HVAC reviews in Eden Prairie, Minnesota

They came to my house to inspect my air ducts and ended up damaging my heating system. Magically, after their visit, it stopped working. The customer service is terrible. You hire them for a service just to be told that your ducts are “horrible.” DO NOT HIRE THEM.
I was going to pay $1,000 for their cleaning, but I canceled it. -
We had our ducts and dryer vent cleaned last week and I wish we had used a different company. The service started out great with a prompt arrival by the employee who was very professional and knowledgeable about the cleaning. He explained the process and told us the cleaning would take about 3 hours.
He went about his business, and we tried to stay out of his way while he worked. The cleaning ended up taking about 4 hours, which was no big deal, just different than we had been told. After he left, we walked around our home and that's when we started to question the service.
He had put a saran wrap type material over the vents for the process and many of the vents still have remnants on the vents. There was also a large amount of dust/debris around many of the vents on the hardwood floors and carpet. The white baseboards near the vents were covered in black dust. Our utility room where he accessed the furnace and vents was caked with this same debris. Unfortunately, I didn't think to take pictures of these areas before I had to spend over an hour cleaning up the mess.
We scheduled the service to have our vents cleaned and one of the main reasons was to clean our dryer vent. When we went outside afterward, we found a huge mess located below our dryer vent. We could tell that the vent had been cleaned, but it looked like all the lint was just left on our rocks below the vent.
The cleaning was $349 plus $7 because I used a credit card. Shortly after getting the service done, I saw an ad on social media from the same company offering the same service for $199.
To top it all off, I had been instructed to change our furnace filter 2-3 days after the cleaning to allow the system to clear out any remaining debris from the vents. When I went to change the vent, I found that the existing furnace filter had been replaced back into the system backwards. In and of itself not a big deal, but just icing on the cake.
I'm writing this review almost two weeks post service. The website promotes this service by offering a "Free Before & After Camera Inspection." I was told by the employee that I'd be receiving an email with this information along with a receipt. I've yet to receive this information. Based on the poor quality of the service that is visible, it really makes me question the quality of what is hidden from view in the vents. Maybe there is a reason that I have yet to receive the camera inspection??? -
The service and professionalism from Air Duct Cleaning Corp were outstanding. The technician worked efficiently while taking the time to explain the specific needs of my property. I never felt pressured or upsold on unnecessary services. I highly recommend them.

