Called after my sump pump suddenly started making loud noises. Spiro came out the next day, diagnosed the problem, and corrected it within minutes, then performed a test to ensure it was working properly. He could have easily told me it needed to be replaced and charged me 10x what he did, but only charged me for the visit. I appreciate the honesty and will only use Empire going forward. Thank you!

He could have come and did the work and charged me any outrageous amount, but instead he was gracious enough to assess the problem and gave me some DIY solutions which allowed for me to fix the problem myself. My hot water tank started leaking and I searched on Google for plumbers and went down the list and called Empire Plumbing and Heating. Spiro is the person I spoke with he was very professional and came to my residence within 20 minutes. He explained everything to me with patience, very friendly, understanding and had a high level of plumbing experience. To speak with him you would think he has been in the business for over 50 years (he is not old just using 50 years as an example). He scheduled the water heater installation for the next day, he needed to order the water heater which came the next day. Spiro turned the water heater off so it would not continue to leak. Spiro arrived at my house at 11:00 am and he was a couple minutes early, which I highly appreciated. He installed the water heater and expansion tank, place the water heater in a professional aluminum pan (to elevate the heater so it would not be mounted on the basement floor) and put a sensor in the pan so it will beep if the heater starts leaking do to natural condition outside or other things that may happen. After he finished, Spiro explained the parts of of the water heater and expansion tank. Spiro also asked if I had any questions and he answered with patience and put my mind to ease. I highly recommend using this plumber and his prices are very reasonable, he was not trying to ripe me off or take advance of a woman. He used some of his personal experience as examples so I could understand the plumbing jargon. He also gave me some recommendations on replacing the pipes in my home. He did not put pressure on me but told me to save up and get it done when I could. You will truly be satisfied with his services, thank you again Spiro.
