I called Mountaineer Plumbing to repair a pipe, and that resulted in my hiring them to REMOVE and REPLACE ALL the hot and cold supply lines in the basement of my duplex. I liked that Matt didn't charge me a 'mileage penalty' for coming to estimate the project. Matt is the owner of Mountaineer Plumbing, and he also worked as on-site project manager on this job. I have attached a picture of one of the supply lines from my 1924 duplex, and you can understand why I wanted to replace all the lines. My tenants were complaining about water pressure issues, and it was time for a capital improvement, an investment in my property. I'm very happy I called Mountaineer Plumbing. Matt brought the project in for the estimated price ... no jacking up the price or complaints. I can't stand when plumbing technicians start whining about problems they encounter on a job and how the original estimate didn't include any additional work. What can I say? Mountaineer Plumbing finished the job as scheduled, even mopping up the floors to leave the basement work area CLEANER when they arrived (I've attached a pic of the basement floor AFTER they cleaned it). The cost of the project was reasonable considering the amount of work involved, and now I am a happy landlord and two sets of happy tenants thanks to Matt and Mountaineer Plumbing. Highly recommend!

We had Mountaineer replace our entire kitchen drain line 2.5 years ago. While initially we were satisfied with the service, we are now having to replace the line completely again due to the lack of fall/improper decline. It’s very disappointing considering it cost us several thousand dollars.

Edited to add- after having multiple plumbers look at our issue we have learned that it wasn’t even done to code.

This company is really great to work with. They are super reliable, pricing is fair and they go above and beyond to make sure everything you need is taken care of care of. I cannot recommend them enough, if you are looking for a plumber stop now and call these guys, you won’t regret it!

Jacob came out to fix a leak in the pipes under my tub. He was professional and so kind. He fixed the issue quickly and affordably! So thankful.

We had Keith come out yesterday March 19 2024, he was very thorough, took his time looking into our new house and some of the problems were having. We have used Windmill for a few years now when we kept getting shafted by Penning and Schaafsma. I highly recommend calling and using this company if you want good Quality workers like Keith, Ian and their co-workers. They also wont break your wallet. Highly recommend calling them and getting your home equipment checked out by this company.

Please, please, please use Windmill Plumbing if you are looking for reliable, professional individuals who do great work and actually make recommendations that are BEST for you as the client and not just profitable for their company. Keith is AMAZING. Their entire team is extremely kind, patient, informative and all around helpful. It's one thing to do business with a company that provides great customer service but to have a company that actually shows that they care, is RARE.

Ian was able to fit me on his schedule the day of - he handled fixing my water pressure issues after I installed a new water heater the day before. Provided me a lot of information on the issue and my pipes within my home.

Excellent service and a pleasure to work with! When I had my plumbing back up with a newborn at home, they rearranged some things so they could show up within 30 minutes to resolve my issue.

Service was top notch! Needed a new hot water heater ASAP, Ian was out the same day. Priced better than previous estimates. Others tried to upsell the needed replacement, while Windmill offered fair honest pricing.

I've been working with Windmill on numerous projects and they are absolutely incredible to work with. I have had a water heater installed by them as well as helping to free up some seized tap cartridges from a sink in my bathroom. I was able to be helped very soon where other plumbing companies will make me wait at least a week. They weigh time to complete jobs and prioritize accordingly. I would highly recommend Windmill if you care about your fixtures and are interested in learning anything about your plumbing.

Responsiveness of Windmill’s service was beyond my expectations. I had an urgent situation with my tankless water heater. Ian came out within an hour from my call (at 2:30pm!!). He quickly identified the problem, and within 45 minutes had it fixed. Pleasant and professional to work with. I will give Windmill all my future plumbing business.

My husband and I recently moved into a new home and contacted Windmill Plumbing regarding an intermittent rattling/gurgling noise that we had noticed when flushing the toilet in our upstairs bathroom. Even before scheduling an appointment, Ian spent nearly 20 minutes on the phone with me talking through the problem to try to determine what the issue may be. When he came out to do a diagnostic, he was able to isolate the issue with ease and review potential options for fixes and what these may entail. I did not feel at any point that he was trying to push for a higher amount of repairs than what was needed. In addition to assisting with our initial concern, he answered a variety of other questions regarding the plumbing setup in our new home and gave us great insights regarding potential future projects we're considering. It is clear that Ian has an extensive knowledge of various plumbing setups that may be influenced based on the location of a home as well as other factors such as the year it was built.
