There’s no other company in town that I would trust to repair my AC and give me advice as to what I should do. Chance came out to my house and I knew immediately that he was far more educated than other technicians I’ve experienced, and I’m a Realtor so I’ve spent some time with multiple technicians from other companies. Chance not only knows how to fix the issues but he’s so helpful in educating you with what your system is doing, why it’s doing whatever it’s doing, and you can genuinely tell that he’s not lying to you or trying to upsell you to make money. Had a blower motor and capacitor go bad on one of my furnaces at home. Called Chance at Aloha who was very professional and gave me a fair price. Came out quick and was able diagnose and fix my heater within an hour. Highly recommend to anyone needing work done. Great company with good people who tell you how it is with no bs.

After receiving the news that one of my AC compressors was on its last straw and being quoted a price that would allow me to only replace one of two 16-yo systems, I contacted Aloha AC for a second quote. Their pricing was much more affordable and allowed me to replace both complete systems (AC and furnace). I was kept informed every step of the way. I received a call each day when they were on their way out and given a status update prior to the end of each day. Every person was friendly, professional, respectful, and really cared for my home. They laid out floor coverings as to not walk on my floors with dirty shoes or used shoe covers. At the end of each day they cleaned thoroughly. They noticed things they weren’t happy with immediately and changed it to provide me with quality products without delaying any install timelines. They tolerated my obnoxious pups who loudly voiced their insecurity with new people in the house and worked hard as if they weren’t even there. I highly recommend this company for any HVAC needs.

I thought this company was honest. However, when the tech came to see the he stated
1: I found the compressor on the roof to have the reversing valve stuck on heating and that the part was bad.
2: The refrigerant was the wrong type for this unit and that the indoor unit was not compatible with the outdoor unit.
3: He said they would have to replace the Ox Box which is an air handler for $11,178.
4: They said a mismatched unit like this would only work for 2 years.
5: He also denied that there was a sticker on the unit to identify the original installation.

Luckily I found the original warranty as the unit was only 2 years old. He graciously agreed to not void the warranty as the unit was worked on by Aloha air.
What he found was
1: The unit was not going into cooling as it was a special type that energizes in heating, not cooling.
2: The Istat was set on the O terminal and should have been on the B terminal which was how it had been left on installation 2 years ago.
3: it was also low on refrigerant due to a leaking Schrader which appeared to have been loosened to keep the unit in heat mode.
4: The wiring on the nest thermostat was changed to run on heating

The fix was to tighten the Schrader to prevent the leak. Apparently the units do match a 410 Acause and the coil that was installed 2 years ago is 410 A compatible. He also installed a TXV metering device for maximum efficiency as well as topping up the refrigerant.

Total cost $624.

The moral of the story is to have multiple estimates and to never throw away receipts and warranty

My AC went out around 7pm in the middle of summer. I called and left a message around 8pm with Aloha, by 8am Mario called me and told me he was sending a tech out before noon. When chance showed up he was very nice super professional and quick. My AC was fixed and blowing cold again in no time.

Aloha Air is a great company. They installed my humidifier and do regular servicing. They are quick to make the earliest appointment. When they get here the are careful of your carpeting and furniture. They do a thorough job and are reasonable with their parts and labor cost. I highly recommend them.

We have a 17 year old system. I know that means a lot of companies will automatically push for total replacement. And I'm sure that is often the correct assessment after so long. I was prepared for that, if necessary.

However, Dylan from Aloha never even suggested it. He diagnosed the problem (needed new blower motor and wheel) and fixed it. Getting the part meant waiting a day, but it would have been fixed on the spot if he had access to the parts.

I don't know enough about AC problems to comment on price. But everything I see about the quality of their work and people tells me the pricing must be very fair.

We had a rocky start to a professional relationship, with some misunderstandings over scheduling. Although, they showed how they can professionally overcome those obstacles, and did great work. The tech was knowledgeable, hardworking, and fixed my AC issue in no time. I will keep this company for my maintenance and AC needs as long as they treat us as well as they did, in the end.

Same day service. Chance and his helper came on time, found the issue and resolved it pretty quickly! Didn’t over charge me. My house is nice and cool and my bedrooms have a/c again! Very thankful and highly recommend their services.

Air condition just happens to go out on a hot summer day here in southern Nevada. I got referred to Aloha from a neighbor and they came out the same day to diagnose the issue. Chance informed me on how he'd approach going on the roof, took pictures of the issue, explained it to me as well as the fix. Got the estimate, they did the job, and they did it very well. Honest diagnosis and repair - can't beat that. On top of all of it, they wear little booties over their shoes when they walk in your house. Very considerate. Can't go wrong with these guys.
