Mark's Plumbing provided a competitive proposal for the desired water heater quickly. The new water heater was installed two days after acceptance of the proposal, and the installer did a great job.

I have insurance through Black Hills Energy. One of the policies covers outside sewer problems. My floor drain in my basement was completely plugged. I contacted BHE and they hooked me up with Mark's Plumbing who came Thursday. The guys were so nice. When they were checking the problem, I asked if it was an inside or outside sewer problem. They said inside so I couldn't have them work on it since I didn't have inside sewer coverage. I had to call another company. I got Taylor's Sewer & Drain. They checked and told me it was an outside sewer line issue. They specialized in sewer line work where Mark's might not. I don't blame Mark's Plumbing, I blame Black Hills Energy for not getting the right company for the job. I was upset to have to miss 5 hours of work Friday when it could have been fixed Thursday when Mark's was there. Again, Mark's Plumbing is a good company and the guys were very nice.

*Update* Have used Marks a few times sense and this experience is not a one off. They have provided consistent and phenomenal service every time.*
Had an issue with my water pressure being too high. Called a competitor they quoted 950 for a repair. Seemed crazy high so I called Marks they first out my mind at ease about the issue then let me know the probable solution over the phone and scheduled a time to come out the next day. They actually called and asked if they could come early. They came quickly diagnosed and gave me a long term fix for the issue. Not only that they let me know the likely cause which their competitor said he had no idea.
Not only were they nice fast and efficient they cost less than half of what was quoted by their competitor. They have now earned my family's business for any time I have a plumbing need.
**Update** I had another plumbing issue (completely separate from the original) they once again came out provided exceptional service and gave us a very affordable long term solution- The guy who came lived in our community and clearly cared about not only the job itself but the community as a whole which speaks to the core of this company and who they hire. They have solidified our business for our family for whatever issue they cover.

When our tree roots finally destroyed our 1920 ceramic sewer line, Jordan and his crew quickly came to our rescue. They arrived early, removed one side of the chain link fence, and got the backyard dug up as efficiently and minimally as possible, while installing new pvc lines with above-ground taps so it never has to be dug up again. And then, they put it all back so well, all we have left to do is to plant grass seed! These guys are the best plumbers in Lincoln in my book!

I’ve used them in the past for sewer drain removal, but this time they were contracted through Best Buy to install a dishwasher. My electrical needed updated so they needed to drop off the dishwasher and come back and install it- a service I paid extra for. They had me sign the paper saying it was complete through Best Buy and wanted me to call them personally to come back and install it, they said it’s easier for them paperwork wise that way. It made me slightly uncomfortable, but since I had worked with them In the past I said ok. Big mistake. My kitchen is in the midst of major repairs so it took about 3 weeks to have work finished, I called and the secretary was so ungodly rude I wasn’t on some “list” even after I tried to explain the situation several times to her. I literally had to tell her to stop telling me about her “list”. I finally said leave my number with your boss, I’m calling Best Buy and making a complaint. That’s what I did. They reschedule back with them by opening up the work order again. - and low and behold the day before the apt 3:25 pm - apt is 9 am next day- they cancel and say they can’t come at all and put me with another service provider after my complaint. Lesson learned.

It's easy to leave a 1 star review. Takes more work when you have to think about how a company that goes above and beyond should be recognized. Used Mark's plumbing for a shower leak, and they went above and beyond. Had to get it approved through my warranty company, but they kept me in the loop while doing that. The guys showed up on time, kept the drywall cuts to a minimum, fixed the issue, AND cleaned up. Seems simple, but you'd be surprised. I'll be using them again!!! 10 stars.

Will definitely use Marks Plumbing for any future needs they came within 2 days replaced my water heater, I didn’t need to take time off work to be there, and they were reasonably priced better then 2 other competitors. Highly recommend!

