Had an emergency AC outage at one of our daycare centers. It was addressed and noted as an emergency but not taken seriously at all. After 2 days and a weekend of having the AC out, we finally hired a different company and it was fixed within an hour thankfully.

I would highly recommend using a different company. I reached out to them during a emergency situation while our daycare center AC went out which is a school with children as young as 6 weeks old during 80 + degree days. I was told between 10-1pm. They showed up at 345pm, said they fixed it and left.. they did not fix the issue. Called the next day for them to come out again.. Told they would flag as emergency. No one ended up showing up ALL day. Was not communicated that they were backed up or anything. I would have appreciated the transparency so I could look into other companies sooner as it was a very urgent situation but NO.. I called 3 times and each time got a different person, each saying "I will let the tech manager know" but nothing ended up happening.... We ended up using a different company after this mess!! Do Not Use!!

They came out to the childcare center to check on our AC unit on the roof. They did poor quality diagnosing the issue. The AC unit was not fixed and said they couldn’t come back until Monday. We had to have another company come out the three days later and found the real problem. They did not make any effort to help or apologize that their tech did not do their job. Bad service and bad quality.

I really felt confident with Mike putting in my central air. He was very personable, friendly and a very hard worker. I also liked the good quality air conditioner that they chose for my townhouse. I will definitely be calling Goodin Heating And Cooling for future services.

My background in engineering and management always leads to critical analysis and I find when dealing with Goodin Heating And Cooling staff my impressions are validated every time.

Had them yesterday for my Furnace and Heating annual checkup. Tech was courteous & helpful, explained everything & showed me how to replace filter in system. He inspected the system, made needed recommendations & cleaned everything up well, leaving everything in good shape. Professional, timely and thorough. I would recommend them highly.

The technician was on time and got right to work. He diagnosed the issue and told me right away what to expect in terms of time and cost, which I really appreciated. His exam was really thorough. I firmly believe that a little time and effort now will put off the eventual day the unit needs to be replaced. When that day comes, I'll be happy to have Goodin Heating And Cooling do the work.

The technicians arrived on time, in fact they called in prior to let me know they were on their way. They completed the job, in a clean and timely manner. They also gave me good info about both units. The service was excellent! I will continue to use them and refer them to my friends.

We had a great experience with Goodin Heating And Cooling where they replaced our furnaces and air conditioners. Our sales person did a fantastic job of explaining our options ahead of time and listened to our concerns. We had very high expectations for quality and wanted a crew who would take good care of our home. They assured us our expectations would be met or exceeded and to our delight they were. Our basement floor drain was backing up and clogged. Got lucky and Hero had open appointments the same day. Nikola Skoric arrived and was so friendly and attentive. He told us the exact issue after looking into the drain and gave us a quote before proceeding to do an amazing job clearing it all out and scraped away a lot of build up crud that accumulated since the house was built in the 1960's. He thought it had never been cleaned which was surprising to hear, we've only been living in the house for 3 years and he said we should be set for quite a few more. He had actionable advice for us and even put a lint catcher on the washing machine drain pipe to help prevent future issues (and left us a spare!)
I'd for sure use Hero again, especially if Niko came out, his professionalism is unmatched!

Went with a new full HVAC system. All the guys that helped with the install were very friendly and did a great job. Gabe was my salesperson and was very responsive to any questions or concerns. Zach and Trevor did the install and were great arriving when expected and left the place clean after the work.

Great experience. Timely response to replace leaky water heater. Brandon assessed situation provided clear explanation and 3 options for new equipment. Arranged to get water heater delivered from other side of twin cities promptly. Entire time from leaky water heater to new water heater installed was 3.25 hours including the delivery of new heater. Daniel arrived and helped. Both were courtesy and professional. First time we used Hero and will definitely call them again!

I had an issue with my furnace and Hero came out on a Sunday to investigate and resolve the issue. They charged me $150 for that service call. The next day the furnace experienced the same issue and 2 technicians returned to try to resolve it. The technicians did not uncover any problems with the furnace. However they found 2 minor leaks in the fittings of the gas piping to the water heater. Hero sent out a plumbing technician to investigate and provide a quote to fix it. The quote amounted to $720 for maybe 2 hours of work. I either have to pay or risk having the natural gas service provider shut the gas to the house down until I could find another plumber to do it for a lower price. Not to mention that the temperature is in the single digits so thats definitely not an option. I attempted to negotiate the price but Hero would not budge. My first experience with Hero was positive but the cost to repair the gas fittings has tarnished my opinion of them. Note that I called Hero to complain about the cost and was told by the representative that my complaint will be escalated to management and that I should hear from someone within 24 to 48 hours.

Absolutely great experience with Brad from HERO. He went above and beyond to help us get the best deal on our HVAC needs. 10/10 recommend to anyone around the metro area!!

Second time talking to Tyler, and he has been great on both occasions, even when I need tons of extra info and reassurance. Gave a range of options from band-aids to overhaul, though thankfully we did not need rewiring. Took the time to explain and re-explain, which helps so much in the face of some pretty significant repairs. He was also happy to make tweaks to the estimate based on what we needed to prioritize. Our project isn’t done yet, but I am feeling comfortable and confident about the quality and service that will come with it.

UPDATE:Tyler, Nick, and Brett came to do the work today. I okayed the estimate Friday 7/12 and they were able to do the work the next Tuesday 7/16. We were first on the schedule, and they got here exactly when promised. Tyler walked us all through the estimate, then Nick and Brett were here for just over 5 hours working separately and together doing all the big and small things we needed. They checked in with me on whether I needed a generator set up while they worked, and whether I was ready for them to kill the power. They were super nice, patient with my dog’s supervision, and the work they did seems great. Things that didn’t work do, and things that were replaced look shiny and new. Bonus: our new circuit panel is even labeled so we don’t have to play guessing games as to which breaker runs which room anymore:) Not to brag or anything, but we appear to have a fully and properly functioning electrical system!

Sean was knowledgeable about anything and everything related to my home’s plumbing system. I learned a lot of valuable things I had no clue were related to my water system. Very honest about what was necessary and what was not. Highly recommend his service.

Basey was amazing and very knowledgeable. He took the time to make sure I understood everything and explained things in a way that made sense to me. He was very friendly and trustworthy. He was also very considerate about making sure to not track in any dirt or snow and cleaned up everything when he was done. Definitely one I would recommend and want to work with again!

Adam was Awesome! He was very thorough on the inspection of our furnace and duct work. He explained every detail and showed us pictures of our system, which really helped me understand how our system worked and what kind of attention it needed. Adam was not pushy at all, and laid out several options for us and reviewed our next steps. He was very courteous and friendly, and we could tell he loves what he does, and is very good at it. Adam was a pleasure to work with! Hero is lucky to have him!!!

Jake did our annual heating system checkout. He was very thorough and very friendly. He answered all our questions about radiator bleeding, system pressure, and overflow tank level. He showed how we can easily test the tank level ourselves. Finally, he diagnosed the problem with our thermostat and made a recommendation for the necessary replacement, along with mailing us the recommendation and estimate to install. His experience with various types of thermostats was very useful. We were very pleased with everything today.
