I wish I could give them negative stars. K&S replaced our AC unit through our home warranty. We still had issues after they completed their "work". Turns out, they replaced the unit but not the control console because we "didn't need it". Turns out we did, shocker. This was another month delay for our AC, through all of June. After the replaced the control console, we STILL had issues. They came AGAIN and blamed the filter. So we replaced that and surprise, the system continued to give us an error message. So we had another company come and check things out on our own dime. They said "if we did a job like this, we'd be fired". K&S did not secure out outside unit correctly, they went so far as to ask my husband if we had straps they could use to secure it rather than getting the right equipment to install it correctly. K&S also did not have the right size coil for out unit and once again, instead of waiting for the right material, they stretched the too small of a coil and taped it. Last but not least, they simply did not replace the part of our unit that gives us heat. Long story short, this company is an absolute nightmare. Avoid at all costs.

We’ve had K&S out two days in a row. The first day to put in a radon mitigation system and the second day to inspect and maintain our 30 year old furnace.
I expected them to say right off the bat that we needed to replace our furnace because of the age, but Tony was very thorough in cleaning and checking everything over and recommended we replace one (very reasonable) part to have our furnace be working at its best. He had the part in the truck and was able to do it right on the spot.
We have been highly satisfied with every employee we’ve come in contact with. They have all been punctual, respectful, and efficient. They made sure all questions were answered and that we were satisfied before they left. They were able to get both jobs done within days of me calling which was very important to us. They cleaned up after themselves when the jobs were finished and were done with the jobs in the amount of time quoted. I would highly recommend K&S. -
AC didn’t work two months after install due to faulty part. Incorrectly diagnosed problem twice. Hard to schedule appointments to get the right part—had two no-shows to these appointments and two other arrivals outside of window given from K&S (I was not home either time).
Furnace unit leaked water, I had to purchase and put in a pump a couple of months after install. Charged extra for that.
When I contacted office lead about all of these issues, I was told they were too busy with other clients. Would not go back to them, would not recommend -
We had a full furnace and AC replacement for our home a couple months back - not only was the salesperson very professional and helpful in identifying our needs, but the install crew was very friendly, accommodating, quick, and did a great job. Our new system has been great at keeping our house comfortable through the summer, and we're looking forward to testing out the furnace when it gets cool enough. The best part was the cost was really reasonable for the level of care and service that was provided. I will recommend K&S to our friends and neighbors in the future.

K&S was very responsive when I called about a refrigerant line leak and a new toilet install. I cannot complain about the service and I thought they did an excellent job overall. The only issue I had was a double charge to my card. I believe the issue arose from tapping my card first and then inserting it. Overall this did not affect the quality of their service and I would hire them again.

Honest and reliable. This company has saved me thousands. One company told me I had a leak and needed a new furnace, and K&S came out immediately and actually showed me there was no issue. Ask for their spring/fall package deal where they come out in tuneup your equipment, change all your filters, and give you honest feedback on your equipment - pricing is both reasonable and competitive, and they show up fast. Pro tip: as an honest company, home warranty companies are a big fan of their work (if you need to submit a claim).

Had several companies bid a new AC & furnace install for my home. K&S was not only priced fairly, but Steve was fantastic as the project manager and very responsive. Install crew did a great job removing the old system and installing the new and their electricians also did a fantastic job and did more than they needed to in cleaning up a previous 'homeowner special'. Highly recommend getting a quote from them if you're looking for a new AC or furnace.

WARNING! DECEPTIVE PRACTICES! SHADY MANAGEMENT AND OWNERSHIP. PICK ANYONE ELSE IN THE MARKET!
This company is contracted through most home warranty companies, that is a hint to not use them for any service. When our furnace died, it was “covered” under warranty. However, K&S found a way to charge me an additional $1500 for “extraordinary install”. When back-up for this charge was requested they could
not prove the charge, instead they charge a flat rate based on the BTU of the furnace.
As someone who uses more reputable hvac businesses in the area, this was a simple swap in and out of a system requiring no modifications. When I called the office and the home warranty department, they only offered me $600 as a cash out option or to pay the $1500 in extra chargers. They take advantage of people in tough situations and profit from it. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM.
UPDATE: Their response continues to ignore the fact that the warranty company pays them for these installs and purchases the necessary products for installation. K & S then takes advantage of the consumer by charging on top of the $$$ they already receive from the warranty company for “non covered items”. Um, you are paid for the install, what else isn’t covered? Comical and outright shady. -
Our AC went out a few weeks back, and had to file a claim through AHS home warranty, we put in our claim around 10pm and K&S came out the next day to inspect our unit. We unfortunately had to get a new unit ordered, the process was an absolute bear with our home warranty HOWEVER everything from start to finish has been a breeze on K&S heating. A few weeks went by and we just had our new unit installed. Everyone has been professional and great to work with. Our only issue (which had nothing to do with K&S) had been our home warranty. They covered very little and forced us to take this long to get our new unit installed.

K&S responded in a timely manner during the cold weather when my Furnace wouldn’t work properly. The furnace ended up having a bad flame sensor that cost $8.88. I was charged $218 for the part which is a 2,400% price mark up. I was also charged for labor and the service call. Soon completion the furnace was completely inspected and given a clean bill of health and operating normally. Overnight, the same problem started to continue. I called K& S to return the following morning and couldn’t get a technician scheduled to recheck the work that they warranty until the following day. With the cold temperatures and danger of water pipes freezing I have had to call a different contractor to complete repairs properly that K&S supposedly repaired and warrantied. K&S stated they would not cover the cost of and subsequent pipe damage if occurred, not the cost of having another contractor complete a service that they already warranty. I would not recommend K&S due to their poor customer service after the visit and their exorbitant price mark up parts.
Update: after making multiple calls to different individuals and gaining no traction I scheduled a separate contractor to evaluate the furnace problem. They found the pressure switches to be the problem. K&S somehow found the time to show back up and then also found the pressure switches to be faulty. The technician left and returned with the parts and repaired the furnace for no additional charge. We do appreciate the response we eventually received. We did not expect to get the new parts for free. We understand it’s a business and there are costs associated with running one. We had only hoped for a quality repair and evaluation at a fair price. However grateful we are with the final result, I can’t help but wonder how many more unsuspecting customers are being charged exorbitant mark up prices simply because they don’t have a clue on what things really cost. Being an electrical contractor by trade I would be professionally embarrassed to have been caught doing this. Buyer beware! -

They fixed my furnace issue and were both friendly over the phone and in person. The technician was very professional and let me ask a lot of questions about our furnace issue.

Is any business that would side with Culligan water is shady Culligan water had an iron filter in our home when we moved in that failed and they inspected it 2 months prior and said it was working just fine Cullgan is all about money they don't care about your water quality so why would Owens care about your heating and air conditioning.
