I had an outstanding experience with Bob’s AC & Repair from start to finish. I was able to schedule an appointment while out of state — effortlessly and without any delays. Bob's Repair is outstanding in every way! We had a whole new HVAC system and water heater installed yesterday. My entire experience was amazing from beginning to end. Our HVAC system completely died in 2024. We were using AC window units and floor heaters, because we did not think we could afford a new system...until Bob's!

I used co-pilot to get the top 10 rated HVAC companies in the Vegas Valley and Bob's was ranked #1. I called and spoke to Alexis, who was so warm & patient, getting us scheduled with Adan the next day for a quote. Adan was SO incredibly through & HONEST. After looking over what we needed he gave us a quote that was literally half what we expected *including a year of service as well!!

We were able to finance through a partnership that Bob's has with Wells Fargo, for only $155 a month with great rates! We were scheduled the following Monday for installation.

The installation team of Francis, Darwin & Jathan showed up on time and went straight to work. Our home was built in 1962 and has old funky everything honestly. I had a real concern about the new equipment fitting without a ton of expensive retrofitting.

Well, the entire job was completely done within 6 hours and without a single hitch! Francis did an amazing job, magically fitting the new Trane Air Handler, where the old one was, with literally inches to spare! Jathan was able to also fit our new water heater into the small, tiny outbuilding miraculously as well! Darwin did such a meticulous job getting the HVAC unit installed outside perfectly with all the lines placed neatly and wrapped for UV protection! I was overjoyed to see the new circuit breakers for both the water heater and HVAC unit as well!

Everything was done at such a Professional level, I was truly blown away! These Guys absolutely know what there are doing and were extremely polite, efficient & hard working. They cleaned up after themselves and left things literally cleaner than when they began! Energy & vibration are EVERYTHING and every employee I dealt with was STELLAR!

I am now comfortably sitting in my climate-controlled home, with nice clean warm water...HAPPY as can be!

Victor was great—calm, friendly, and kept everything spotless (shoe covers and even the dolly wheels!). The visit went smoothly, but somehow our AC decided to quit right after the service, leaving us in 80° Vegas heat for nearly five hours. Not exactly the post-maintenance vibe we hoped for! Hoping it was just a fluke because the team itself was fantastic.

Ron performed maintenance on my heating system. He sent me a text 20 min before he arrived, he explained the service he was performing. He was very professional he wore covers over his shoes and placed a drop cloth to ensure nothing from the attic got on my carpet. He, replaced my filters and showed me how they should be installed properly. Ron was very efficient in and out within an hour and no mess, he even recommended possible energy efficiency upgrades to save on electric costs. I’m very happy with Bob’s, I’ve been a customer for over 3 years.

Polar Air is the gold standard for service and knowledge. They were quick to the job and never made me feel like I was taking them away from larger and more profitable opportunities. Their team explained things that made sense to me and made me feel comfortable that the money I was spending was worth it. They have an excellent field crew, office and leadership team. I will use them for all future mechanical needs and only recommend them to family and friends.

We recently purchased a new home Lennox AC system from Polar Air. They proved to be an excellent choice. They are honest, reasonably priced and very dependable. They arrived on time for the install and completed the job on schedule. They took care of all permitting and registration of our system warranty. The employees are friendly and easy to work with. HIGHLY recommend this company.

Polar Air & Heating Inc. was recommended to me by friends, after I'd already done a LOT of research and comparisons of other companies.....And boy am I happy they did. When I spoke with Polar Air, they were unbelievably helpful, even calling me back with an unbinding estimate (since I had the specific information regarding my current unit). Their prices were/are NOT to be beaten, and they did the onsite evaluation and estimate AFTER I decided to book them. The final price was right on target with both estimates, proving their honesty by not hiking up the prices after the fact. Coincidentally, our personal AC condenser went out, too.
Used Polar for that, too. Guiermo ("Memo") was a consummate professional in diagnosing, explaining, repairing, and then installing.
All field and office personnel seemed friendly and proficient.

Well it all started last year 5/22/2023 I came home from work and my AC was turning but not working so I ask my neighbor if they were happy with Polar Air. So I call Polar Air and Memo the technician came out that day. Memo said that the AC unit was on it's last leg and I knew that being the units were 33 years old. So memo got me up and running that day and Meno sent me a estimate on replace the unit. Well 2 months later the AC unit stopped working so I say I would just buy a window AC unit to get through the month of Sept.
So March 2024 I call a company for a estimate on replace the two unit at my home he comes out and give me a $38,000.00 number about had a heart attack he left and I call Memo for Polar Air and ask him if he would give me a new estimate on replace my two unit, Memo say the quote I gave you in May 22 of 2023 still stands about had heart attack number 2.
This was on March 25 Memo gave a quote price of $17885.00 cash on March 30th Polar Air came that morning at 8 I ask the first crew member that showed up how long will it take he said 6 hours and at 2:00 that afternoon they were done with a half lunch. Thank you Polar Air.

