Jon and his crew did a great job taking our 50ft ash tree down. They made quick and clean work of it. Great guys and easy to work with.

I had A-1 take down a tree that stood over 120 feet and they did a remarkable job! The crew showed up when they said they would. The clean up was excellent, not a stick left behind! Thanks A-1! I will definitely be calling you for my next outdoor landscaping project,

My apartment had a broken water pipe a couple of weeks ago that flooded my entire apartment- (because our new owners, who have been renovating the entire building since June), could NOT be bothered to answer any of the phone calls made to the EMERGENCY number, OR ANY of our managers, even from the POLICE. Finally, after one of them actually called Jon, the owner of A-1 Maintenance, Inc.,he got here as quickly as possible- they had not bothered to even come out to check the damages, or call me for more details. So Jon got here about 11:15 am- when the burst pipe happened at 5:55 am! He wondered why nobody even called him earlier, when there was OBVIOUSLY so much water damage- even under my door and into other apartments. Down the hall. Down the floors to lower apartments. This could have all been taken care of BEFORE it got bad. But nobody returned their multiple EMERGENCY phone calls. Jon and his crew assessed the water situation- which had flooded my entire apartment. I live in a wheelchair- so they set up trying to get all my boxes of ruined belongings put up into a table they brought in so they could install large dehumidifiers and fans in every room. They took into account that I live alone, with no help. They were the ONLY people that even showed up to help take care of the problems. Management NEVER even came to see all of my belongings that had to sit, soaking wet, all over my bathroom so that they could dry out-for four days. I could not even take a shower- STILL haven’t- for 17 days! Jon and his crew have been absolutely amazing during this whole fiasco- even talking to “management” for me because they are ONLY concerned about SLL TGE OTHER units that are having the same issues- as well as heating issues. Every time someone shows up to work on anything, they get called away to work on another person’s issues! But THANK GOD for Jon and his crew. THEY “get it”. They have helped me SO MUCH- and have been in the business for SO MANY YEARS- that they have a vast range of knowledge-and experience- that puts these apartment owners to shame! I have been moved to a non-handicap unit until they “renovate” my apartment. Management was SUPPOSED TO make sure that everything was in working order before I was expected to move 2 floors up- in 1 day- after THEY decided it was TIME. I had 2 movers provided, Alex and Bailey, who were astounded by how management” handled my situation. And they insisted that I live in the mess in my unit for 9 days before finally moving me into another unit. NO HEAT. Cannot even use the toilet or shower! The oven was never even plugged in! The electrician has been here a couple of times- the A/C unit is up by the ceiling? Pointed to the roof. The ages-old remote for it had batteries in backwards- and no cover to keep them IN. I could not even stand up to TRY to turn it in to see if it worked. The thermostat was dead. When he finally got here, he said that it had NO BATTERIES at all. No wonder nothing works here at all! I have to use the TUB ROOM down the hall any time I need to use the toilet! I can hardly get through doorways or halls because my wheelchair is too wide (and it is the child-size one). I cannot turn in the kitchen because my chair gets stuck on the cabinets- so I need to keep going in one way- then go to the end to turn around/ just to get something out of the refrigerator or the cabinets. I need to cook EVERYTHING in the microwave because they NEVER even plugged in the oven/ and I certainly cannot pull it out to plug it in- from my wheelchair! Thank God, I received an email this morning saying that Jon will come back to THIS apartment today to put in space heaters and I hope to have him pull out my oven to plug it in. They are also going to see IF the electrician will return to finally fix THIS disaster of a heater! In between all the OTHER heaters that are either not working at all, or are spewing out 90 degree heat! I wish that Jon’s A-1 Maintenance could be our ONLY maintenance company! They actually CARE about us residents- AND our community!

Jon and his team help me remove 2 big trees next to my house. On time, worked well together and made the entire process clean and simple. Tree's were remove and everything picked up as expected. Absolutely would recommend Jon and his team on any project you have.

Jon and his crew helped us with a tree that we needed planting in our yard to replace one that fell down in a storm. They came and planted the tree when they said they would, had a friendly crew, and did a great job. We are completely happy with the job they did, and would strongly recommend this company.
