I can not say enough great things about Atlantic Coastal and the Technician Billy. The best!

Let them install, but careful what you call them for, seriously. To be fair, I had a good experience with Jamie, Terry, and the crew when they installed our system in our new business. We even recommended them to our landlord, which didn't go stellar, but still great relationship for us at the time. My issues came from the follow-up, and the later experiences have been a splitting headache, complete with silly charges for no service and poor communication from management.
On two separate occasions, I had technicians come out to fix the two mini split units they installed new, because they are almost always in some form of error, working only for short periods on occasion, leaving our business cold or hot, depending. One technician came after I called, identified an unrelated poor drain and tray installation job visible from standing in the room (I removed the ceiling tiles), and when I told him it was Atlantic Coastal who installed it, he said someone would come fix it. Nobody showed up, ever, same mini split issues remained. I called again and a new tech came to tell me it was the batteries in my remote. Unfortunately on that visit, turning it off and back on again seem to solve it for about twenty minutes, shutting off and blinking after the tech was long gone. If I never used basic electronics, I might have left thinking I fixed it too, who knows. Two visits and literally no work done, no progress, no calls back, but hundreds of dollars for the visits. It's possible they removed some of the charges, to be fair, but close to three hundred dollars sits on my account with nothing to show for it. I paid the other expensive visits, like the guy who came for routine service and didn't have filters so he just left. I've chatted with Terry multiple times, and if they can explain why telling me to get new remote batteries, not fixing install issues, and non-functional equipment is worth that, I'll happily pay it. Since then, I've dived into the manual for blink colors/patterns, and seem to have fixed the mini splits for now, but one of the new-install rooftop AC units has decided to limp. I called to give them one more chance to... do some HVAC work? It really is a shame to sever a bond I once appreciated.
Obviously, they refuse to service their units until they get their come-and-hang-out fees, but out of principle, that's the best way for this to go. Contractors generally enjoy fixing and telling the tales of other contractors' work, so hopefully the new crew will be a good fit for the long term.
In summary, I know they are good people and are good at what the do, generally. But who do you tell when nobody calls you back? That's my tale.

Very prompt,friendly and knowledgeable. Had an idea of what the problem was, tested for the problem and test showed the part had failed. He had a replacement in his vehicle, installed it and made sure all was working properly. I asked him to check some things and all was good. Very happy with the work and the tech. Billy, the technician, arrived in a timely manner, installed things efficiently, and explained what he had done. The charge seemed reasonable based on other estimates I received, and I appreciate that he did not try to pressure or panic me into replacing the whole furnace, the way some HVAC companies have.

Had a similar experience with Hank the following year, but this time nothing needed to be installed.

We had a great experience from communication, arriving on time, explaining everything so I understand options as well as quality work. Truly appreciate the support when making a decision like this for my home. I got three quotes and Jamie the owner was the one that provided calculations as far as size of unit as well as all of the options for me. I trust his work and really liked the calls and texts to let me know when people would arrive. Thank you for a great experience.

Jamie came by on 24 hours nice and took a look at my furnace. I was told the previous day that an expensive repair was necessary and that probably better to overhaul entire system. Jamie inspected the furnace and told me no replacement or repair was needed and the system still had a few years before it needed replacement.

Very much appreciate Jamie’s honesty letting me know the work wasn’t necessary immediately.

Highly recommend! I have used Atlantic Coastal for regular maintenance and the HVAC portion of a reno and had great experiences. Will continue to have them handle all of our HVAC needs.

Our furnace was throwing up error codes on and off for 2-3 weeks. I called Atlantic Coastal Cooling and Heating and they were able to dispatch a technician out to me (as a new customer) the very next day. The staff were helpful in calling to set up reminders and updates on ETA. Leonard was thorough, honest, efficient, and was able to diagnose and correct the problem. Jamie (James) Carmen and his staff were courteous and knowledgeable when they came out to look at my old heatpump and airhandler installation and provide an estimate. While I didn't move forward with them at this time, I would consider using their services in the future.

We had no heat in our upstairs . Billy came out and fixed the problem. He was, as always, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He is a real asset to your company.