I just had my HVAC Ducts and Vents cleaned by MN Air Duct Cleaning Corp and I think it was a great value at $249.
Jayshon was the technician that came out. He was very polite and professional and explained things clearly. He inspected the furnace and made a few recommendations but I just stuck with the basic plan since I'd already cut a cashier's check.
I have 20 vents and Jayshon went through them all which was a lot of work. He was busy for like 2 hours. I'm quite pleased overall. -
We had our air ducts cleaned on a Saturday, and the experience was very disappointing. The technicians left vent covers on the floor, dust bunnies around the vents, and did not inform us that we should check or replace the furnace filter after the cleaning.
That lack of communication caused our filter to become clogged, which led to our furnace struggling to heat the house. We spent a very cold night and ended up calling a plumber, only to find out the issue was a dirty filter—likely from the duct cleaning. This could have been completely avoided with basic professionalism and guidance.
While we understand some cleanup is expected, the work felt sloppy and left us with little confidence that the vents were thoroughly cleaned. Overall, very unprofessional and disappointing experience -
Requested they come out for duct vent cleaning for our 5,600 sq ft property. They made an appointment w us next day.
Our tech was Dylan who did a fantastic job. Havn’t seen a guy work that hard in a while, he was working non-stop for 2.5 hours cleaning out the vents and our two furnaces. Friendly, efficient and professional.
This company was recommended to me by the owner of MN Dryer Vent Guys whom I trusted. -
Really Disappointed. Buyer Beware: the warranty is not worth the paper it’s printed on.
Well to to keep a long story short. Terrell came out in August to clean my vents.
During the really cold snap we had our less than 2 yr old furnace was only keeping our house warm to 65 degrees. So I had the company that installed our furnace out to fix the furnace.
Come to find out that the furnace was caked with dust from the duct Cleaning. Per Matty V heating. MN Air Duct Cleaning should have blocked the furnace from getting possible dust from the cleaning. That is per Victor and the technician from Matty V heating and cooling.
The technician from Matty V got us to a point that the house was somewhat warm. But did state that there was a lot of dust in the upper part of the furnace. He stated it would be a lot of work.
Thinking that MN Air Duct Cleaning would honor the 100% guarantee.
I talked to Jacob. He was so sincere when I talked to him. He stated he was going to send out a supervisor Victor.
Well guess what they sent out Terrel. He was the tech that caused the whole issue. I call the next day. Finally got to talked to Jacob he was very apologetic. He meant to have Victor come out.
We set an appointment for Victor to come out. I gave him the phone number for the technician from Matty V’s heating. He was nice enough to call him. The went over what the technician saw.
Victor was in agreement after his inspection that Terrel and his company caused the problem. Victor during the conversation with the technician from Matty V’s went over what they would do to clean the up part of our furnace. The technician informed him that would void our furnace warranty.
After Victor finished the inspection we called Jacob. He stated that he was meeting with the owner that week. That would discuss how they would get us reimbursed for the repairs. I had already paid $250.00. We had an estimate from Matty V that to get the furnace up and running 100% it would cost and other $700.00.
I sent them the paid in full invoice along with pictures of the upper unit caked in dust.
I call just about every day till Christmas and New Year’s. Wanting to get an update from Jacob about getting reimbursed. Finally January 30th Jacob called me back. He told me that he was going to overnight a check for $250.00. Then he would talk to the owner how they would handle the $700.00. I have sent an email and called a few more times! Left messages. I was encouraged one day when I was told that Jacob was going to call me by 1:00 pm that day.
Well here we are a week or so later no call nor no overnight check for $250.00.
My wife is retired and we have had to not pay couple of bills because we had to found somewhere to come up with $950.00 just before Christmas. -
So glad I made an appointment. Don arrived and was professional and knowledgeable about the service the company provides. He explained everything and showed me images of before and after. Lastly he told me what could be done to continue good cleaning and air flow for the future. This young man is a gem and should be acknowledged for what he brings to the job. I highly recommend and will use in the future. Expectations exceeded. Thank you.

Don arrived on time and was very professional while cleaning our ducts. He updated me on all the steps and was thorough with the cleaning. He explained what he did and what the services we paid for covered and what it didn't. He was very personable and clear in his explanations. He shared before and after pictures that really made me appreciate the work he had done. I would highly recommend MN Air Duct as a result of my experience.

First off, Victor was great and down to earth. I enjoyed chatting with him while he got the work done and he was happy to explain anything I asked about. I had them clean all ducts and trunk lines, plus clean my furnace blower motor. He was thorough and Im confident my ducts are finally clean after all these years. Thank you Victor for the awesome job and thank you MN Air Duct Cleaning Corp for being upfront with pricing and arriving in a timely manner. Also, I know Victor froze his tail off because I scheduled this on the coldest day of the year so far, I apologize for that but he was a trooper. I would highly recommend.

I signed up for the minimum package, and after seeing the before pictures, I realized that I needed their top package. They discovered black mold and mitigated that and I also had to deal with that on another level which required the removal of some air ducting and Terrell Williams was my Tech that did the phenomenal job taking before, and after photos and coached me through the process when he found items that needed to be done, which I had to authorize the experience was amazing. He was very thorough and there’s no way that zero Rez could ever be that detail these guys Minnesota Air debt. Cleaning) are the go to in a situation like what I had. I have zero particles now in a completely sanitized system I breathe way better yes, I would highly recommend Terrell Williams phenomenal.

