The representative went over all the information about our old unit and what the new one would be and how it would benefit us. We were given a fair and reasonable price and the installation went just as promised. We can already see a great improvement. My husband is a disabled Veteran and keeping cool in the desert is a top priority. I highly recommend them.

The team at Semper Fi are first in class. It started with Bayne who explained my options and provided me with very competitive pricing. My install was completed 2 days later by Matthew and Christian. They did a exceptional job and it looks and operates better than I could have imagined.

To start, we gathered quotes from 4 different companies. Semper Fi was the 2nd lowest quote. We really wanted to use them because their salesman seemed like an honest, caring and informed individual. They ended up matching our lowest quote so we proceeded.
The original installers noticed an issue that would delay the install an extra 24 hours which was fine. They brought swamp coolers, which kept our house cool until the following day. Great move!
A different team of installers showed up the next day and installed the new unit. Everything worked fine so they left. However, as you’ll see from pictures, the unit was not installed level. The plastic footers they used were worthless.
Ironically, Serper Fi’s quality control representative (the one who essentially does the city inspection via video) came to certify that the job was completed properly. According to him, everything was fine. I’m not really sure how an unbalanced machine with a hole in the brand new ducting sheet metal is considered OK. You’ll see what I mean further in the review.
The very next day, the machine started making a very loud noise which you can hear in the videos. So a warranty technician had to come out, 3 times. Luckily, the warranty technician was able to figure out the problem and properly level the unit with actual landscape paving blocks. It seemed obvious to both the warranty technician and myself that the original installers did a rather sloppy job. There was a ground wire just left laying around, a poor sealing job around the new sheet metal work that attached to the unit, amongst random trash wrappers left on the property. The warranty technician essentially fixed their install, and cleaned up their mess. It was the moment the warranty technician left when we noticed a hole in the brand new sheet metal which connected our new unit to our existing ductwork. So again, the warranty technician had to come back and seal that up. I had to ask this technician what else he would need to do for this unit to be considered perfect and to treat it as if it was his house so that I could be confident in knowing that our unit was fully installed properly. He was very honest with me and was the best technician that we had on our property hands down, even though he missed the hole in the new sheet metal.
Fast forward we were awaiting a call from Semper Fi to schedule our duct cleaning. We didn’t receive a call from them for over a week so I took it upon myself to get it scheduled. Basically, we were forgotten about. They utilize an outside company called “Dirti Ducts”. That company was absolutely amazing! They were incredibly thorough, informative, professional, tidy, and most importantly, supervised themselves.
I can confidently say that, even though I can’t give them a five star rating, Semper Fi is a great company. They gave me a great price. They gave me a quality unit. They showed up quickly. They were always kind. They always fixed any issue that we had without question.
The problem is simply supervision. Any homeowner that is spending thousands of dollars on their home, should not have to supervise the workers themselves. The average homeowner is not an HVAC expert. No homeowner should have to put a level on something to show how crooked it is. No homeowner should have to clean up after workers leaving trash on their job site. No homeowner should have to recheck a quality control representatives inspection. No homeowner should be left in charge of removing old wiring.
I honestly did not plan on leaving a review because truthfully, we are finally satisfied with this overall service. However, if you reach an agreement with this company, they will ask you to review them 100 times. Simply put, if the workers supervise themselves or if a quality control supervisor actually supervises the quality so that the homeowner could be rest assured they don’t have to put in any work, they would’ve gotten a five star review. 2.5/5 ⭐️’s in my opinion.

Jerid initially came to inspect my unit and was extremely professional, honest, and genuine. He was never pushy about getting services done, instead he showed me what was wrong, what could be done to fix it, gave me a few options, and was on his way. Because of his recommendations we made the decision to go forward with buying a new outdoor a/c unit. Semper Fi was quick and convenient. they were able to make a next day appointment. Financing options were available and we found an option that was perfect for us. The technicians came back the next day and were done within a few hours. Robert was also very professional, and kind and courteous to me and my home. Every technician that was in my home I felt was trustworthy, and that can’t be said about every HVAC company. Semper Fi also offers portable a/c units if they are unable to come fix the a/c right away and they bought me brand new filters after they completed the install of my new unit. Semper Fi is veteran owned and operated and they took care of us and offered significant discounts for us since we are also a military family. I cannot recommend this business more. The work they did was phenomenal and I send a million thanks!

We have met with two different technicians from semper fi. One for the cooling system and one for the plumbing system. Both technicians were very knowledgeable they presented information, did the work that they were contracted to do, and we're not high pressure sales. I find the organization easy to work with with great customer service skills. I highly recommend them. They had an amazing special for the plumbing flushing system. And the cooling system was a free checkup.