My neighbors unit were also 33 years old and the people that replace them star Fri March 29th and was not finish until March 30th at 8 pm that night

We arrived at our vacation condo and found that the thermostat had quit. We needed quick service. Polar Air responded right away to service request. The technician Daniel did a great job explaining the issue and installed the new thermostat and took the time to check out the complete system. Very reasonable pricing for quick service. I highly recommend them!!

Polar Air changed out my entire HVAC system. They were very professional and did an awesome. I was surprised on how quick and experienced they were, and when they were finished my AC worked amazingly well, especially compared to what I had. I got 4 estimates for essentially the same equipment, with bids for two complete heat pumps, one for the lower level, and the other for the upper floor. We also had all the supply and return air supplies replaced. Polar Air did the entire job in one day with two crews working 13 hours! Two competitors offered bids that were $30,000 above Polar air.
Two sales men from Polar air came into my home and we brainstormed ideas until we arrived at the best solution for my needs.
I’m a retired remodeler from Oregon, so I’m aware of the difference between good and bad contractors, and I’m impressed with Polar Air and all the guys that worked on my home.
They covered all my floors with tarps and wore shoe covers, which is above what I expected. All I did was the vacuum up afterwards and there was no sign that we had a dozen guys tearing the hell out of my home and installing an entire HVAC system.
They were a blessing, getting my wife and I an extremely high efficiency HVAC system.

My heat did not come on and of course bad timing . My neighbor told me about Polar and they got a seasoned rep out asap. He went over. thermostat and explained about wall unit in mobile home and about filters..being we used to live in house I completely forgot as my mom died. He told me filter to get and was kind and thorough..just charged the $30 service fee. I never write reviews but I had such a positive experience with Polar Air that I decided to share.
I decided to replace my 16 year old air conditioner before it failed in the Summer.
After researching different brands Lennox became my top choice because of their efficiency. Polar Air is an authorised dealer which gave me confidence in selecting them. I set up an appointment for an estimate with Memo who is also an expert technician so he was able to answer all of my questions without hesitation.
The installation went smoothly. They came on time worked neatly and cleanly and left everything in working order. I felt like I got the best air conditioning unit for the best price and the best installation. What more could you ask for?

Situation:
We had 20 year old, dual-zone, Carrier-brand, HVAC systems that were likely approaching their end of life. We decided to proactively replace both our HVAC systems with a premium brand (Lennox, Trane or Carrier) in the off season (November 2023). We solicited good (14 SEER), better (15 SEER) and best (16 SEER) bids from 10 HVAC contractors for both our 3.5 ton and 5 ton units. Note: All ten (10) contractors had solid ratings on Yelp, Google and NextDoor.

Outcome:
Far and away our lowest price quote came from Polar Air (at $18.5K for Lennox equipment) with the next lowest quote at $22K (roughly 20% higher for Trane equipment); however, most bids came in between $26K and $42K (a range that was up to 2x for precisely the same equipment -- folks steer clear of Goettl, Yes! and Sierra Air). Note: several competitors lowered their bids in an attempt to win the contract; however, Polar Air provided their best price without the need for haggling, upselling or cross-selling.

Polar Air Experience:
Our sales professional (Memo) arrived on time, was both personable & professional, never once attempted to upsell or cross-sell additional services, and prepared/sent us quotes within 24 hours. Memo made himself available both nights and weekends to answer our follow-up questions/concerns. Once we selected Polar Air, our installation was scheduled within a matter of days. The installers arrived at 8:30am and completed their work by 5:30pm. The installation crew (Cruz, Erick & Ramone) were very respectful of us, our property and one another. The crew worked well together and remained focused throughout the long day. The crew experienced no accidents/mishaps and there was need for only minor paint touch-ups to the attic scuttle trim. Veronica and Kayla (the office staff) ensured the entire end-to-end process occurred seamlessly, timely and without the need for follow-up from us. We were kept informed and, as promised, received everything within the timeline/schedule outlined upfront – manufacturer registration, parts & labor warranties, service plan (included), and AHRI certificate (for federal tax credit).

Absolutely an exceptional experience and a Service Provider that we strongly endorse!