The guys arrived on time, completed the work efficiently and cleaned up. They met all my expectations and then some. We had an emergency, they fit us in to their schedule and completed a 2 day job in 1 day. Also, the final bill was under their original estimate. Really nice to have water again, thanks for a great job Jordan.

I just had Mark's Plumbing out to clear a main drain line. They were fantastic. They knew exactly what they were doing. They were clean, thorough, and respectful of my time. They showed me what they cleared and recommended a product to avoid the blockage in the future. I would definitely use them again and refer anyone to them.

I was very pleased with the installation of our dishwasher. Mike was punctual, explained what he was doing, and was very quick and efficient. I would recommend Mark's Plumbing to anyone.

They came a little early which was ok. They got right to work and did a great job. They cleaned everything out when they were done. Filled out an online request for an estimate to replace my water heater, Mike called and said they could come out the next day. My work schedule wouldn't allow for that, so Mike said he could come out that day, he would make the time. Within the hour, one of his guys rang my doorbell, I showed him what I had, we talked and he started the replacement. In less than 4 hours, I went from an online form to what I needed, at a price and warranty I was very comfortable with. And did it in a timeframe that is unheard of. I can't say thank you enough, I know my situation was unusual, but I would recommend this business all day long, give them 2 thumbs up, 5 stars, and whatever else I could to say thank you !!! Old heater and new heater pictures, see a difference? Me neither, looks like it was never touched, just different stickers, lol

Greyson & Mike did a great job today and worked super hard until the job was done.
We needed a washer/dryer unit installed, as well as a dishwasher. In order to install my washer, they had to do redo a the plumbing which they did a great job of. Then, they came across another tiny leak and took quick care of that too. I believe the job took longer than anticipated but, the boys were kind and positive the entire time. They were professional while in our home and professional while making phone calls to coworkers and outside companies. Their fellow employees were also helpful, coming over to aid when our old house took a couple unanticipated turns. It was evening before they finished & dark but, they got the work done in one day and we are thankful for that.

I wanted to thank Sean and Jesus for the great job they did. It was alot of work and they worked hard to get the job done. Lot of drain repair and moving of lines to complete the job. Everything works great, no more leaks. Thanks to the estimator I actually think the stove have more flame with the replacement of the 1/2 steel line with a smaller 3/8 line? Mark’s Plumbing did an outstanding job replacing our sewer line and sprinkler backflow preventer. From start to finish, they were a pleasure to work with. They handled everything seamlessly, including coordinating with our insurance company, which took a huge load off our shoulders. Communication was clear and consistent throughout the process, and they even offered a payment plan for the remaining balance, which we greatly appreciated.

Mark’s plumbing did a fantastic Job fixing our broken sewer pipe. We had emergency with our sewer pipe and it needed to be fixed immediately to prevent further issues within our house. We initially called one of the “bigger” guys in town and their prices were insane. We wanted to second quote and that’s when we called Marks! They provided all the info we needed and were half the cost and did just as good of a job. In fact, they caught an issue that the bigger guy missed. That was the deciding point for us. There was a small issue during the repair that Marks was responsible for but they quickly promised to fix it and they did. Highly recommend them for your pluming needs in town! Thanks guys!

We hired Marks Plumbing to replace about 40' of 100 year old clay-tile sewer pipe that had broken and was causing backup. Not only was their price amazingly fair (beat competitors by more than 50%), Mike Montanez was fantastic to deal with given we had some unique cross-property easement issues. Adding to this, his crew of Jordan, Jordan, and Grayson were incredibly polite, kind, and were super helpful in unearthing some treasures that came out of the ground during the excavation. No way in hell I'd hire anyone else for this kind of work. We're stunned by how well this project went, given the stressful situation it was. Water heater went out, got it replaced within a few days. Reasonably priced compared to other competitor. Offered slightly better labor warranty. Replaced shutoff valve and did not charge extra for anything beyond the quote I was given over the phone. Gave information about getting a rebate from the gas company which I also appreciated. Overall satisfied and recommend this service.