Technician was really nice however he smelled like marijuana.
He did spend a good 2 1/2 hours working on cleaning the air ducts as well as the main trunk lines.
However, he brought back a lot of dirt down into the main section of the furnace and left it there with a dirty filter Said he'd vacuum off, but it was actually really bad still and I needed to replace as quick as possible to try to prevent mold spores
The only reason we had this done was for mold, remediation, finalization, and I feel like it spread things throughout the house instead of actually getting more cleaned up.
I do not recommend and I would not use it again
I do feel, however, that my ducts are more clean and trunk lines, but the aftermath cleanup was not worth my time And now that the whole house was already deep cleaned I do not feel that the house is anymore. That stuff has been blowing throughout post with the very dirty filter he pulled back debris on left in.
I should have paid the extra money and use the mediation company to do the job
Pay too much for this as well -
Terrell was FANTASTIC! Very professional, let me watch what he was doing because i have never seen a duct cleaning before AND…. HE FOUND MY NECKLACE down the vent! A very nice white gold chain, I was so appreciative. He handed it to me so proudly and he got a big hug!!
Also, I had just paid a company decent money for a furnace tune- up and complete cleaning. Terrell discovered, the company DID NOT do what they should have and Terrell provided me pictures to prove it! I will be getting our system cleaned in another two or three years and I will request him with hopes he is still with the company. Hopefully they keep him and treat him well because he represents the company very very well! Thank you Terrell -
Terrell Williams was out tech and he did a thorough job and was very neat and professional about his work! We took advantage of a coupon and got vent cleaning for $199. My only constructive criticism is that the coupon should have disclosed that main trunk cleaning at additional charge is needed to clean the entire forced air supply and return system. That brought the total cost to $398, which is a fair price, but not explained on the coupon.
All said, I would work with this vendor again, especially if I could get Terrell! -
I used Mn Air Duct Cleaning Corp to clean my air ducts and the service and pricing was simply amazing. From scheduling service online, to the actual cleaning was above reproach. Don, the technician, was so kind. professional and was very thorough. He was on time and did a walk thru prior to him starting the work. He explained the services he was going to provide and recommended a service based on his findings that was absolutely critical to maintain the service I requested, He cleaned behind himself as he went from room to room. I was provided before and after pictures and was very impressed how my house smelled after the work was done. I will definitely use this service again and will recommend it to family and friends.
I am so satisfied with the service Don rendered today. I rate him a 12 out of 10, that's how confident I am of the service I received today. -
We hired this company to clean our air ducts purely as a precaution after moving into our home. Prior to their service, we had no issues with dust, debris, or airflow from any vents.
After the technician left, we discovered that dust and debris were blowing out of the vents and had settled throughout the house, including a thick layer on our kitchen/bathroom counters and other surfaces (see photos). I contacted the company immediately and requested a follow-up visit and asked that they hire a company to clean our home. Instead of sending a field manager as promised, the same technician returned and spent several more hours blowing out the vents, without acknowledging that the first visit had contaminated our home.
The problem persisted after the second visit. While most vents eventually stopped blowing debris, the kitchen vent continued to deposit drywall dust onto the counters daily. After repeated calls, a field manager finally came out and confirmed there was debris trapped in the kitchen supply line and attempted to vacuum it out. Even after this visit, debris continued to blow from the kitchen vent.
At this point, my partner and I had already hired a cleaning company and had been wiping down the kitchen multiple times a day for a couple weeks. With holiday guests arriving, I was forced to install a filter directly over the kitchen vent just to stop the dust. I requested reimbursement for the cleaning costs, but the company did not respond until nearly a month later—and only after I threatened to post a review and file a BBB complaint.
Two months later, I am writing this review. At this point, we've spent approximately $700 (including cleaning fees), spent weeks dealing with a mess they created, and now have an HVAC system that requires a filter in the kitchen vent to prevent debris from entering the living space—an issue that did not exist before this company performed the work. Management recently claimed they could not properly clean this part of the system due to water damage (despite having already blasted it with compressed air during 2 of the 3 earlier visits) and offered a fractional refund, to which we insisted on a full refund because we had a clean, functioning house and they left it dirty and dysfunctional. To this, they promised to get back to us on January 19th. It is now the 24th and we have not heard from them. We decided we are done wasting our time with this company, and we hope sharing this experience helps other homeowners protect their homes from MN Air Duct Cleaning Corp.
If you are considering duct cleaning, make sure you actually need it and do not let this company into your home. In our case, MN Air Duct Cleaning Corp turned a system with no dust problems into an ongoing HVAC and debris issue and took no responsibility. -
