They’ve done several things for us. Replaced the well pressure tank, installed a tankless hot water heater, replaced the water softener, put in the plumbing from our well to newly installed in-ground sprinkling, and when we were in a pinch before a trip they replaced a hot water heater in our RV. When the pressure tank and tankless hot water were installed, they positioned things to give me extra usable space in the utility closet. With everything that was done I felt they were doing the work as they would do in their own house. If you want sound advice and work done right, you won’t go wrong with Kent County Plumbing.

Derrick from Kent County Plumbing completed a huge project of retro-fitting a sump pump and drainage tile system in my 1950s era home... Lots of work and did it in a quick and efficient manner with as little inturruption to our lives as possible. Oh yeah... did it for a great price. We moved into a new house and our shower wasn't draining. Derrick came out hours after I called him, fished out a small cat figurine and a bottle cap, and replaced the trap. The price was great, the work was great, and I enjoy not also taking a bath while I shower.

Derrick came out same-day for our emergent issue. He was here when he said he would be, diagnosed the problem, and fixed the problem in the same afternoon. He left our home clean and leak-free. His prices were comparable to others I called around to and his availability was faster.

Derrick at Kent County Plumbing was awesome! My wife and I just bought a new home and needed a few things taken care of including moving a pump and RO system to the basement. Derrick did a great job installing our tankless heater, water softener, and utility sink. He was courteous, professional, and even cleaned up the job site. He was the first contractor to show up wearing a face mask without needing to be asked. I consider that customer care.

Excellent work for a very reasonable price. Derrick is amazing. He left the job 10 times better than what I had. I had a clogged drain with a leaking trap. The original piping was done poorly. He replaced it and it’s fantastic. I have the proper configuration to make my drain and garbage disposal work effectively.

Needed shut off for kitchen sink replaced. They were able to show up within 3 hrs. Zack suggested to not replace shut off valves until we had base cabinet installed. So he just put a straight pipe on with a cap. This way we would not have to drill such a big hole to place cabinet. Very courteous and professional. Thank you both Derrick and Zack!

Derrick was fantastic. He was on time and did exactly what I asked along with improving upon the previous plumbing work. I had a new dishwasher and garbage disposal installed. I am very happy with the results compared to the previous plumbing connections from when I moved into the house.

Derrick was able to squeeze me in between his other customers and get the job done. He did an incredible job. He got rid of all the worn-out, 63-year plumbing and replaced it with shiny new stuff. He really takes pride in his work. His attention to detail really showed. The way he routed the drains and water lines was well thought out. It looks so neat and organized, an amazing thing considering most of the pipes will never be seen.

Derrick was very professional, explained everything he was doing and why, and worked quickly and efficiently. And, of course, there were no leaks.

Derrick was the plumber for our large scale remodel and he is everything you could want in a professional working your job - great communication, highly skilled, respectful of the site, and while efficient, he takes the time to both functionally and visually ensure the work is stellar. He knew about pros and cons of different options and listened to our priorities and vision to ensure he was able to bring it to life for all the plumbing work with understanding cost trade offs. We would have him back to work on a project for us in the future in a heart beat.

I'm very thankful for the work that Derrick did in my condo this past Friday. To say there was an unexpected turn of events might be an understatement.

I have had a leak from pipes in my bathroom into my kitchen for months (the pipes from the bathroom are directly above the kitchen ceiling. I have had a few plumbers out to review, but none took the positive steps that were taken on Friday. Derrick arrived slightly early (I was not bothered by early arrival).

After giving him a brief history of the issue, and that others had come but not proposed a real solution, he cut into the kitchen ceiling and was able to identify the source of the leak (a connection between older and newer pipe that wasn't entirely sealed). At the same time, he mentioned that one pipe was sloped in the wrong direction. He offered to address that issue while doing the other work.

When he removed the pipe, it wasn't empty (and it didn't just have water in the pipe either), and he suddenly found himself looking for (and emptying) buckets to deal with what was coming out of the wrong-sloped pipe. What started as a relatively routine plumbing issue escalated quickly into a challenging, extremely messy situation.

What impressed me the most was that Derrick didn't lose his composure (as I most certainly would have) and kept calm and professional during the whole saga. He was able to adapt to the challenges quickly and effectively. He made great efforts to clean the affected areas, to the best of what he had available to him.

It wasn't until after, when I was settling the amount owed, that I learned he is the owner of the company (he mentioned that he hadn't been in the field for a while). As I stated, I was very thankful not only that he was able to find and resolve the problem, but also the demeanor he maintained after opening that pipe.

I'm a first-time homeowner and we had an issue with our bathroom pipe drainage. I was nervous to find a plumber online, being new the neighborhood, but I saw the great reviews for Derrick.