I had to get my old AC unit and my vents replaced. I met with their representative and I was given my options with great explanation. He got everything set up for my installation. Their crew showed up on time and got right to work. I would highly recommend this company to my family and friends.

Having your HVAC system replaced is never high on the list of pleasant experiences. That being said, Semper Fi does wonderful work. Their team was respectful, quick, and knowledgeable. The staff is very professional and kind as they check-in with you afterwards as well. They’re always making sure you are having a positive experience with their company and that is very refreshing.

I could not recommend this company enough. We had some problems w/ one of our two AC units. Called to schedule a service and they were out to our house diagnosing the problem same day. Our units were really old so the one that broke needed replaced. We ended up replacing both of them. They were out the next day installing the new units. Every single person we encountered was kind and respectful when in our home. They were efficient and very communicative. I hope to not have future heating/cooling problems but if we do, these are the guys!

Semper Fi Heating and Cooling took great care of my AC unit. They showed up on time, were easy to talk to, and explained everything in a way that actually made sense. The work was done right, and my AC is running strong again. I really appreciated the veteran discount too, its awesome to see a company that truly supports vets. Solid service all around. Starting out with making the right decision to call the best HVAC comany was difficult, but it all starts with a gimmick, a reasonable cost to evaluate an antiquated HVAC system from the mid 80s. Representative Kenneth Rymel, like all the Semper Fi employees, were both personable and professional with issues concerning the HVAC system in my home. After diagnosing my system and with the appropriate discounts, we arrived at sustainable monthly figure that would update my HVAC system for years to come. Semper Fi HVAC installers Diverous Vasquez and Zack were Informative and explained the installation process in detail and answered all the questions that rose up. It was later in the afternoon, that co-workers Rene and Eric responded to assist in the final stages of the installation, all in all the installation process was flawless. Semper Fi Inspector Eric Stull was also proficient and explained the inspection process as well...the most important part is that the cooling system works like a charm and you can feel the difference of the fresh cool air...thank you for a great sale and installation.
As part of the installation, free duct cleaning was offered. Dirty Ducts, a sub contractor came in and cleaned out all the HVAC ducts and dryer duct as well, a much needed overhaul.
Unfortunately we encountered a kink in the installation where cool air was disrupted. It was later analyzed by Semper Fi technicians and found the cause of the disruption. It was amazing that the error was found, due to the logistics of the transition of a system that was installed in the late 80s.
Semper Fi Magicians Matthew Smith and Darryl Settles, amazingly reconfigured the installation and remedied the solution. The system is currently working smoothly.
We had an issue with the thermostat and Darrell was able to resolve the issue immediately.

Took advantage of a special on a tune up. They called me when the technician was on his way. I love that Romel was super nice and comfortable, laughing at my crazy kids which made me feel so at ease with his visit in our homeschool chaos. He looked at everything and sat down at the end with me to explain what he saw and some options. I love that he didn’t over talk or push anything on me but answered any questions. Makes me want to call again next time!

Spring HVAC tune-up $17.75. Tech arrived in a company van gathered his tools and started working. Checked all electrical components for proper operation ran the unit checked more and after checked pressures. Frank explained everything as he went through the unit. Finished with a thorough cleaning of the units coils. Polite respectful of property and knowledgeable on the system. Was a pleasure having a great young service my unit. Thanks to Semper Fi for a great deal.

Thus company has great customer service and have given good options on what actions I should take on my old outdated equipment. Recently I had a free waterheater flush and a leak happened in which thanks to Chris supervisor had the best plumber taking care of the leak very fast so I thank Donald being so awesome in his expertise! Super cool nice guy that is a true proffessional and in my opinion should get a raise to keep him right and happy cause he brought a smile on myself and my husband! Thank you Semperfi!

Danny was our tech and he was amazing. He was thorough, friendly, and honest. He reversed some ad hoc engineering that another company had done. I never felt pressured to buy anything or even get service done. The price I was quoted for a new capacitor was way less than other companies were telling me. I finally found an HVAC company I will have no hesitation to call again.

I really did appreciate the service. While I still feel the price was a bit high for the work done, the quality of the service itself was absolutely 5/5. I’d be happy to have it done again given the chance.

EDIT: Added photos to show the final result. The gas control valve was the primary part that needed replacement, but the technician also offered to replace any additional components if needed (e.g., the thermopile or spark igniter). He was very knowledgeable about the system and walked me through the next items to keep an eye on over the coming months and years before they become major issues. He also took the initiative to place an additional diagnostic code sticker, since the original installers had put the first one in a poor spot under the belt. Overall, again, beautiful job.
