Andrew with Advanta Clean came out and did a great job treating my basement after recent flooding rains. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and did a great job cleaning up. Would highly recommend his company!

Let me start off with saying that Andrew is great! He is very responsive and personable. I first called him to address possible mold in the attic, which he quickly identified as not mold. He didn't charge me for that service, but I did see that his business cleans HVAC ducts. He quickly placed me on the schedule. I am very pleased with his work. He cleaned the ducts---removed a surprising amount of dirt---then left the house just as clean as when arrived. I highly recommend Andrew and his business.

We had water damage in our basement that resulted in black mold on our walls and carpet. This was our first time dealing with black mold and water damage, which Andrew made the whole process simple and guided us along on what needed to be done. Andrew also kept in contact with us for our appointment and made arrangements in his schedule to get the job done sooner. The owner, Andrew, from AdvantaClean, was the only business willing to inspect my home for the issue I saw before giving an estimate for the work. The other companies gave me a rough off-the-cuff estimate over the phone and would not schedule a time to see the issue. Andrew also recommended that we needed a dehumidifier for our home to take care of the issue we were experiencing, which worked. He clearly explained the whole process to me, so there were no surprises. AdvantaClean scheduled the work when I was available to be home. Andrew arrived on time and did all the work himself. He was polite, professional, and efficient with his work and cleaned up the area once the job was complete. I was very impressed with AdvantaClean and will use them again!

I submitted a contact form to request an estimate and clearly stated in my message that my preferred method of communication was email only. Instead, I received phone calls. This makes it obvious that my message was not fully read. If a business cannot take the time to review and respect a simple customer request, it does not inspire confidence in the quality of service.

Warning to those considering using this company. Had an insurance claim to have them handle the mold mitigation, and it turned into a complete nightmare. I've been a landlord for years, and I know a thing or two about repairs, but this company's incompetence left me stunned.

The house my tenant was in had a water line leak and black mold behind the sink, which needed immediate attention. I reached out to them, hoping for a prompt and professional response, but what I got was anything but that. Their interactions were consistently unfriendly, and they seemed to take pleasure in making condescending remarks.

When I offered to assist in any way I could, they dismissed my offer, claiming I'd only slow down the process. Well, let me tell you, they didn't need any help slowing things down because it already took them a whopping two weeks just to tear out the affected areas. I thought that was bad enough, but it got even worse when they took another three weeks just to report back on their findings.

But that wasn't the end of their disappointing performance. When I initially approached them, they assured me they would estimate the job accurately, only to backtrack later and claim they never agreed to estimate the reconstruction. Really? How can you mitigate mold without thinking about reconstructing the job?

Finally, after months of waiting, they presented their "value" for the work they had done - $5,000! To think they had the audacity to bill insurance for tearing out two drywall sheets, 8ft of backsplash, 8.5ft of lower cabinets, and a sink. It's absolutely ridiculous!

Now, it's already August 2nd, and my tenant is still without a kitchen! The whole process started on June 18th, and this company's incompetence and slow progress have been nothing but an embarrassment. Their estimate for 4 cabinets, 2 drywall sheets, 1 formica top and some backsplash, repurposing all that could be reused, was nearly $10,000.

I strongly advise anyone considering this company to think twice. Their lack of professionalism, poor communication, and absurd pricing make them a company you'll regret dealing with. Avoid them at all costs and save yourself from the headache and frustration I had to endure.

HIGHLY RECOMEND. We had a water pipe burst in our basement after hours on a Friday. Brian and his crew were on point with every aspect of their service. The crew showed up and responded quickly and stopped by each day to monitor and track the drying process. Clean, respectful and knowledgeable.
