code 31 and 33...So the tech comes in and hit the flame roll out switch and looked at the flame and said "your heat exchanger is cracked you need a new one" .. me can it be anything else? "No" ... me can it be dirty and just need to be cleaned? "No" ... the office will call you with an estimate... day later the office calls "labor for the heat exchanger will be $1000 and if any other repairs are needed that will be additional" hmmmm... I paid for diagnostics so why not test everything to give an accurate quote? Ex- igniter- not tested, capacitor (i knew was bad and had a replacement ordered) not tested and not on estimate, pressure switch- not tested, induction motor- not tested, blower- not tested, flame sensor- not tested... customer-tested and not happy! So before commiting to $1000 labor I did the testing... So what did the untrained homeowner discover?? Capacitor- Quick check with multi-meter (2 min- max) showed it was bad. Next check- 1 screw for flame sensor and visual inspection- a lot of build up. Cleaned with sandpaper. Restart- induction motor worked blower works (needs cleaning) pressure switch tested... hmmm everything you would expect a trained professional paid to diagnose a problem to do... Forgot to mention CLEANING THE FLAME SENSOR fixed the problem. Ordered flame sensor $9 and furnace is running perfectly... forgot to mention that cracked heat exchanger that can let out toxic gasses that could kill me... passed the test you use to diagnose a cracked heat exchanger.... I personally feel I was scammedwith this diagnosis!

When it came time to replace our entire HVAC system, I reached out to several companies and collected multiple quotes. After receiving numerous recommendations to contact Perry Hall Heating & Air, I’m very glad I did.

From the start, they took the time to listen to my concerns and recommended a system that would work best for my home, including helping me understand all available discounts and rebates.

From beginning to end, Perry Hall Heating & Air was professional, thorough, and very competitive in their pricing given today’s market. Special shout-out to Tim, who went above and beyond to fine-tune our system so it performs perfectly with our home.

    I would definitely recommend them.

Amazing experience from start to finish, Rob and his team really did an amazing job installing a new HVAC unit at our house, only took a day, no issues, system looks sharp and the price was right! Very happy with every aspect of the install and customer support! Keep up the great work! Will recommend to everyone!

[UPDATE] I will keep this factual. I will not rehash the events of today, but regardless of that, here's the bottom line. I am two days away from the 1 month anniversary of having Perry Hall Heating & Air install a new HVAC system, and it still isn't fully functional with no estimate of when it will be repaired. I hope the owners notice my review and interpret it as an opportunity to grow and learn from my use case. I'll leave it at that.

Disappointed, but will update my rating if it's warranted.

I had a new HVAC system installed over a period of two days. The team seemed efficient, clean, and very professional. About a week later, I called them because the system was not heating nor functioning correctly. They were able to send out a technician that same day. The diagnosis was a clogged air filter, which was triggering the system to shutdown. Although the filter looked relatively clean (only 1 week of usage), there was some debris that was likely caused by the recent install and the possibility of things being shook loose. Although I questioned it, the technician was certain that was the cause. I will not pretend I know more than the "pros" and trusted his judgement. He reset the system and it seemed to be working. About a week and a half later, I had to call them again for the same issue and they were able to send someone out that same day. This time, I replaced the filter myself and it still was not functional. The current diagnosis is a freon leak in one of the lines outside and incorrect settings on the thermostat. I don't understand the thermostat portion of the diagnosis, so I will have to assume something was set incorrectly on the installation settings (something the original technicians would have set). Today, I am being told they will come by next week to repair the leak.

I'm not angry. I like to think I'm a reasonable person. Mistakes happen and I can't be certain that there was a misdiagnosis the first time. Regardless, these issues shouldn't be expected from a brand-new install. What's upsetting is that we were told someone would be out the next day to repair the line, but they would call first. The reality is that they were calling to schedule the repair for a later date (next week).

Again, I am not angry and I think I'm a reasonable person. I'm giving a "middle of the road" rating because this situation, especially this most recent response, is simply disappointing.
