I called Lowe’s air duck cleaning and Ernesto came out to my home the very next day after I called, which was great. He spent about four hours fully servicing all the vents throughout the house, both motor blowers and evaporator coils, and my dryer vent.

He was really thorough and showed me before and after pictures of everything so I could actually see the results. He took his time, explained what he was doing, and didn’t rush through anything. The whole process was straightforward with no hassle and no upselling. He just got the job done right.
I’d definitely recommend Lowe’s Air Duct Cleaning and would specifically ask for Ernesto if you can. Really good experience and I’ll be calling them again when it’s time for the next cleaning.

Had a scary and life endangering encounter with an individual from this company today. After doing nothing wrong driving 70mph in a 65 in the far right lane this individual high beams my vehicle for the next 3.6 miles onto an exit and continues for another 2 miles (STILL HIGH BEAMING GETTING WITHIN LESS THAN A FOOT) gets off the exit extremely quick. Between the dangerous/ reckless driving and unprofessionalism of this company shows from the drivers alone.

Our technician arrived promptly and fixed the issue in under an hour. Impressive!

Scheduled a day off work for appointment, they said they were coming in 90 minutes, then NEVER SHOWED UP or apologized. Absolutely dreadful, can not be trusted, do not use this company.

I called them last weekend to service my heat when the temperature dropped and they came out within 2 hours which they quoted. They got me up and running for a fair price, I will have them back to service my AC system in the house.

Update Sept 2023: Rich McDermott agreed to a partial reimbursed but has never made the payment and months have now passed. Twice he said "the check in the in the mail" and another time he said it would be dropped off at my home. This is not a person or a firm that anyone should choose to work with if quality and integrity matter to you.

I only share my review so this doesn't happen to anyone else. My experience with Urban Mechanical and Rich McDermott was terrible. He installed two AC units in my home - neither work and his telephone lines have been disconnected. I not only think he can't run a business, but I fear he has a pattern of ripping off people then shutting down his operations -- and probably opening up under another name to steal from more people. I learned he even stole from his own employees. He might also operate under the name Climatech Services and 26 McDonald Street LLC. Oxbox should also be concerned about his practices because in many way he represented them. Do not get involved with him - it will be a huge regret.

I came across Urban Mechanical when I was looking for an air conditioning maintenance company. I was really impressed with their website and the information they provided. They were also easy to contact and were able to answer all of my questions. I was glad I found them as they have been able to fix any of my AC issues and are always available.

We've used Urban Mechanical for over 6 years to service our furnace and A/C unit; even purchased a replacement A/C unit from them. They are reliable and always available for a service call when the A/C didn't work right. Would definitely recommend Urban Mechanical!!!
