Bloomington Heating & Air provided a much lower quote than another popular Twin Cities HVAC company. When they arrived to do the work, they also suggested another improvement for my basement airflow that was greatly appreciated. Everyone I engaged (from the office, estimator and installers) was super friendly. The owner even called me when I had last a message after hours! Extremely impressed!

Verlon did a great job with making sure my furnace was tuned up. He was super nice and professional and reassured me that my appliances were in great shape. I am super pleased with their service and will continue to use them in the future!!

Our furnace died several years ago during a bitter cold snap. Bloomington Heating came to our rescue as soon as they could. The sales rep was terrific at explaining our options. And Cody and his coworker were great at installing the furnace and later the air conditioner when the weather allowed. Cody rescued us when the furnace died a week ago. Not their fault. We need a new, upgraded fuse box. We appreciate their quick response and professional service. And Cody is a fun guy. I can highly recommend this company.

My furnace was making some scary noises, so we called for a diagnosis. Cody was friendly and great at listening to my questions and concerns. It was also nice getting contacted prior to his arrival so I was prepared. After he checked everything, he explained my options very clearly, and offered a free quote for a new furnace just in case, because ours is pretty old. Fair price for coming out to check for issues and make sure my furnace was running properly. Would use their services again! Thank you.

This is the second time Cody has been out to our home. The first time, was 6 months ago, to fix an issue with our AC.
Today was for the furnace. He was on time, called ahead, and again the service was excellent and he thoroughly explained the issue and our options.

Wonderful experience. Verlon arrived within an hour of my phone call saying our furnace was not working. Quickly diagnosed and explained what he thought the issue was. Replaced flame sensor and checked CO 2 for safety and had furnace working properly all within 2 hours.

Cody did a wonderful job? He fixed the leak in our furnace-based humidifier and made some recommendations for regular maintenance and future peace of mind. We recently had Bloomington Heating and Air out to install our new furnace and AC. We are very happy with the service and prices provided at BH&A. Everyone that we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. We would recommend.

I have used Bloomington Heating and Air for about 15 years, and my Dad used them for a lot longer than that at his house. These guys have always done a great job by us and I highly recommend their service program that allows for a higher level of service as long as they come out once in a while and check out your HVAC equipment. The technician that I had come out was very thorough. He called ahead, showed up on time, covered his boots, and was diligent and careful to fill out his checklist.

This company hit all the marks: called me day of appointment to confirm tech was en route; service tech (Cody) arrived on time, was professional, friendly, great communicator, very knowledgeable, identified furnace problem after thorough troubleshooting. Office scheduler (Amy) also very pleasant and helpful (got us into schedule same day!). This was our first experience with Bloomington H&A and I'm not sure what more I can say that the hundreds of other 5 star reviews haven't said already, so I'll leave you with this: Scott and Eric (owners) clearly have built the kind of service business that every homeowner hopes to find. Small (12 people), family-owned, local, focused on fairness, honesty, reliability, and integrity, they are the kind of team that relieves not just the stress that comes on a hot or freezing day when your HVAC system fails, they also being peace of mind because I know I can trust them to do what's best for the homeowner.

I would recommend Bloomington Heating and Air to all my neighbors. My furnace stopped working, Cody was able to inspect it the Same day that I called. He was very thorough and honest. I needed anew furnace, as it was 25 years old. We decided to replace the air-conditioning unit at the same time. Luke came out within a couple of hours to give us a detailed estimate after a complete inspection. I never felt high pressure sales tactics. He was honest and upfront, and we were able to get installation the next day. Ethan and Ethan came out and were very professional, showed me in detail what I needed to know with the new humidifier, air filter and thermostat. I can already tell a huge difference with the new furnace, much quieter, more efficient.

Our A/C went out on the hottest day of this summer. The entire system was 25 years old. Eric replaced the entire HVAC system very quickly and at a very reasonable cost. We highly recommend Airic’s Heating.

Last week my furnace was replaced by John from Airic's. He was an excellent installer- a perfectionist. He worked alone and did it all. Great sheetmetal skills and pipe fitter. Obviously took pride in what he was doing and the area was cleaner than when he started!

Came out the very same day I requested a bid and got working on the project the next day. Within three days they were done with a whole new heating and cooling system installed in my newly purchased home. I can't recommend them enough.

Sadly incompetent company! Before you dismiss this review as just another whiny review, please read it.

First, I should say that we never set out to hire Airic's. We purchased a furnace through Centerpoint Energy, our natural gas utility, and they contracted the work out to Airic's. We purchased the highest-end furnace available, as well as the necessary compatible thermostat and a specialized air cleaner. We already had a whole-house humidifier and an air exchanger on our HVAC system as well.

Visit 1: removed old furnace, installed new furnace - 12 hours, as they had to build accommodations because the newer furnace is more compact in size.

Visit 2: Repair to the new thermostat because it was installed incorrectly. Technicians informed us that they "don't know too much about these fancy ones". 1 hour

Visit 3: Removal of new furnace, because they installed a much less expensive model than the one we purchased. 11 hours

Visit 4: Repair to hook the thermostat up to the now correct furnace. Same reason given as visit 2. 1 hour.

Visit 5: Furnace doesn't turn on and stay on. "Recalibration" needed. 1 hour.

Visit 6: Air conditioner won't function (existing but only a few years old). More "recalibration" needed. 2 hours.

3 months pass, and we have entered Minnesota winter. Our air is unusually dry, and we discover that our whole-house humidifier isn't working properly. We discover that they never hooked it back up - the wires that allow our humidifier to operate are unattached. Within a week, we receive a letter that we are in violation of the installation process because we never scheduled a city inspection for the furnace installation - which we were never once advised to do during the 6 visits detailed above. We contact our city and learn that Airic's took out a permit for installation of an air conditioner, not a furnace. We then contact the natural gas utility, Cenerpoint, and a QA manager comes out to our home at our request to look everything over, because we are not confident that the quality of the work performed would pass a city inspection, even with the correct permit. QA manager's response? Not a chance. Several steps were either done badly or skipped altogether. 2 situations are actually hazardous, and the lack of sealing holes in the unit has completely negated the efficiency of the new furnace.
