Another company told me I needed a new boiler for my home costing at least 7400 dollars. I called Owens for a second opinion. After inspecting the boiler Owens was able to fix it for under 500 dollars. Very honest company. They could have told me I needed a new boiler like the first company but instead were very honest and saved me a lot of money. Be very careful, I learned a lot of companies will tell you you need a new system to make a sale. Owens is the only company I will call in the future and would recommend them!

We called Owens Companies for an estimate on a new split ductless air conditioning system. Don came to our house the next day and carefully listened as we explained what we were looking for. He then provided a detailed estimate that captured our plan. Owens installed the system the next week. Owens technician Ben did most of the work and did a great job. He was punctual, courteous, and worked hard. We were particularly impressed that he went out of his way to run coolant lines through a complicated route without cutting any corners. The installed system cools effectively, efficiently, and quietly. We will definitely use Owens again for our heating and cooling needs.

They were not able to figure out how to regulate my two zone system after they installed a new Goodman high efficiency furnace. Having a 2 zone system for 20 + yrs worked just like it should for this long period of time. After Owens install- Messed up completely. To this day my basement zone is turned off on heat and warmer than my upper two floors reading 70 degrees for days??? Oddly enough because this is a basement and also super cold when basement zone is turned off for air conditioning in the summer?? New damper installed and new thermostats. Not happy with their past repeated visits to not solve this problem. Been 1 yr with 2 zones that do not work as a two zone system.
Also, There’s a window of time the technician was set up to come if he arrives earlier than that scheduled time and they sit in the driveway waiting to be let in the clock doesn’t start ticking on time spent waiting to be let in. Unethical.

We used Owens to replace an old furnace. The salesperson was knowledgeable and the person who installed it was awesome. The accounting department of Owens is what will get you. Very inefficient. I had to call multiple times to get our payment amount, and after we paid in full, they sent us multiple invoices to pay again? When I called to complain about this, no one returned my call. What the ?? Who ever is in charge of accounting needs serious training or should be replaced. They are the weak spot in the customer experience.

I wish I had called Owens years ago for help! From start to finish, the recent service provided on my furnace's failed blower motor could not have been better. The receptionist was friendly, empathetic and helpful, squeezing me in at a very busy time. The serviceman was timely, courteous, and skilled. Communication was excellent all around. I will only call Owens for all future heating and cooling needs. Many thanks!

Our furnace just wasn't keeping up this past weekend and the temps were headed below zero in the next few days. Fortunately, we called Owens Companies on Monday afternoon and their technician was here by noon the next day. It took some persistence on his part, but he determined which parts needed replacing and we were back up and running, just as the temps went below zero for the next 48 hours. Thanks for the quick response and the well trained technician replaced the parts that needed to be and tuned up the rest of the system. Thanks for the peace of mind!

Owens was able to fit me in for same day service after getting the absolute run around from SEVERAL other companies who had recommendations that were all over the board as it related to the repair of our boiler. As soon as the tech got in the door, he was immediately able to diagnose the issue with price transparency and make a speedy repair. We will never call anyone else. You really can’t beat the service from the lovely reception staff to the wildly competent repair personnel. So happy to have FINALLY found our go-to boiler service call. The peace of mind is totally unmatched. Thanks, Owens Company!

We called Owens to service our boiler system in our house. I remembered taking a photo of one of their vans signage recently and we ended up needed service. We called and had technician out within 2 days. Charles was professional, gave us a fair price and most importantly gave us peace of mind. I called Owen's for a complimentary second opinion after my furnace was red tagged/shut down by another company. They came out the day after I called. The tech was professional and knowledgeable. He put my mind at ease about carbon monoxide and went above and beyond. I ended up not needing the $2-3k in parts (or a new furnace because parts were not available for several weeks) as determined by the other company. In a time where good customer service is not the norm, this was a blessing! Thank you for offering this service. Owen's will be top of mind when the time comes for needing a new furnace.

I called Owens for a second opinion after being red-tagged by another company trying to sell me a new boiler yesterday. I called Owens in the evening, and by early the next morning, John from Owens was here. After a full inspection and lots of reassurance, John restarted my heat and let me know I would probably not need a new boiler for another 20 years! Just for extra reassurance he left me a low level carbon monoxide detector to view results for a couple of weeks. Service like this does not happen every day and not every company is lucky enough to have employees like John! Thank you Owens!

Last week we woke up to discover our 30 year old furnace had stopped working. We immediately called Owens! Customer service was friendly and attentive. Service was quick and professional. Pricing was honest and competitive. We love Owens and will continue to use them for all of out heating and cooling needs!
UPDATE: Owens Co continues to go above and beyond for their customers. We called Owens Co a few weeks after they installed our new furnace because we noticed water along the base of the furnace and floor of our utility room. John came out immediately and did a thorough examination of all our utilities and found the source of the problem was not related to the furnace. Instead of leaving me with the issue, he showed me what was wrong (detached hose and dirty filter on humidifier) and how to fix it without calling the plumber. His expertise beyond my furnace saved me a minimum of $200 in fees a plumber would charge to come out. You don't get that kind of service anymore. I highly recommend them!!

I cannot say enough good stuff about your company. I had the unfortunate experience of having another company come out and tell me that I needed $20,000 worth of work and try to sell me everything. Jim took a look, walked me through the tests he was doing, and then informed me that he recommended replacing one pipe valve. It cost me less than $500 and he was in and out in maybe an hour max! He took a look at the other recommendations that were given to me and disagreed with them. He recommended doing the repair that I needed, not the repair that would cost the most money. You have a new repeat customer. Thank you for showing me the difference between being a sales person and providing customer service. You provide customer service!

I called all the local Lennox dealers in the Twin Cities to help me with a warranty issue on my furnace. I got the run around and high prices from them all. When I spoke to Owens they understood my frustration and said they come out to take a look at no cost. All others wanted to recharge me for the same diagnosis fee that I already paid to one of them. Larry came over and immediately understood my challenges and said “I’m gonna help you and make this right.” He advocated on my behalf with the manufacturer and was able to secure me a new furnace under the warranty program. I ended up paying for the labor part which was not covered u see warranty ( which I knew). Larry was very patient answering questions and responding to my texts into the evening. He is a true professional and an asset to Owens. Josh was the technician who installed the furnace and he was very polite and courteous. He took his time to lay down cloths to protect my floors and kept a clean environment throughout the installation time. He also answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. Larry even came over to make sure the installation goes exactly as him and I discussed.

At the and of the day both gentlemen did an awesome job and the workmanship was beyond top quality. I’m mechanically inclined and fix things here and there so was impressed with the finishing touches. Thank you guys for a great experience !
